Chapter 1441: Dream Goliath(16)

After waiting for some time, it was finally her turn. Mina didn't forget to stare at the man leaving. Since there was no sense of threat in her eyes, the system didn't act.

The hair rose all over the man's body when he was met with that chilly stare from the woman behind her. The man didn't try to fight and simply moved away since he sensed the woman was crazy. He instead immersed himself in the excitement of the beast he was about to own once he won the taming battle.

"Fuck!"

Mina cursed in anger and pressed the button, initiating the sixth round of summoning.

During the previous five rounds, her fortune had been wavering between legendary and divine quality beasts. She could accept divine quality, but the weak beasts that came with it were unacceptable to her.

After she pressed the button, '5' appeared on top of the screen, and the square section began to rotate. It kept on for five seconds, and then it stopped.

Following that, a beast Mina had never seen or heard of appeared on the screen.

Mina's eyes lit up, and she couldn't help but comment, "Finally something uglier than me."

Mina didn't believe that she had so many arguments against the Phantom Wolf (summoned on the second try) because of its stunning appearance.

Mina rubbed her hands in anticipation of the beast's abilities. The next moment, the card formed out of nowhere and flew into her hands. She wanted it to have powerful strength, so she and a beast uglier than her would dominate the scene.

Mina had never forgotten the bullying she had received for her appearance.

The upper half of the card contained an illustration of the beast. It was a nightmarish behemoth, with a twisted, colossal form warped by the dark energies of dreams and illusions. Its skin, if it could be even called that, was a shifting mass of shadows and ephemeral worms. Nightmarish patterns rippled across its monstrous body, making it terrifying to look at.

The creature's eyes glowed with an eerie, hypnotic light, each one a swirling vortex of rotten colors. Obsidian-like twisted spikes protruded from its form, creating an unsettling silhouette. Its limbs were elongated with claws that seemed to phase in and out of reality.

Its enormous maw was a nightmarish opening, right out of a horror story. The two curved horns above its head had a pitch-black tip with a mixture of eerie green in it. All of these characteristics combined to form an ugly creature that Mina fell in love with.

After reading the details on the card, Mina's adoration for the beast grew to new heights. Anyway, it had nothing to do with its ugly appearance.

Since she adored the beast, she decided to choose it as her subordinate. She then moved away from the pillar and joined the line in front of the square device.

All the anger and frustration Mina had in her heart disappeared after getting the Dream Goliath, so she happily joined the line and waited for his turn.

"I am ugly, you are uglier. Two ugly guys will form a gang and beat beautiful guys…"

Mina began to join random words and sing them like a song. The man in front of her winced and shuddered.

Time flew by, and soon it was her turn. She hadn't stopped her singing for a moment, cringing at all those ahead of her in the line.

If not for the long waiting time, many would have allowed Mina to go first and leave the room.

"I will first beat you and make you call me grandma," Mina mumbled, looking at the beast card, and she then put it in the card compartment. She then placed her right hand in the hand section.

The next moment, the one in the store had her eyes turned blank, and her consciousness was in a different environment.

She stood in a fortress that phased in and out rapidly, existing in both virtual and physical reality at once.
