After learning the details of the quest, Lin Ren started preparing for it. The mission tested both his strength and intelligence, so he knew he carefully needed to do things.
Lin Ren needed not only strong but also those who would listen to his orders. If even a single person refused to go through his orders, all his efforts in the quest would be in vain, so Lin Ren needed to be careful here as well.
“Who wants to go on a hunt with me?” Lin Ren suddenly shouted, taking all the attention of the members present around him.
Even though it was an archaic area and there was no such thing as an adventurer’s privilege, the people of the settlement still treated Lin Ren respectfully due to him getting hurt in their schemes.
As soon as Lin Ren loudly uttered those words, a crowd gathered around him in no time, with looks of excitement on their faces.
The settlement had humans as the dominating party here, but around the settlement, the number of beats was too much, so the people could never expand the settlements.
Any Level 50 plus who left the settlement in search of a better future for the people here never came back. The people here didn’t even know whether they had died or got themselves a life of luxury, so they forgot about the people.
As soon as the inhabitants of the settlement heard the adventurer asking for those to go on a hunt with him, how could they not get excited?
The six people knew about Lin Ren’s lack of strength, but still, they were in the bunch as well. They knew that adventurers were from an outer world that had come here for the final war and was Immortals. So how could they not get excited when someone who could never die was going on a hunt with them?
At the same time, there were also people who had grave expressions on their faces, seeing the excitement of their fellow neighbors.
The reason for them feeling tense was the adventurer’s Immortality. Since the adventurer was Immortal, he would do things taking that attribute of theirs into consideration. But the people here were not Immortals and could die, so it would only bring harm to the inhabitants of the settlement and not any benefit.
A few seconds later, several people started calming down, and soon, the entire area dawned into silence, and the people set their eyes on the adventurer. There was not even the sound of breathing present there, making the area suffocating for Lin Ren.
Lin Ren took a deep breath to calm down. His eyes then turned calm as even though he was currently only an average human with no supernatural powers, he still had the memories of the Primal dimension. He still had his aura of the Emperor.
Lin Ren was unaware that when his eyes and the aura around him changed, a man who had also joined the queue around Lin Ren straightened up with a look of curiosity and excitement in his eyes.
“I only need Level 1 people. Everyone who is higher than Level 1 please move away,” Lin Ren calmly announced, bringing a look of shock and surprise to the eyes of the people.
The entire area turned into a fish market as everyone started discussing with each other, ignoring the adventurer.
One second passed, two seconds passed, and as the third second passed by, Lin Ren majestically yelled, “Silence!”
The entire area fell into an eerie silence as every person except the man found the situation to be different. They never expected a man with no supernatural power to attempt to silence them.
One woman even got offended by Lin Ren’s tone. She was a Level 3 human, so her strength was several notches higher than Lin Ren.
She took a step forward and stared directly into the eyes of Lin Ren with a hint of killing intent to it.
Lin Ren felt a heavy hammer hitting his body at that moment, but he knew he couldn’t back away. If he backed down, the people here would never mold into those people he wanted for the quest.
Lin Ren met the eyes of the woman. His forehead started turning wet as beads of sweat started gathering there, while his knees slowly started sinking.
Suddenly, the woman’s expression took a turn for worse. Earlier it was an angry face, but now a smirk was spread wide across her face.
Lin Ren’s face turned ugly as he understood the woman was playing with her.
Suddenly the pressure on Lin Ren increased several times, forcing him to kneel on the ground.
But something unexpected to everyone, including Lin Ren, happened the next moment. Instead of Lin Ren kneeling, it was the woman who knelt with her face heavily crashing to the ground. The crash was so hard that a stream of blood could be seen flowing on the ground where the woman’s face was.
(A/N: Reverse Uno!)
Lin Ren looked around him in surprise since a moment earlier, when his knees were to touch the ground, a warm feeling appeared on his shoulders, and invisible hands picked him up. He also was unaware of how the woman landed on the ground. Even he couldn’t help but suck a cold breath of air, as the woman couldn’t be anything but dead, as her head had just cracked open due to a crash, with brain matter flowing with the stream of blood.
Chaos emerged around Lin Ren as there was death around them, and it didn’t belong to the beasts, but she was their own. In addition to that, the woman was a Level 3 human, so she was an asset to the settlement when going to hunt the most common Level 1 and Level 2 beasts.

“Now, now, don’t create a scene in front of our adventurer.”
Suddenly, a man’s voice filled with femininity to it rang in the area.
It was as if the voice had a soothing charm to it. Everyone calmed down and turned in the direction of the voice.
People made their way as a man more beautiful than a woman was coming toward Lin Ren with a smile on his face. Lin Ren had his jaw almost dropped to the ground as the man had worn a female dress that hid the area from chest to thighs. What’s strange was that he was a man who had a feminine voice but had a manly walk.
“Forgive this lowly being for the impudence of that wretched lady,” The man smilingly told Lin Ren. When the man referred to the woman, there was disgust on her face. In the end, a seductive smile spread across his face as the man winked at Lin Ren.
Lin Ren felt his blood running cold from fear after seeing that wink. He couldn’t help but move his face away, not daring to look at the man.
“Why hide your face? Don’t you like this lowly man? Just say a word, and I shall cut open this face that made you move your eyes away,” The man replied with a clear hint of disappointment in his voice. Lin Ren felt his body curling after hearing the man’s words; such was the feeling the man’s words gave him.
“Who are you?” Lin Ren asked with his face still looking in a different direction, ignoring the words of the man.
“I won’t tell you if you don’t look into my eyes and kiss me here,” The man responded straight away, with a hint of disappointment at first, but in the end, his voice contained seduction while pointing at his cheeks.
“Enough of your nonsense, Jaro!”
Before Lin Ren could respond in any way to the man’s statement, a voice filled with authority rang in the area.
The people around Lin Ren suddenly bowed down in whatever direction they were looking at, not daring to see the upcoming man.
“Why stop me, Goro?” The man responded with a hint of anger and irritation in his tone, but he followed the words and moved away from Lin Ren.
The man known as Goro then approached Lin Ren.
After reaching Lin Ren, instead of talking to him, Goro looked toward the woman with her head cracked open. The next moment, a gentle expression appeared in his eyes as he waved his hands. Soon, the woman and the stains of her blood and brain matter disappeared from the place.
“For killing one of our own, you are hereby punished. You could either get hit ten times or a three-month banishment,” Goro then looked at Jaro and expressionlessly asked.
Jaro didn’t answer straight away but made a playful face.
“You have three seconds: choose your punishment, or I will,” Goro responded, still maintaining his expressionless tone.
“three months banishment,” Jaro still didn’t respond, but as the clock to the third second arrived, he whispered, with his voice only audible to him and Goro.
“Since you still haven’t chosen your punishment, I hereby punish you with three hits and five months banishment,” Goro, ignoring Jaro’s whisper, announced.
Jaro couldn’t help but look at Aakesh with a stunned face. A few seconds later, he had no choice but to look down and accept his punishment.
Time flew by.
Goro and Jaro were brothers, with Goro being the only Level 50 in the settlement.
“I owe you one,” Lin Ren suddenly felt his blood running cold as he heard the familiar voice.
It was Jaro, but the tone was entirely different this time. Lin Ren couldn’t help but look in the direction of Jaro leaving. At that moment, Lin Ren suddenly imagined a smirk on Jaro’s face as he looked at Lin Ren.

As Lin Ren was enjoying Panagea, Aakesh was busy with the customers purchasing cultivation arts.
