Lin Ren took a step forward and touched the tip of the nearest portal to him, which wasn’t grayed out.
The next moment, a suction force mightier than anything he had ever seen, and without even gathering the courage to fight back, he got sucked inside.
The next moment, Lin Ren found himself standing in an unfamiliar place, not the store.
“Eh!”
Lin Ren couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise when he found out that his body held no energy. He was nothing but an ordinary human at that point.
Aakesh had told Lin Ren about him turning to the state where he had no cultivation but still seeing his cultivation getting snatched while he didn’t even know how it happened sent shudders down his spine.
“Adventurer, welcome to the world of Panagea!”
The next moment, a soothing and gentle voice rang in Lin Ren’s heart, breaking him out of his stupor.
Lin Ren subconsciously turned around to see the owner of the voice. When he turned around, his face turned red, while his eyes turned big. For a moment, his breathing got rough, but he soon came around.
“So beautiful,” Lin Ren murmured in a voice he could only hear, or so he thought.
The Angel standing in front of Lin Ren clearly heard it, but her face maintained the smile.
“Adventurer, do you want to know the history of Panagea?” The Angel asked Lin Ren, ignoring his expressions.
Lin Ren didn’t even hear the question clearly as his mental strength was nowhere as powerful as what he had in the Primal dimension. In addition to that, he had never seen anyone more beautiful than the Angel in front of him. Her beauty was such that Lin Ren didn’t even ponder over the existence of a creature that surpassed divinities and lived in an even higher dimension.
Even though Lin Ren didn’t hear the question clearly, it didn’t stop him from subconsciously nodding his head.
Time flew by.
Lin Ren stood on the spot with an awestruck face. Now the beauty of the Angel didn’t matter to him since he saw a war he couldn’t even imagine in his dreams.
Just from the sceneries, Lin Ren could sense the power gap between him and an ordinary soldier fighting in the war for the ten Emperors.
The higher power in this world reduced the mental effect of what the scene entailed, and Lin Ren heaved a sigh of relief for it. If it didn’t happen, then many people would turn into crazier people due to the extent of the war.
Only a few seconds had passed when all the effects he had felt while watching the scene of the war vanished. It felt as if what he saw was something ordinary and didn’t need any further attention from him.
A few more seconds passed, and Lin Ren stopped thinking about the war and Vritrasura, but he instead focused on his environment.
Lin Ren currently stood in a place filled with nothing but bushes, and the majority of them came up to his waist.
“Roar!”

Lin Ren was only looking at the place when he heard a beast roar coming from his right.
Lin Ren couldn’t help but freeze on the spot as the roar was mixed with killing intent. Gathering his courage, he turned his face to the right, only to find nothing due to bushes.
Since he was nothing but an ordinary human, his sight was also normal. The large bushes blocked his line of vision.
The situation didn’t continue for long as he finally heard the sound of footsteps approaching him.
The sound of footsteps was loud as if the beast was not afraid of its hunt escaping. The beast was correct in its thoughts as the bushes not only blocked his sight, but it also made running difficult.
Lin Ren had all the physical techniques he had learned in his mind, but he still ran as he could feel that he was no match for the beast. The sound of footsteps continued getting louder while Lin Ren’s heartbeat also rose with it.
Lin Ren’s steps suddenly came to a halt as this time, he not only heard the sound of footsteps, but also a hot wind caressing his body. With the warm air came the voice of breathing.
Lin Ren, gathering his courage, turned around, only to find a creature staring at him with rough breathing while its mouth was watering.
The creature in front of Lin Ren was a hyena, with its height only reaching the knees of Lin Ren. He could also feel a sense of pressure from the beast.
Lin Ren’s senses weren’t wrong as the hyena was a Level 2 creature, while Lin ren was an ordinary person.
The difference between creatures with energy and without it was too huge to get covered by someone with physical fighting techniques.
Lin Ren could’ve hoped of escaping, but these bushes came as another interruption in his way. The hyena had no issues chasing him here, but he could only run at half his speed.
‘How could my luck be so much worse?’ Lin Ren couldn’t help but think as he understood that it was a rare occurrence. How could people even start their journey if they were to face an energy creature at the start?
The hyena’s eyes had a hint of cruelty in them as it slowly approached Lin Ren.
Lin Ren still hadn’t given up, but it seemed his luck was only getting started. He had only taken two steps when his foot slightly slipped, and he crashed to the ground, dashing his hopes of survival.
The hyena’s eyes got excited as now there were no chances of its hunt escaping its jaws.
Lin Ren also lost hope of survival and hoped in his heart that it was a one-time occurrence, and the next time he revived, he would appear someplace else.
The hyena finally reached the fallen Lin Ren. Its mouth was pouring out a waterfall. The hyena didn’t want to go straight for the kill, so it went for Lin Ren’s legs.
Lin Ren couldn’t help but feel his blood running cold as he wanted all of this to end as quickly as possible. Aakesh had told him that the pain inside Panagea was the same as it was in the actual world.
