Chapter 1222: Close for the Day!
"Store owner, I want to complete the sale," Magnus requested as he reached Aakesh.
Aakesh nodded and took the card from his hands. As he took a look at the beast, the price appeared in his mind.
"You need to pay seventy-five thousand ultimate and one supreme Sacred stone," Aakesh informed Magnus.
The next moment, an alert about the payment appeared in his head. At the same time, the notification of an insufficient balance also rang.
Magnus looked at Martin, who was behind him since the store followed a queue, and Martin didn't try to use his strength to take advantage of Magnus.
Martin understood why Magnus was looking at him, so the next moment, a mountain of ultimate stones appeared in the store. Magnus couldn't help but thank Martin immediately since Martin gave him the total amount, not the remaining sum.
Magnus then stored the amount in the space inside his store card, and the next moment, the balance appeared in his mind. The previous payment alert rang again in his head.
Magnus accepted the alert, and the next moment, the required amount disappeared from his balance. Not long after, Aakesh informed him of his complete ownership of the beast.
Magnus didn't dare stay there for long and immediately left the queue. There was still the skill product left for him to check, but since Martin was there and it was his turn, Magnus stayed there, waiting for his permission.
"Give me one Ultimate Store Card," Martin asked, pushing one ultimate Sacred stone toward Aakesh.
Aakesh nodded, took the stone, and then completed the process of originating a store card. Not long after, a beautiful card flew out of the device into his hand.
Aakesh handed the card to the man and also explained the process to bind the card by blood.
Martin's eyelids suddenly expanded as he saw the needle on the card. He then looked at Aakesh with the same shocked expression.
"How can you not be affected by such a potent element of nihility?" Martin asked. He could see that the needle was not physical material but had materialized due to the intense concentration of the nihility element.
Since there was such a pure and concentrated quantity, it was bound to cause issues. There was a reason the element of nihility was feared so much across the three dimensions. Nothing of any type could exist around it.
"You don't need to know that," Aakesh indifferently answered.
The direct response from Aakesh surprised Martin. He could see that there was something extraordinary about Aakesh, but Aakesh was still a weakling that could be crushed anytime he wanted, and yet there was no sense of respect or fear in his eyes. If there were disdain in Aakesh's eyes, Martin would've understood since there was a figure with unimaginable power behind him. But Aakesh looked at Martin as if he didn't even matter, and it felt uncomfortable
Martin didn't make himself angry over it and calmed down. He was someone who had lived for too long, and such superficial things as respect or other emotions from others outside his race didn't affect him. It was only that it happened on the spur of the moment.

"We can make a trade," Martin still didn't give up on the answer since it was something that could positively influence his strength and the race.
"Only the products are available for sale," Aakesh answered, and then suddenly pointed at the rule board about not bargaining or arguing with the store owner.
Martin stopped asking any questions once Aakesh pointed at the rule board. He then focused on the store card in his hands.
He tried to study it, but nothing he tried worked, and all he got was a waste of time. But since the card would be with him forever, Martin didn't feel disappointed. He then placed his finger on the tiny needle.
He didn't even have to push his finger, but the needle automatically pricked his skin. Martin felt an unbearable pain for that instant, but it disappeared as quickly as it had appeared.
Martin then looked at his finger, and when he saw that it had healed, he breathed a sigh of relief. He had seen with his own eyes the dangerous effect of the element of nihility on an injury. It not only stopped any healing from happening, but it also kept aggravating the injury.
He then surveyed his blood vessels, and only when he was confident of the absence of even a tiny hint of nihility element there did he stop.
Others might feel the situation was a joke if they knew someone with peak cultivation was acting like that when even the Divine Transformation customer wouldn't act like that, but that was the curse of strength and knowledge. The more the cultivators grew in strength and knowledge, the more they felt awe toward even the basic laws of the Multiverse, let alone a supreme element like nihility.
Martin didn't have much time to think over that, as a light similar in color to his blood engulfed the card, and when it disappeared, the store card had taken on that color appearance.
At the same time, Martin felt the card in his sea of consciousness. Giving a try, Martin looked at the card, but he was still met with failure, not understanding anything about the card.
Martin then found a new piece of knowledge, informing him of the abilities of the store card. It was similar to what Martin had heard from Magnus, and once it was over, he passed the beast card to Aakesh.
"Complete the purchase," Martin said, as he had primarily approached Aakesh to complete the sale.
His battle with the Ferocious Crocodile wasn't very challenging, as he was someone who was a Sacred Creator. Even though he had spent the majority of his life in deep sleep, he was still strong. Martin had a resounding victory in the fight.
"You need to pay one hundred seventy-five thousand ultimate and one higher Sacred stone," Aakesh informed Martin as the cost appeared in his head.
Time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.
The sunset arrived in Thorr and its nearby cities, and with it, the time to close the store likewise.
