Chapter 1102: Ryan and the Peacock(2)
"Eh!" Ryan suddenly exclaimed in shock as he felt a movement in her sister's stomach.
The sister and her husband had the same reaction, as they also sensed a burst of energy.
ARGH!
She roared in pain as her stomach suddenly began to expand while an unbearable wave of pain attacked her.
Ryan's expression grew unsightly as seeing his sister in pain triggered past trauma. He gritted his teeth and coldly ordered his brother-in-law to immediately bring the royal doctor.
The man didn't want to leave his wife, but when he saw the budding anger on Ryan's face, he immediately nodded and disappeared from the room.
Only three seconds later, he returned to the room, grabbing the royal doctor by his collar.
The royal doctor was taken aback by the sudden situation. A moment ago, he was half-naked on his bed with his wife.
Whatever complaints he had disappeared when he saw Ryan standing in the room. The doctor forgot everything and focused on the patient.
A warm green erupted from his hands and engulfed Ryan's sister. She slowly calmed down, and soon she fell unconscious.
The bulge kept growing at a rapid rate, and soon it had grown to the same size as the bed. Ryan's sister had become just one part of the bulge and not the source anymore.
Ryan's expression was ugly as he considered terminating the newborn to save his sister. But he controlled himself and didn't do any rash things before hearing the doctor's view.
After a few minutes, when the bulge had grown to cover half the room and the veins had started to stretch to their limits, it finally stopped.
The royal doctor took his hands back, and the green light around the sister disappeared. His face had a relieved smile since the danger had passed. If anything had happened to the sister, the doctor didn't even dare imagine the consequences.
Ryan's brutality was known to the people, and his brother-in-law was no less brutal.
"Your majesty!"
"Sir, chiel!"
The doctor greeted Ryan and the husband one by one with a respectful bow.
"Congratulations. Your majesty, sir chief, her majesty is about to give birth." The doctor immediately added before those cold eyes froze him.
Ryan's expression relaxed, and he breathed a sigh of relief. The husband couldn't help but stumble and heave a relieved sigh as the worst had passed.
If anything happened to her and his unborn child, he didn't even know how he would survive.
He then turned around, and his eyes almost popped out as he saw a gentle look in Ryan's eyes for him for the first time.
Time flew by, and soon hours passed.
The doctor had his entire back wet with sweat while his heart was crazily beating. Every second was like an eternity for him. Whenever Ryan would look at him, he would almost explode in tension.
His heart finally relaxed as a baby's cry rang in the room. The bulge slowly began to decrease, and soon it returned to normal while there were two crying newborns floating in the air.
The royal doctor immediately went ahead and gently picked up the twins. He then went to Ryan, as Ryan's status was the highest in the family and the Empire.
But Ryan stopped the doctor and gestured for him to take the baby to their father first.

Ryan's sister had twins, one nephew, and one niece. As Ryan's sister had eaten a lot of valuable and energy-filled resources, the siblings were born with extremely high talent, while their cultivation was Void Condensation.
The brother and sister could speak from their birth, while their intellect was that of a five year old child.

"Uncle Ryan, why do you hate my father?" Grisha asked Ryan at their naming ceremony.
"You will know when Gianna would get married," Ryan replied, pinching Grisha's nose.
Ryan's sister couldn't help but smile while her husband awkwardly rubbed his nose.
Grisha pouted, trying to run away from Ryan. Gianna, who was running around, chasing the Warrior Peacock, stopped and asked, "Uncle Ryan, what is marriage, and why will I do it?"

"Are you sure you want to battle me?" Oxen asked Ryan.
After completing whatever duties he had left in the Primal Dimension, Ryan decided to ascend, but before that, he wanted to fight against the Void Beasts.
Ryan alone was no match for a Void Beast, but with the help of the Warrior Peacock, he wanted to see his chances.
"Yes,"
Kee-aw!
Ryan responded, and with him, the Warrior Peacock also let out a cry.
"Let's do this," Oxen responded. If it were anyone else, Oxen would have ignored it, but it was Ryan, Aakesh's indirect student.
Ryan and the peacock made their moves in response, as the peacock activated [Flame Strike] and Ryan activated [Thuder Bullet].
Roar!
Oxen let out a deafening roar in response, and it was enough to nullify the attack power of his opponent.
Since he had agreed to battle, Oxen wasn't going to show any mercy. He stomped his hoof in the space and charged.
Ryan immediately activated the [Primal Shield] and the peacock, [Wooden Barrier].
The defensive attacks were like a wall of paper blocking a sea wave. The shield exploded as Oxen slammed into Ryan. The peacock was slightly better as Oxen focused more on Ryan, but it still took the brunt of the attack.
Ryan was knocked hundreds of miles backward, with space cracking along him. When he stopped, his chest had sunk, and he coughed up blood.
Time flew by, and after around two minutes, Ryan gave up. The battle was overwhelmingly won by Oxen.
"Thank you, senior!" Ryan thanked Oxen for the battle. His voice was weak since it would take days for him to recover from this.
"Kee kee… kee-aw!" The Warrior Peacock also thanked Oxen, and at the same time, made a provocative gesture.
Oxen couldn't help but laugh, and he responded, "I'll be waiting for your challenge."
The next moment, a white light covered him, and he disappeared.
"Kee-aw!" The Warrior Peacock informed Ryan and then snuggled into him.
"Yes, we will defeat him one day," Ryan smiled and stroked the peacock's head.

Xi Lu got his turn and was ready to start the summoning.
