Lucas’s silhouette flickered through the trees and he held the sword in his hand as he skimmed past the branches.

A five-foot wolf leaped from the bush and opened its jaw wide to tear Lucas apart. Its eyes seemed to glow blood red filled with murderous intent as Lucas’s image reflected in his blood red eyes.

There were pieces of meat in its muzzle and its canines that protruded outwards were filled with blood.

The smell of putrid flesh assaulted Lucas’s nostrils as the wolf pounced on Lucas.

Only a few inches were left from its sharp fangs and Lucas’s neck while Lucas remained unmoved.

A sharp line flashed and slowly a line appeared on the wolf’s neck along with faint marks of burn. Before the monster could let out a growl of pain, its head fell heavily to the ground and rolled a few distances before stopping while a decapitated body fell on the ground.

Another figure shot from behind trying to sneak attack on Lucas.

Raising its paw, it slashed directly at Lucas.

Swish!

A dagger flew in the air and struck its paw, making a bloody hole.

The wolf jumped back but three more daggers flew and pierced its back.

It shrieked, emitting a beastly howl and even before it could let out a menacing cry, Lucas’s sword struck and it was divided into two halves.

“Hah! It’s been 13 days since we entered. I don’t know how many days it would take to get out of here.” Lucas muttered.

While Lucas was taking care of things independently, he heard a loud roar that almost shook his soul.

Lucas looked in the direction of the sound and his heartbeat hastened.

“That was the direction Big Sis Morgana went.”

Without wasting any time, Lucas’s body dashed through the forest as the sound of crackling noise echoed throughout the area reaching Lucas’s ear.

……

“Fireshot!”

“Fireshot!”

“Fire bullet!!”

Morgana screamed at the top of her lungs as she fired a burst of spell propelled by her mana at the creature in front of him.

Nevertheless, the creature remained standing on its feet as it looked ahead. A glint of disdain flashed in the monster’s eyes causing the ground beneath its feet to shake constantly.

The monster was a massive three feet tall Gorilla. Its skin was deep darkish in color with some golden lines all over its body. Its eyes were fluorescent crimson and it had huge arms as thick as logs and there were two big horns on its head.

Its eyes flashed with a murderous glint seeing Morgana who attacked the creature while trying to maintain the distance.

Morgana was taking a stroll while clearing out the monsters but this sonic gorilla suddenly appeared in front of her.

It was a C rank monster and if Morgana’s guess was correct this creature might be the boss monster of the dungeon.

“I should retreat and find Lucas,” Morgana muttered while firing shot after shot.

BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!

Many projectiles hit the giant gorilla within an instant forcing it to take a step back and cover its eyes.

Morgana’s attack didn’t cause too much damage except giving it a few scratches and bruises making it angrier.

“Grunttttttt!” The Gorilla screamed and beat its chest which sounded like a beating drum of war.

Declaring the beginning of the war, it raised two thick log arms and smashed the ground.

BOOOOOOOM!..

The ground rumbled and a large crevice extended from the place it stood towards Morgana.

Morgana’s face became pale as she lost her balance for a second.

The gorilla roared and jumped towards Morgana.

Morgana didn’t lose her composure and calmed herself and fired a shot aiming at the gorilla’s eye.

The Gorilla grimaced in pain and landed beside Morgana but due to being hit in the eyes, it didn’t attack Morgana and rubbed his eyes emitting a grunt.

Morgana cast her plant spell to restrain the beast and without looking at it, fled from the place.

Vines started to sprout from the ground quickly and wrapped the Gorilla in the place trying to pin it down.

The gorilla snorted in disdain at the childish tricks and channeled its strength by swinging his arms and uprooting the vines like spider cobwebs.

Morgana was frightened seeing the Gorilla freeing himself from the spell and fired more shots but this time it was destroyed by Gorilla’s scream.

The golden lines on the gorilla’s body glowed faintly and all the hair on its skin stood up and loud shockwaves of sound started to erupt from his body.

Waves of sonic boom appeared which destroyed Morgana’s shot in the mid-air.

Morgan’s face lost its color and she was stung by the sudden sound attack.

“Arggg!” Morgana wailed, closing her ears due to the loud pitch of the sonic attack making her vision blurry.

The faint shockwaves of sound took her by surprise and blew her away for a few distances and her body dragged back a few inches and she coughed mouthfuls of blood.

The gorilla saw Morgana stopping in her tracks and raising its arms on the ground as a support to propel himself.

However, before it could launch itself it was hit by something giving it a cooling sensation.

BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!

Hundreds of spikes of ice appeared out of nowhere and fell on the gorilla like a storm.

The rain of ice spikes annoyed the gorilla and it gruntled loudly doing the sonic attack that blew away the ice Spike and shattered it into counties pieces of ice shards.

Lucas appeared before Morgana and seeing her pale face shouted”Big Sis Morgana, are you alright?”

“Sister Morgana!!” Alex shouted.

“Cough.Cough.I am fine.” Morgana spoke with a trembling voice.

“Lucas, we are clearly at a disadvantage here,” Morgana spoke.

Lucas raised his head to look at the Gorilla from the previous attack, Lucas felt an extremely terrifying aura being released by Gorilla every time it moved.

All of his senses were screaming about the danger that lay ahead and asked him to run away. It was on a completely different level from the enemy he had faced till now.

On top of that fierce breath, its large bulky figure was quite threatening and its thick log-like arms could crush him like a boiled potato.

“Damn! Why did it have to be a gorilla.” Lucas cursed while observing the gorilla moments.

“Sis Morgan, step back and run away. If you want to help me stay far away from the battle and try to pour all out your mana to cast a spell that can damage him.” Lucas muttered.

Before Morgana could get away, The Gorilla raised his head and rushed toward Lucas.

Lucas raised his hand and fired two ice spears at him.

The Gorilla just raised his fist and punched the spear shattering it into pieces and jumped on Lucas’s raising its fist

Lucas flicked his hand enacting the ice wall before him but before the Gorilla might everything was turned into dust.

But to its surprise, it wasn’t able to find the human nearby and looked around where the human sneaked into and it was hit by a ball of fire on its face.
