Chapter 29: Chapter 27 – Setting up the tutorial grinding

Monday 9 DAAR (9 days after Akira's rebirth)

Akira woke late. She felt like she hadn't slept at all. Her head was spinning like a worse hangover.

She remained in bed hugging Hoshi.

"So this is a soul drain hangover feels like" Akira said.

"I feel like shit"

At one point Hina entered the room with a tray of steaming food and water.

"How is my brave bunny hero this morning?" Hina left the tray on the bedside table and kissed gently Akira's cheek.

"Woah, I will need some time to recover" Akira

"Can you get up or I have to feed you?" Hina

Akira lifted herself in sitting position and Hina passed her the tray. The delicious aroma made Akira drool and indulge the food.

"Mr Sojusan is awake. I think he still has few shots of consume left. Can you walk to the bathroom?

"Yeah, I feel sluggish, but not in pain actually" Akira

"CONSUME" Akira

"CONSUME" Hina

"Well Okasa, please tell me the system worked" Akira

"I would like to inform you, that now you are talking to a full fledged Exorcist! " Hina made thumbs up

"Hooraaah" Akira tried to sound cheerful, but it sounded as a person who was dead tired

"All right, first restroom the go to bed. I will come to check on you later, my brave little dragon girl" Hina was smiling bright/

"I am a dragon now? Akira said

"You earned it!" Hina

About lunch time Akira was feeling better. They ended Mr. Sojusan grinding and Akira exorcised the demon.

Mr Sojusan was properly brainwashed and sent away...

"So Okasa, tell me about your system now" Akira

Hina explained in detail what she was seeing in front of her.

"Hmm everything looks fine, Your soul type is A+. What a pleasant surprise." Akira

"Fufufu I am that good" Hina snickered

Akira pouted again. It was just not fair.

"You need to level up. You need as much mana as possible as the Exorcist class is practically a spell caster. Ahmm, Okasa when your level to goes up, assign 10 points to the soul attribute" Akira

"hmm let me see....... Done" Hina

[-1000 SU, balance 900 SU]

"We will have to lift you to lvl 3 asap, so you can exorcise the strongest of the demons I have met so far" Akira

"Shall I go to look for another "guest"? Hina

"Sure, the grinding process must run not stop" Akira

"What is a grinding?" Hina

"It is a gaming term okasa, means continuous and repeating activity that yields a steady influx of resources" Akira

"Understood, Going for the next grinding! He doesn't have a home phone so I will have to go out. Be ready to receive the next guest, once I return" Hina.

"All right, be careful okasa!" Akira hugged her mother and felt her warm embrace.

Once Hina left. Akira checked her status. It was all going good...

"Thank you! Now tell me what have been improved!" Akira

"Let me check the latest data.. I see.. yes  The consume cooldown dropped by 30 minutes to 2:30 hours and exorcise cast time is down to 25 seconds!"

"YEAH baby!" Akira pumped her fist

"When will I get the frequent usage of a spell upgrade??" Akira

"Hmm. You had cast consume more than 40 times already... It should come anytime soon" Kornelius

"What should I expect? " Akira

"Well for the first time upgrade, it will yield  another drop of the cool down" Kornelius

"Yes!! This will speed up further the grinding!!" Akira

"The what?" Kornelius

Akira explained what grinding means.

"Yes an hour drop of cool down will mean 33% faster processing, if you have the demons in line ready" Kornelius

"Me and Okasa are working on settling a steady stream of supply. We have some ideas already. Tomorrow we will begin working on our master plan" Akira

"If everything is well it will take 1 800 hours or 2-3 months to fill all of the attributes to 240 at lvl 24" Akira

"Not counting a second upgrade on the consume spell" Kornelius

"Yes, not counting that???" Akira

"So about this second upgrade. Can you explain how it fits in all this system works" Akira

"Sure. I have told you that the system is a tool, a helper for the soul to grow. It gives you the way and the know-how. It feeds the soul to grow and level up, but the entire heavy lifting is done by the soul.

Imagine a teacher holding the first-grade kid's hand both doing the writing motions. At one point the student starts doing it by itself. Same is with the system, it imprints the spell paths in the soul and at one point the soul wouldn't need the system's aid."

"And what happens when the soul learns the consume by itself" Akira

"That is the point, when few options will present" Kornelius

"Most arcanists chose the system to imprint a secondary path for an additional casting opportunity" Kornelius

"A DUAL CAST of "consume" ?? It will speed the process two fold!" Akira

"And a dual cast of Exorcise means 2 target eliminated at the same time simultaneously.  That is a serious improvement" Akira was getting in a very good mood

Akira's mood crumpled immediately

"Not fair" she said in a low voice.

"Excuse me?" 

"NOT FAIR! I am busting my ass of working hard and okasa just have it all on a serving plate" Akira shouted

Akira was pouting. Her beautiful face was wrinkled...

"Look some people are just better than others and had a talent. You should be proud to have such a person being a close ally" sage Kornelius wisely advised.

Soon Akira's "toddler's trait" gave way to the voice of reason:

"Haha, you are right partner. I am acting childish again" Akira

----- Leutenat Foxx POV----

Lieutenant Claudia Foxx - the Head of Sopura intelligence agency and princess Mira's maternal aunt was heading to the royal training grounds.

She have been taking care of the baby Mira since her sister and her family died a heroic deaths defending Terra, versus 10 times numerous demon horde. Their death bought few centuries respite for the Sopura kingdom as Voldemort's victory happened to be a Pyrrhic one. She wasn't a good parent as she was too young when she took care of the baby. She and Mira often had quarrels for insignificant matters. What Claudia knew for sure was that she deeply cared about Mira, but she couldn't express it in some meaningful way.

Soon she arrived at the royal training grounds when the young 21 y/o catgirl was dueling with 3 of the royal knights simultaneously. She stood up in a distance examining Mira's moves. She had the potential. Her body was very well built at a height of 1.80 m. Her moves swift and precise as her hero class Assassin suggested. She was yielding full legendary set of equipment.

Mira saw her Aunt staying in the back. She had that serious expression when something  important was going on. Few times her subordinates reported to her and departed in rush, almost running

"Something is happening" though Mira

"baah" Mira took a hit from one of her trainers and landed on the ground.

"You are distracted today Princes Leonheart" said the man and offered her a hand to lift from the dust. 

"Something is going on, don't you think Sanders?" said Mira pointing with her head towards her aunt who was giving commands to another of her subordinates.

The man scratched his head and said:

"I've heard rumors you know...." Sanders

"Rumors??" Mira Leonheart

"Something happened at the yesterday's war council. Everything was in turmoil after it ended, but no one is sharing details, being a TOP secret!" Sanders

"Interesting, what could it be to make my Aunt look so dead serious??" Mira pondered

"Well how should I know? It is way over my pay grade. May be you should ask your aunt. She has the credentials for it!" Sanders

"Well may be I will do just that! Thank you for your time today guys" Mira bowed and the others 3 contenders did the same in return.

She approached silently her Aunt from behinds. Then swiftly threw a dagger. The dagger flew with the speed of a bullet, Yet her Aunt just flicked with her hand and blocked. Not even botherring to look at its direction.

"Tz, I missed again. Someday I will get her! "Mira

Well aunt Foxx was the head of the intelligence for a reason. Mira had a long way to go in order to catch up  her level. That is why Mira  was enlisted in the "Hero Academy" in Paradise prime next year.

"Aunt Foxx what a nice surprise to see you here!" Mira smiled 

"Oh my dear niece. I came here to collect you in person" Fox smiled

"What? where are we going?" Mira 

"You have 3 hours to collect your belongings and report at North World Gate for departure"

"Where to auntie Foxx? Mira tried another approach using her charms to get some intel.

 "Classified! King Leonheart had ordered you to join the mission in order to get a field experience and training" Foxx

"Grandpa ordered?" Mira was surprised

"Yes, King's orders. Now move, I will expect you at the designated point in 3 hours sharp. Move out" Foxx ordered and left

"What is going on, I have never seen Aunt Foxx this serious" Mira pondered and headed to her chambers. Two of her personal maids quickly followed her in brisk steps.

"You wouldn't know anything about this ladies, would you? Mira smiled at the hot maids trailing her. They were sexy as hell as usual. Mira licked her lips watching them.

"Fuffufu I may have heard something... " The blond maid said giggling. "The rumors are, that you are heading to Paradise Prime."

"On an unlimited budget" Added the brunette.

"You girls are as reliable as ever. She winked at them and increased her speed. She had a bags to pack up and time was short!"

------ Hina POV----

"Welcome Mr Tsubaya. Make yourself at home. I will prepare for a refreshment until my daughter is ready for you" Hina

"Tzz, I cant wait for that, I will take her now!" The spiderman was feeling horny

"Oh my, of course, of course. You will be so pleasantly surprised of my Akira's abilities. They will feel like a magic hit you" Hina smiled

"If you don't want a refreshment may be I should offer you one of my husband's special medicine. It makes him fuck like a machine, all night long. Fuffu I can hardly walk straight in the morning" Hina

"A medicine! what medicine? Tsubaya

"It is a special one my husband acquired, when he was in the mainlands. An ancient recipe that makes the manhood, stand strong for hours. Fuffu I can personally confirm its effects" Hina looked shy covering her mouth.

"OH  and your husband wouldn't mind sharing one with me??? Tsubaya was flattered by the hospitality 

"Yes it is my responsibility as the host of this home to offer the best reception to the guest" Hina smiled in return

"Well then I would take one" Tsubaya looked pleased

"Fuffu a wise choice Mr. Tsubaya. I guarantee a truly magical night for you. Here you are." Hina passed the man a pill.

"Make yourself comfortable on the sofa. May be take your clothes as well? I am going to collect Akira and will be back shortly" Hina bowed and left

When Akira and Hina came down to the guest living room, Tsubaya was laying naked on the sofa drooling with a stupid smile.

"Okasa, put a towel over him. I will bring him to the bathroom upstairs"

Akira picked the man as a bag of potatoes and climbed the stairs without any issue

"Identify"
