Lucas’s expression changed tremendously as the pain circulated to his brain and due to the sudden injury, he wasn’t able to move his left hand.

He didn’t get the time to take out the potion, not moving back as the monster already appeared before him.

Seeing the Gorilla raise his arm, Lucas’s face turned white with fear.

Lucas tried to use shadow steps but to his horror, there was no shadow within the radius of fifty metres from the place he fell.

Before the thick log arms could smash him, he created a big block of ice and kicked it with all its strength which pushed his body to a few metres while sliding on the ground.

BOOOOOM!

The ground shattered instantly and not to get blown away by the shockwaves, Lucas created a wall of ice which crumbled instantly due to the force hitting it.

Lucas felt the small particles of ice hitting his face giving him chills and he reacted quickly and stood up on his feet without looking back he jumped wanting to fly away to a safe distance for now.

But contrary to his expectations, he found that he wasn’t able to move.

“Damnnn!” Lucas screamed with horror and his heartbeat hastened and he was horrified to see the Gorilla had got hold of one of his legs.

The gorilla’s arms jerked a little and Lucas was pulled towards Gorilla.

Lucas tried to offer some resistance and pinned the sword to the ground while trying to throw some ice spikes into this Gorilla’s eyes.

But his hands slipped off from the hilt of the sword and his body was thrown toward the gorilla.

The Gorilla raised his hands and its big hand clutched Lucas’s waist tightly.

Lucas tried to punch the gorilla’s fist but he wasn’t able to exert his full strength as the Gorilla started to squeeze Lucas’s waist.

Lucas looked at the Gorilla who cast a playful smile and instead of killing Lucas at once started to toy with him and enjoy Lucas’s horrified expression.

“Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” Lucas yelled loudly as he felt the bones being crushed slowly giving him intolerable pain.

As he screamed while trying to struggle free from the grasp, Lucas took out the dagger and slashed aggressively at the Gorilla’s hand making bloody holes in it.

The gorilla roared in pain and emitted a loud bellow and unconsciously loosened the grip around Lucas.

Lucas took the opportunity and stabbed multiple times like a maniac.

At that time, the wind howled before the monster could react.

Swoosh!

A ball of fire hit the Gorilla’s back and burst into flames with a heavy eruption of flames.

“Kue Kkk!!”

“Krghhh!!”

The monster felt a sharp burning sensation that paralyzed him for a moment and it let go of the grip.

Lucas took this opportunity and instead of going back jumped towards the Gorilla and raising his dagger directly pierced one of the dies.

“Die!!” Lucas roared, pushing the dagger as deep as he could and even wanted to directly stab the dagger into his brain through the eye but he knew he couldn’t so he kicked the gorilla’s chest and jumped back.

Lucas started to run while finding a shadow.

His eyes glowed and he found a shadow under the tree and used shadow steps to hide.

Without wasting any time, he took out a potion and chugged it down.

Lucas felt a pleasant sensation passing through his body and heard a crackling sound in his left arm.

CLACK!CLACK!

Lucas pulled his arms so that the bones may be joined correctly.

Breathing heavily he tilted his head to see Gorilla whimpering in pain.

His back had been burnt into the charred skin while a part of the skin was blown by the explosion leaving behind a mess of bloody tissue.

Lucas raised his head to see Morgana searching for him with a pale face.

Morgana might have exerted herself a bit to cast such a destructive spell and if Lucas could have dragged a minute or two she might have almost taken down the gorilla.

Lucas saw the gorilla thrashing around here and there in pain and took this opportunity and ran towards the Gorilla.

The Gorilla noticed Lucas coming toward him and with an enraged expression, it roared toward Lucas and but before it could move, vines shot from the ground wrapped around him and unlike previous times it was quite sturdy making it difficult for the monster to get out.

Lucas covered his fist with a gauntlet and punched.

BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!

His fist once again hit the gorilla’s face impacting hard against the face causing the monster to cough up blood.

The Gorilla felt humiliated after being beaten by a meagre human.

It struggled to get free, tearing the vine to get free but Lucas didn’t leave in leeway.

Lucas raised his hand on which a huge ball of fire appeared which had a diameter of five metres.

Lucas started to squeeze the ball of fire condensing it maximum using his telekinesis.

The huge ball of fire squeezed to become a small ball which could fit in palms.

“Please don’t blow up…”

“Please don’t blow up…”

Lucas was compressing the huge ball of fire while praying in his heart. His control and exertion of strength weren’t at the level where he could control an explosion.

Just a slight mistake and the fireball may explode, taking away both of Lucas’ hands.

It was quite a dangerous move and if not for the situation, Lucas wouldn’t have used it.

Lucas jumped and slammed the compressed fireball against the Gorilla’s face.

BOOOOOOOM!

A burst of flame explosion occurred and Lucas was thrown back due to the power of the explosion at the same time his face was assaulted with the burning heat while his arms had been burnt by the sudden explosion.

The monster’s upper body was directly engulfed with blazing fire and its body was sent flying again hitting the hard ground with such ferocity that cracks extended up to thirty metres along the concrete ground making the entire place rumble

The explosion of flames shook the place and his upper body was entirely covered with fire.

Lucas rolled to the ground and got on his feet quickly and waved his hand to pull the sword in his hands.

Not sure whether the previous attack was enough to take down the brute.

Lucas’s sword started to heat up and illuminate the place and he ran toward the Gorilla to finish everything.

On the other hand, Morgana already started to squeeze every bit of mana she had to distract the monster in case Lucas failed.

Lucas was about to jump up when a small notification flashed before his eyes throwing him in disarray.

“What!” Lucas almost screamed and tiptoed on his feet and fell while the sword in his hand flew and fell on the ground creating a mini explosion forming a crater.

“How did he die?” Lucas gasped in surprise and saw that the flames started to disperse and the whole head of the gorilla had been blown.

Lucas couldn’t believe it and almost cried while thanking God. He hadn’t even imagined in his wild dream that the attack could blow away the head of the Gorilla.

Morgana ran towards Lucas and jumped on him, giving him a tight hug.

“Lucas, we did it”

“We did it.”

Seeing Morgana jumping around in happiness, Lucas sighed in relief.

This time he was really in a dangerous situation and might have been dead if not for Morgana’s intervention.

“Thanks for saving me,” Lucas muttered faintly.
