After Lily and Aakesh appeared in the selection area, Lily selected her usual training environment.
The next moment, a space crack in the form of a portal appeared and sucked her inside.
The next moment, the view in front of Lily was different as she found herself in a familiar forest filled with trees that could even bring planets to shame with their sizes.
Not even a moment had passed when Lily sensed a familiar presence approaching her. In no time, a creature the size of a planet appeared in front of Lily. It then looked down on her with a majestic expression in its eyes.
Lily also looked straight into the eyes of the creature and soon expanded herself to her limit, growing from Aakesh’s height to a size of tens of meters.
The Epochal Feline then suddenly turned around and left while Lily followed it. Even though Lily was already strong enough to rip apart a void beast just by a casual swipe of her claws, Lily still couldn’t chase the figure since the Epochal Feline in front of him was way more powerful. Soon Lily became the only one seen running in the direction of the silhouette that had just disappeared.
Time flew by.
It has been around half an hour since Lily appeared here for the training with the other Epochal Felines.
Currently, Lily was fighting a tragic battle with an Epochal Feline that had reduced its level to just one level above Lily.
“Why don’t you show the same amount of strength in your attacks as what you show in your words?” The Epochal Feline ridiculed Lily as it kicked her out by only using the amount of strength that would hurt Lily but not push her out of the arena.
Just like Lily, the other Epochal Felines had sadistic tendencies when it came to battles. Their cruelty would even put an evil being to shame, but here it was nothing more than playing between two Epochal Felines. Even the first Epochal Feline, who led the felines here and liked Lily the most, didn’t say a word but only smiled as the battle continued.
Even Lily, who had just gotten kicked, didn’t feel that her opponent was humiliating her. In fact, if she were on the other side, she would have done the same. It was their natural personality, and no one could take that away from them.
“Hmph, if my attacks were as strong as my words, wouldn’t you be the one lying here,” Lily scoffed as she spat a bucket of blood.
A round of laughter rang in the area as the Epochal Felines mocked the winning Epochal Feline for not being able to shut Lily’s mouth, despite being in the winning position.
Time flew by.
“It’s time to end the battle,” The leader of the Epochal Felines suddenly appeared in the arena and moved the two participants away since she felt that it was enough. Any more such actions may become a humiliation for Lily, resulting in deep animosity between the two Epochal Felines.
All the Epochal Felines here were already dead, but the leader still didn’t want the relationship between the living and the dead to sour.
The leader then waved her hands, and soon a green light engulfed both the felines. In no time, their injuries healed, making them as healthy as before.
“Hmph, I will win tomorrow,” Lily scoffed as she looked at the winning Epochal Feline.
Lily had already become the best when it came to battling on the same level. None of the Epochal Feline here, including the leader, could defeat her when they were on the same level as Lily.
The winning Epochal Feline smilingly nodded. It was a gentle smile as if all that happened in the arena was done by someone other, not her.
Lily then looked at her next opponent since she would have to fight eight battles every day with the Epochal Felines one level above her.

It was currently the eighth battle.
Soon the battle began. In addition to healing Lily physically, the green light had also taken effect mentally, making her feel as if she had not fought at all, so she was ready to face the next battle right away.
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
The sounds of metallic clashes rang in the area as Lily and the opponent clashed with each other.
For the first few rounds, Lily was able to force the opponent back, but as time passed, it was her that started getting pushed back, and sometime later, it became an overwhelming advantage for the opponent.
No Epochal Feline was a mediocre creature since only one was born every Epoch. If not for Lily having a 100% pure bloodline with an added mixture of Aakesh’s bloodline, it would have taken Lily several millions of years of training even to draw a battle with the same level leader, let alone defeat it.
Time flew by, and Lily’s eighth battle finally came to an end.
In the end, Lily had one draw and seven losses in her hands when she exited the training environment.
Since Lily’s training for the day was over, she thought of leaving. The next moment, a similar space crack emerged and sucked her inside.

The silence permeating every corner of the selection area broke down as a space portal emerged, and soon Lily stepped out of it.
After stepping out, Lily found Aakesh waiting for her on his chair, so she proceeded toward him after asking the system for her chair.
For a moment, Lily was about to revert to her tiny size so she could sit on Aakesh’s head, but she remembered the tradition and also the fact that she was now growing up. She couldn’t stay on Aakesh’s head like a newborn all her life.
“Did you win any battle today?” Aakesh smilingly asked as Lily sat down on her chair.
“No, one draw and seven losses,” Lily responded in her childlike voice. There was no disappointment in her voice since Aakesh had taught her to learn from whatever result she got. If she lost some battles, she would also win them one day.
