Chapter 1324: Selecting the Candidate(11)
[Skill: Relentless Shield

Training Time: Two Days.]
The screen that was in front of Phily surprised him. He couldn't help but rub his eyes and then look at the screen again.
Even though the content on the screen had already been engraved in his mind, it was something Phily couldn't believe.
After Phily found that he wasn't in an illusion and the things in front of him were real, his jaw almost dropped to the ground.
Phily also noticed there was something wrong going on with him. He could accept a 78% compatibility, but seeing him have a compatibility of more than ninety percent was a joke. That kind of compatibility made him stand on the same level as elemental creatures.
Phily would rather believe that he was sleeping and that all of that was a dream than believe what he saw on the screen.
Phily blamed the situation on the semi-pillar and decided to experience the skill again.
The next moment, his consciousness returned to the store. He immediately focused on the screen and shook in fright when he saw the same content there.
Phily immediately tried to sense himself and find out if someone was hiding in his soul. Soon after, a wave of fear hit him. Philly's intuition warned him there was something wrong with his subconscious, as he could feel something was hidden from him. He tried to find out what it was, but all his attempts turned out to be futile. He also had to stop as he got a reaction, and that was a sense of life-threatening danger.
Phily had no idea what would happen to him if he continued trying to see through the hidden part, but he didn't want to test that.
There must be something that could cause such a change in him, and he could think of nothing other than the dream he saw two days ago.
When he found nothing to solve the issue, Phily decided to push the thought deep in his heart. As for asking others for help, Phily didn't trust anyone enough.
Something that could make his talent explode so outrageously couldn't be an ordinary item. Phily didn't want to put his life in danger by becoming a treasure in the eyes of the strong.
Phily also heaved a sigh of relief that the store owner didn't notice anything wrong. He then took several deep breaths and calmed his heart down.
Phily then left the queue and walked toward the exit. As Phily was leaving, he almost crashed into a customer.

Phily's face turned pale, and he immediately hurried outside. When the man saw Phily in such a hurry, a cunning smile spread across the man's face, but when he remembered where he was, the smile disappeared, and he stopped thinking about the man. He was not going to risk his entry into the store for a treasure whose worth he did not know.
Phily noticed how weird he was acting but could do nothing to stop it. Everyone in the store seemed like a thief to him.
While waiting for his turn to complete the sale, Phily acted like he was on the lookout. And as soon as it was his turn and he was greeted with that indifferent stare, he stopped acting weirdly. His heart completely calmed down for some reason.
Aakesh noticed the change in the man but didn't care, so he ignored it. Aakesh couldn't see the peculiarity in Phily's body since he wasn't in the habit of looking through the customer's subconscious.
Aakesh could easily do it without the customer's knowledge with the help of the system, but since a task like that wasn't befitting of a store owner, he didn't try it.
"Store owner, I want to buy these two skills," Phily requested of Aakesh, passing the two skill cards to him.
Aakesh nodded and took the card. With a quick glance, the sale details appeared in his mind. Fortunately for Phily, the experience data was private, and Aakesh would only know after asking the system about it.
"You need to pay one thousand five hundred and eighteen higher Sacred stones." Aakesh noticed that Phily had experienced the [Relentless Shield] twice but had the same uncaring response as earlier, and he expressionlessly informed Phily, returning the two cards to him.
Phily breathed a sigh of relief when he found Aakesh didn't notice his abnormally high compatibility with the skills. The concept of privacy was a joke in the world he lived in.
He then took out the required sum from his space ring and handed it to Aakesh. Once the payment was complete, Aakesh told him of the easy process of how to absorb the information inside the card.
Even though Phily was afraid in his heart of what had caused that kind of change in him, Phily decided against leaving the store.
Whatever the dream might be, one thing he was certain of was that the store would help him turn his destiny into a better path. He couldn't lose that opportunity because he was afraid.
Thinking like that, he asked questions related to beasts from Aakesh since he also wanted to buy a beast for himself.
Once Phily had gotten all his answers, he thanked Aakesh and walked toward the room as pointed out by Aakesh.
The crowd in the beast room was smaller than the one in the skill room, but it was still a sizeable gathering.
Numerous murals engraved across the walls in the room greeted his sight. Two majestic pillars were waiting for him. Since the store owner had already informed him of the details of the two pillars, he knew what pillar was his target.
Even though Phily had found that his talent had exploded, he needed it to be hidden. The outrageous explosion of talent for a several million-year-old character in a barren area would inevitably alert the figures from whom he wished to keep it hidden. So the situation of less money was going to be there for him for a while.
Having considered that, Phily had no trouble making his decision.
