“Thank you… truely, thank you very much!”

Once again, we were all seated on the sofa. Oliver-san and Katya-san were sitting across from me and bowed to me.
Then, Oliver-san presented me with a pretty pouch.

“Here is the promised completion reward. Please check.”

When I checked inside, the promised reward for success—three gold coins—slid down into my palm. Then, there was still something that felt like a card-like object in the pouch. I peeked into the pouch and saw a card with the words ‘Provisional Membership Card’ written on it.

“There is nothing wrong. This is the amount you promised. I will be receiving it. Also, thank you for the guild provisional membership card.”

I put them both back in the pouch and tucked them securely into my pocket.
While doing so, I stroked the Leaf’s soft fur, who was lying at my feet asleep in his puppy form. Leaf is always beside me like this.

“This ‘Provisional Membership Card’ can also be used as identification, so I believe it would be convenient to carry the card with you regularly. Come to think of it, I heard that Miss Daisy will be opening your own atelier. Are you making any progress with your preparations?”

Suddenly, Katya-san asked me. I lifted my head which had been looking towards Leaf.

“I have an idea of what I want the store to be like, but concretely, I have not bought any land nor hired any carpenters yet…”

Well, the point is that I have not made any progress with the miscellaneous stuff.

“May I help you with those matters?” Katya-san suggested as she clasped her hands in front of her chest with a friendly smile.

“If this is to thank me for the foot treatment, you do not need to be so considerate…”

I knew from her friendly, smiling face that it was not just that, but I tried declining her offer once.

“You are mistaken! I am interested in Miss Daisy’s new store! Excuse me, but my father told me about it… umm, you are going to sell soft bread as well, right?!” she said as her eyes sparkled.

Next to her was Oliver-san, who bowed his head in apology for talking about the bread to his daughter.

Ah… she’s aiming for that.

“I am very interested in that store as well! If you need any type of craftsman, I can easily ask for my father’s help. Please let me be a part of setting up your atelier!”

Holding both of his daughter Katya-san’s shoulders, Oliver-san leaned forward to join the conversation, “I am sure it will be a good experience and learning experience for my daughter as she prepares to become a merchant on her own. Please listen to my daughter’s request.”

Even Oliver-san was backing her up.

Thus, I got a new friend who would help me open my atelier.
The young miss of a merchant family with light blue twin-tails. A girl that was two years older than me and would be eleven years old soon.

Some other day, Katya-san came to my house to discuss the image of my atelier and future plans. Although she still needed a cane, she was getting used to using her own two legs day by day.
I slowly led her to the guest room, matching her pace.
In the guest room, I had Mina and Marcus come before us to meet with Katya-san.

“Nice to meet you, my name is Katya. I am the daughter of a merchant. I have been fortunate enough to meet Daisy-sama and I am here to help her open her atelier,” Katya-san said, then smiled and bowed lightly.

“Katya-san, these two are my servants who will be following me to my store. The girl here is a chef who knows how to bake as well. Her name is Mina. Then, this boy here is Marcus, who will be assisting me with my alchemy.”

“It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Katya.”

Mina and Marcus bowed in a polite gesture.

It has been a while since I have been in close contact with Marcus, but his demeanor was calm, his back was straight, and there was not a trace of the impatience he used to have. It must be the result of Sebastian’s re-education as a butler. I thanked him from the bottom of my heart.

“Well then, let’s sit down and talk.” I prompted, then everyone sat down on the sofa.

I spread out a drawing of my studio on the table that I had drawn with Mina.

Katya frowned when she initially saw my plan.

“I think there might be negative effects to a two-story building. I believe it would be better to build a three-story building and divide the living areas into a male and a female floor. Even though you are still young, Miss Daisy is a noble young miss. It would look bad on you if you did not segregate the living spaces by gender at the bare minimum.”

“…I have never thought about this,” I let my true feelings slip as I murmured.

In the first place, I never saw Marcus as a man at all.
“Miss Daisy? Even if you become a merchant, you were born the daughter of a noble family, so you have to at least keep up appearances to a bare minimum,” Katya-san gave me a warning.

…For some reason, it feels like a Kate around my age has joined the group. 1
