Lucas didn’t tell anyone about the incident nor did he think of exposing Will for now.
He knew that if a single word slipped by and reached Will’s ear, he would surely be in peril.
So, for now, he can only stuff the anger and raise his strength. His chance to strike back will come soon.
Once the demon invasion starts, the entire world will be in disarray and Lucas would surely grab the shift in power at that time.
Even though Lucas tried to hide the matter, it didn’t escape from the all-knowing eyes of the Princess.
Lucas didn’t know that the maid he had brought had already been brought in by Julian.
With Lucas’s absence, Layla was able to blend in easily with Julian’s maids and Julian asked her to inform them about anything troublesome.
Layla who was unable to take on Julian’s chilling iciness was brought in easily by the stick and carrot method of Julian.
Julian returned two days after Lucas’s arrival and heard about the meeting Lucas had with Will.
Although, she didn’t pry much into it. Lucas’s move gave away the secret.
Since there were some remnants of shattered glass on his forehead Lucas can’t use healing potions as they would just be stuck there so he had to visit the infirmary with an excuse that it happened during the training.
And one of Julian’s attendants checked the camera to see Lucas coming out with the injury from Will’s quarter.
Julian was really on the verge of an explosion seeing it. She didn’t know what was the content of the meeting nor did she know why Lucas was attacked but she just wanted to tear down Will into pieces.
Doing this in her absence was equal to challenging her authority.
The only thing that held her back was Lucas.
She knew that Lucas didn’t like when others interfered in his matters and he liked to solve things by himself.
So, unless she had Lucas’s approval Julian didn’t want to make a move.
And Lucas was the type of person who always wanted to take down his opponent by his means.
……..
Julian stared at Lucas who stood before her with a dazed expression.
Julian felt happy seeing Lucas safe and sound after so many days.
Thinking about the things that had transpired recently she shook her head.
‘This guy’s talent in getting into trouble is unmatched under heavens.’
Oblivious to Julian’s thoughts, Lucas stared at Julian with a dumbfounded expression.
Lucas could feel the aura coming from Julian and could sense that something had changed in her.
And on top of that, she had broken through to the 7-Star stage.
‘She is a monster.’
Lucas thanked God that he was on her side, otherwise he didn’t know when he would be frozen to death and broken into pieces to be scattered in some pond.
Julian thought for a moment and said”Lucas, I heard that you had a meeting with Will.”
Lucas’s expression turned ugly on hearing her words and he felt that someone had just rubbed salt on his wounds.
“This…Er.”
“I don’t need to know what you two talked about or what was the content?”
“The only thing I know is that you came out from there with a wound. That reason is enough to crush him down.” Julian spoke as her eyes flashed with a murderous glint.
“No, Your Highness!”
“There is no need for that.”
“He is my prey,” Lucas spoke as his eyes flashed with chilliness radiating killing intent.
“But”
Lucas cut off Julian’s speech in the mid and spoke”Your Highness to take him down, we need to take down his whole house”
“Currently we don’t have the strength nor are we in an age to play politics.”

“I cannot say about the contents but you should know that Reeves’s house had a foot in shady business which may prove harmful to the future,” Lucas said and he wasn’t lying or leading Julian astray in any sense.
“That snaky eye. I had a feeling that they were rotten apples from the beginning.”
If possible Lucas wanted to expose the link between Villain Society with Reeves’s house and crush them thoroughly. But their cooperation was still in the early phase so Lucas can’t do anything without any evidence.
“Just tell me when you wanted to strike.”
Lucas nodded and spoke, “By the way, congratulations to Your Highness for breaking through to 7-Star.”
“It’s all because of you,” Julian spoke with a smile.
“Me!!” Lucas asked with a startled expression.
“I have already drawn the circuit and it helped to make a breakthrough.”
Lucas’s jaw dropped to the ground on hearing about it. Drawing the circuit made her breakthrough, it didn’t happen in the novel though.
And according to the novel timeline, Julian was still in peak or mid-6-Star and her breakthrough would occur two or three months from now.
It might be due to the circuit curing her disease early along with additional benefits increasing the mana flow.
“Lucas, to repay your favour I have a gift for you.”
Lucas snapped out of his thoughts on hearing Julian’s words and looked at Julian taking out a ring and startling him.
Lucas’s eyeball widened and he subconsciously took a step back seeing a ring in her hand.
‘What is this? A ring. I mean a ring that is a vow..’ Lucas’s thoughts ran wild and his face heated up becoming red like a cherry.
“Lucas, this ring is for you,” Julian said.
“Your Highness isn’t this too early.”
Words blurted out from Lucas’s lips subconsciously.
“Hey, what are you saying,” Julian spoke, tilting her head with an innocent appearance and throwing it at Lucas.
Lucas almost juggled a few times to get hold of the ring.
“Highness, are you sure about this?” Lucas asked with a solemn expression.
“Just wear it, you will surely like it. It will help you in big fights.”
“Huhh!Fights”
Lucas calmed down on hearing the word fight and wore the ring.
“Channelize your mana into the thing.”
Lucas did what Julian said and channelized his mana into the ring.
The ring started to glow and Lucas’s whole body was enveloped in a bright flash.
Lucas felt a layer of armor appearing on him and as soon as the light disappeared, Lucas was covered in armour from head to toe with a big axe in his hand.
“Woahhh!What is this?”
“I took it out from the treasury. The armor and axe had lightning runes in them and helped you to condense lightning.”
“It’s a C rank armour set which had the additional lighting feature. But because of its low rank, it was discarded. Moreover, one needs to use an axe to use lightning as without it you cannot condense lightning.”
“It was rotting in dust so I decided to take it out for you.”
“I really don’t know what to say, “Lucas spoke as he was deeply touched by the gift.
Lucas remembered a ring like this in the auction which would just become armor that was sold for 180 million even though it was D rank.
Only highly proficient Dwarves can make things like this.
“Thank You!”
“I am just paying your debt. I owe you a lot and I will slowly pay all the debt.”Julian spoke softly.
