Field Expansion and Sowing Seeds

Business discussion with His Majesty? About a week later, the alchemy book that His Majesty promised me was conferred to my house.
The books were [Alchemy Textbook] Part 1, 2, and 3. In addition to that, I was given “A Delicious Table with Alchemy”; four books in total.
…I didn’t ask for the last book, did I?’
Maybe His Majesty himself has an interest in it…

When Mother looked at the books I received, Mother taught me, “You better send a thank you letter”. It seems like this sort of thing is able to convey the feeling of gratitude faster.

“A potion is the only thing I can give as a present in addition to my letter,” I consulted with Mother, then she gave me some advice: “Rather, wouldn’t it be suitable since Your Majesty has high hopes for your abilities.” In my thank you gift, I wrote “Praying for Your Majesty’s health” and gave him a potion to return the favor.

After that, it was decided that Father would manage my potion fees along with our family’s money, since I would need it later when I became independent or when I need to purchase expensive materials.

…As one would expect, I won’t be saving those gold coins in the piggy bank in the nursery.

Come to think of it, I still have not implemented the field expansion that Father has given me permission to do. Also, some of the plants have flower buds, so I need to collect the seeds and sow them.

Since I have to make periodic deliveries once a week, I spent one or two days of the week creating the goods for delivery, and spend the rest of the week working in the fields. The Eternal Grass I used for nutrients seems to be the type that grows rhizomes, so they try to expand their territory horizontally if I don’t notice their growth. Even though I collect them rather frequently, I will have to rethink the arrangement of plants in the field as well.

Thus, starting next week, I’ll spend roughly a day or two of the week working on the deliveries, and the rest of the week researching new things. However, I guess I’ll have to read the new book I got first. Yeah, it looks like I won’t be developing anything new for a while.

I was able to secure a source of funding for the future, but it’s quite a busy schedule for a five-year-old.

I consulted with Dan about the expansion of the fields, and the first thing to do is to imagine the plots.

First of all, the Eternal Grass should be put in their own independent plots. This is because the types that grow by rhizomes will stretch out their own roots and interfere with the growth of other plants’ roots.

The rest: Healing Grass, Medicinal Herbs, Magic, and Mage Herb should be newly sowed in a shared plot.

Then, the current plot I’m using right now. Once I have collected as much as I can in this plot, I will prepare the land and sow the seeds again.

Once the plots have been settled, I will make [Rich Soil] for the two new plots. With the amount of horse manure produced, this should take two days.

Then, I decided to plow the field one plot at a time with Dan, so it took two days for my fields. My muscles were sore the next morning, but I’m grateful that potions healed the pain instantly.

Then, I collected the seeds. For some plants, it was difficult to tell at first glance which seeds were which, but [Appraisal] helped us to identify them.
