“Clang!”
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
The sound of continuous metallic clashes rang in the area as Lily and Aakesh clashed with each other.
After Lily woke up, Aakesh decided to train Lily for one year so she could get accommodated with her strength and the skills she had gained from her breakthrough with the help of Autumn.
Today was the last day of her one-year training.
Aakesh used a simple method to train Lily.
First, he would be the only attacker, and Lily would need to defend herself from his attacks. Second, Lily would be the attacker, and she would need to succeed in hitting Aakesh. Third, they would have a physical combat match. During the training, Aakesh had reduced his strength to match her.
In the battle, Lily would need to survive for an hour to win, and none of the participants would use any type of skill since the training was solely physical combat.
Lily and Aakesh were currently in their last phase and were in a battle.
To win, Lily needed to either survive for an hour or defeat Aakesh, but it seemed the task was too daunting for her. It had only been around a few minutes since the fight began, but Lily was already in trouble. The situation was such when Aakesh wasn’t using his full strength(It refers to the full of reduced power).
Since the first day of the training, Lily hadn’t been able to win against Aakesh or survive for an hour even when they battled with an equal amount of strength.
Lily had failed to force Aakesh even once to use his full reduced strength during all this time. But it didn’t mean Lily was some weakling.
When they started battling, Lily only survived for a few seconds, and that was only due to her quicker speed when both of them had a similar amount of strength.
As time flew by, the survival time for Lily only increased.
For the last month, Lily had succeeded in surviving for at least six minutes in the battle, and she had even once successfully struck Aakesh. Unfortunately for Lily, hitting Aakesh was just a one-time wonder since she failed to repeat that sequence even after growing stronger.

Aakesh casually slapped Lily. Before it could hit her, she dodged it by jumping in the air. She then pounced on Aakesh in midair using her frightening agility.
Aakesh looked unfazed by the upcoming pounce as he casually raised his hands in the air and grabbed hold of her.
Unfortunately for Aakesh, it was only a mirror image. When Aakesh thought he had grabbed Lily, his hands passed right through her.
Lily, on the other hand, got excited since she got the chance to repeat the one-time wonder of hitting Aakesh.
Her excitement didn’t last long as just before she thought she would hit Aakesh, a hand came from behind her and grabbed her.
Lily may be quicker when it came to battle, but there was no comparison between the reaction speed.
This time Aakesh caught hold of Lily. The battle should’ve come to an end at this moment, but it seemed Aakesh had other plans. Lily was on the verge of giving up when Aakesh released Lily.
“This is the last battle. Impress me,” Aakesh then expressionlessly told Lily.
Lily could only wryly smile since she thought that the battle had come to an end, but Aakesh wanted to stretch it.
Since today was the last day of the training, Lily decided to persevere for some time more and then began the second battle.
Time flew by.
“I give up,” Lily gave up, announcing the end of the battle.
Even though Aakesh gave Lily a second chance, Lily failed to capitulate on it and lost again.
Aakesh always knew that Lily wouldn’t win against him even when he had lower strength than her, but since he hoped for her to win, he gave his all for her training.
The expressionless face Aakesh had been carrying for the past year then disappeared, and a smile took its place.
“Go and test your strength on the testing slab,” Aakesh smilingly told Lily and pointed at the testing slab, located a few hundred meters away from the battle arena.
Lily nodded since she had gotten used to testing her strength after every battle. She then proceeded toward the testing slab while Aakesh returned to his chair.

“921,482,031,” The testing slab showed the amount of power Lily’s raw full-powered punch carried after Lily hit it.
“A growth of 283 Primal units,” Aakesh muttered as he could see the digit on the testing slab even when he was several hundred meters away from it.

After testing raw strength, it was now time for Lily to test her skill’s destructive power since she tested everything after the battle.

“Hey, system, take the testing slab away,” Aakesh told the system since he had no use for it anymore.
Lily’s training for the year had come to an end today, and he was satisfied with Lily’s growth and had no plans to increase the days.
The next moment, light particles started moving away from the slab. Soon, the testing slab disappeared from the place, waiting for Aakesh to call for it again.
“Don’t forget your promise,” Lily also reached Aakesh and stated.
“I know. Even if I had no plans for your training, I would’ve still given you that,” Aakesh smilingly replied, returning to his previous demeanor with Lily.
***
“Finally!” Lily yelled in excitement since her training had finally come to an end. Remembering the past year almost made Lily’s eyes wet as it was no less than suffering.
Even though Lily grew stronger, she still didn’t like it.
Since there was no sun and moon but only darkness in the Conspiracy continent, there was no concept of day and night.
To calculate a day, Aakesh used the help of the system. Visteerna had a 24-hour day and night cycle, and Aakesh used the same number here.
Whenever 24 hours would end, the system would inform Aakesh that the previous day had ended and a new day had begun.
During that 24 hours of a day, Lily would train for 23 hours every day without rest. Of that 23 hours, Autumn would take the massive chunk of twenty hours for Lily’s skill training, while Aakesh would only take three hours.
Yet those three hours of training felt more to Lily since Aakesh was the trainer. Aakesh’s strictness would even put his indifference toward everyone other than her, the store, and the system to shame.
And after that three hours of torturous training, Lily would get only a single hour of rest, which was in no way sufficient after getting so mentally drained.
Aakesh also understood the fact that he was too strict, but he didn’t care since there was no shortcut when it came to training for both the trainee and the trainer.
But now that the training year had come to an end and it was now the last hour left of the year, which was Lily’s rest time, the strictness disappeared as if it was never there, and whatever Lily felt was nothing but an illusion.
“You can rest for the whole day. We would leave for the ruler’s world the day after tomorrow,” Aakesh smilingly told the already excited Lily. He understood just how mentally drained Lily was after a year of training with a measly hour-per-day rest since she didn’t have unlimited stamina like him. So Aakesh decided to give Lily sufficient time to rest before they would move for their next phase in this adventure on the Conspiracy continent.
Lily fell asleep right away after hearing Aakesh as if his words carried magic.
Aakesh then bent down and gently picked Lily up. He then put her on her chair, waiting for her to wake up when she had sufficient rest.
Aakesh’s eyes then fell on Autumn, who was looking in his direction.
“I owe you another favor for training Lily,” Aakesh commented, despite there being a distance of several hundred meters between them.
Despite the distance, Aakesh’s words sounded right next to Autumn.
“No need. Lily is my ancestor,” Autumn replied, but she noticed that Aakesh had already moved his face away as he had no interest in learning about her response.
Aakesh’s words may sound forceful(A/N; They are :)), but he wasn’t petty. For all the help he got, he made sure that he repaid it severalfold. The case of Elsie(A/N: The girl in Panagea who bought Aakesh the meditation art) was evident.
Aakesh had rarely gotten help from others, and Autumn had already helped him twice. First, she took care of Lily, and now she helped Aakesh in training her.
For Aakesh, any help related to Lily was immeasurable, so now, Aakesh had to give something to Autumn that was even greater than that.
Autumn could only release a wry smile after seeing Aakesh ignoring her reply. She had already gotten used to such eccentric behaviors from him, so she stopped thinking about it.
Katrina had fallen into a deep sleep when Lily’s training began, so Autumn also had nothing else to do. She then closed her eyes and fell asleep, only to wake up on the day Aakesh and Lily would enter the ruler’s world.
Time flew by.
The day had come to an end and announced the beginning of the day.
Lily, who had been sleeping for the past several hours due to excessive mental exhaustion, finally had a movement.
