“Ah!” He clutched his head and screamed not that fiercely at the fierce burst of pain that hit him for less than a second, “What the hell! Since when are innate abilities detrimental to their owners! Is that the price I need to pay for what I’m currently seeing?!”

Not really in that much pain considering he was still able to make jokes, he quickly used his ability to erase items in the shop catalog to clear out all the intermediate knowledge and all the items costing less 10 000 FCP.

After doing that it became a lot more manageable while still not actually being any less hectic, “Where the freak do I start! Ho~ I feel like I’m in a pastry store! Violet fairy authority? Is that so freaking high that I’m above a 6-star general?!”

Not letting any of the worries he had recently acquired due to a certain quest shadow his young hot-blooded excitement at having reached what could only be described as a peak life moment, he freely let his mind freewheel everything.

“All the knowledge I acquired in the military… All of them are missing parts worth hundreds of thousands of FCP!” He had no choice but to conclude that aloud.

“Is it due to other fairies or secluded and retired powerhouses? And so many of them have been upgraded to the expert level! How much of a world-revolutionizing genius can I become by claiming them all?! And they’re all so inexpensive compared to what I’m able to grind!” Salivating over the extensive upgrade he would get easily if his FCP yield hadn’t changed, he continued to analyze this shop catalog.

“And look at those sweet new cultivation resources, hehehe~” He laughed sweetly as he continued to erase items after items that didn’t interest him at all as he read through it all without forgetting any single word, “You naughty rainbow mountain~ You hide the really good stuff from uncle Aven until now!”

From transcendently increased cultivation resources telling him he would be able to accelerate his cultivation speed that much more.

To ancient items that corroborated his theory that the military was, in fact, part of the Nation of Eland faction, and what he had under his eyes was most surely everything Eland had to offer a violet fairy.

To new elixirs and items, expensive but unique and certainly able to give him more weapons to allow his ignited ambitions to spill onto reality.

“So many ways to spend my FCP~ Repeated consumption to acquire permanent talent, unconfirmed repeated absorption to increase my talent level, fairy crystals to refine my bloodline, ultra-expensive and premium energy cultivation supplement…” Noting all the new paths of contribution consumption that had opened to him, he didn’t feel dizzy, he only felt enthused.

“The only constraint I have now…” He closed his shop and focused his eyes on the true most direct danger that was the abomination surge, “Surviving, making sure… Nothing bad happens, and farming contribution.”

Leaving the part about the invisible enemy unsaid, he jumped back onto his main artillery sniper.

He had 30 hours remaining in his current cycle to show how fervent he was in contributing to Eland.

The light and color show phenomenon remained unchanged and a few minutes later, Aven consumed the 3 small crystal flasks bringing about the supreme trinity effect.

With nothing else to do, he got back to contributing to Eland by reducing to bloody mist hundreds, maybe thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of abominations.

Knowing there was an “invisible enemy” behind him, Aven decided to slightly change his perfectly optimized contribution schedule.

Where before he only went to the command center for 5 hours when he woke up to let the ASHAS production hall produce continuously for 10 hours straight by including his sleep period, he decided to now go there once every 10 hours.

It really helped him that he didn't have to justify his schedule change, and while it made him lose a bit of abomination elimination contribution, it was the least he judged necessary to make sure nothing went horribly wrong.

He didn't know what form this invisible enemy had taken, and only the mention of a “few extraordinary survivors have been able to report its existence after they escaped its clutches” from his dynamic quest helped him make some hypotheses, so he didn’t risk himself and just kept it a secret.

He knew that the chances of a fairy having been “captured” were nearly zero, but he for sure would wait until he had some more confidence in himself and in supreme powerhouses like Arbelle, grade 5 beings, to start investigating.

Until then, he would just act at his scale, the one belonging to a newly awakened fairy enjoying all the support from Eland he would ever want.

When the end of his cycle inevitably arrived, he passed through the command center to confirm there wasn’t anything really weird going on and then turned on the ASHAS production hall for the night by infusing it with energy so efficient, intense, and durable, that probably only mythical grade 3 beings ever had one even remotely similar to it.

Returning to the fairy garden as exhaustion began asserting its dominance in a very harsh way, there was not even a single fairy to discuss with, so he simply retired to his villa where he claimed his contribution reward for the last 10 hours spent shooting an endless abomination ocean.

He had to claim a bit, 19 hours, of his contribution reward in the middle due to running out of FCP to claim his trinity energy cultivation effect.

Half-convinced and half-doubting, he repeated the same dilemma he already had an answer to, it wasn’t the first time he thought about how to best spend his FCP after all.

He had months of experience endlessly theorizing about his innate ability prior to his current situation to know what was best for himself.

Only the circumstances varied, but not overly so in the grand scheme of things that he started doubting what was obviously necessary.

“Yeah, it’s crystal clear,” he muttered about how there was no doubt to be had in this situation, “But maybe…?”

Fetching his phone, he hesitated for a bit before dropping it without sending anything, “I should start paying back my debt… Right? A few million to give them talents able to help them each day? Isn’t that worth it?”

As he had done for his parents, he couldn’t find a better way to start clearing his mental debt to his 2 mentors, Commander and Rival, the 2 people who had greatly accelerated his growth in exchange for nearly nothing except hopes for the future.

“I don’t have the time to write the perfect book of knowledge they want yet…” The more he thought about it, the more it seemed right, “But I can send a few consolation gifts, can’t I?”

Opening his shop, he had already decided that with his current FCP farming rate, he could effortlessly afford to bring 2 people into a comfortable talent level, so he began browsing for what best gift package he could give them.

“7 740 000 FCP, I think that’s a good consolation gift package,” feeling like what he was doing was right, he fetched his phone and sent a message to ERA, asking them to prepare an itinerary for a surprise visit to Commander and Rival in 10 or so hours.

“Hehe~ Now that’s a good way to go to sleep,” feeling like he had just given his entire fortune to charity and helped the world, he comfortably drifted to sleep.

Getting up, getting dressed in the same supremely comfortable white fairy uniform, eating the same fantastic balanced high-energy snacks, not finding any fairy to discuss with, going to the ASHAS production hall to fill it up for the next hours…

His waking up routine was as optimized as it could be, and Aven felt perfectly in his element amidst this perfected schedule.

He felt just a bit empty at not having a morning gathering to properly wake up, but apart from that, he really had no complaints about this life.

Back at EMATE, his lifestyle had already looked like that, at Blackdale IMC, his schedule also looked like that, and now it simply felt normal for him to dedicate himself to his path.

Picturing the all-important rainbow concept of the fairy culture that had a deep influence on the sapient nation's cultures, having named both the White and the Green, Aven imagined how logic-defying a fairy bloodline of higher grades would change everything.

“The only problem is that there’s no way to refine it further than blue grade… Anyway, that still means a whole purple grade as leeway~” Shrugging it off, he entered the command room with a boom, “Good morning everyone!”

“As expected of lifelong friends slash rivals, no way they would ever be far from each other,” reasoning as he looked at his GPS indicating he was imminently arriving, he thought about how the 2 locations he had been given by ERA just half an hour ago fit so perfectly.

Looking straight ahead, he only occasionally sent glances to his right where he could see the faraway front line against the abomination surge, reminding him that if he had prepared more, he would have been able to bring an artillery sniper with him to help at least a bit.

A fairy flying alone with dozens of boxes and a few guns of course made for a unique sight as he flew above the different sections of the Forbidden Wall unhindered, but as it was still the area occupied by Eland, none reacted more than that to it.

Finally reaching his objective, he wasn’t sure if it was still going to be a surprise considering how he wasn’t really an average person anymore, but he still acted as if his visit was still a complete secret.

“Let’s start with…” He wondered for a few seconds, “Rival! For no reason at all!”

Fluttering his wings once, he instantly adjusted his trajectory to collide with a research section as he lowered his altitude back to normal fairy flight heights, meaning a bit above where a tall human’s head would be.

It was time for him to fulfill his social chattering needs and start clearing a few bits of his mental debts.
