"Hello everyone. Today, we are here to witness the birth of a new era in the history of browsers. The Internet had changed how we communicate but how to make it more accessible? How to make sure the internet is being used in every home by everyone? How to make the whole process just easier?
Ladies and gentlemen, I present you with the first browser that you can use via a simple mouse. No need for coding. No expert knowledge is required to surf the web.
Internet is now for everyone!"
Sunny showcased a computer screen via the projector in the grand meeting room in the hotel. In the beginning, the entertainment journalist and paparazzi had no idea what Sunny was speaking but when Sunny clicked on the Rocket icon, they heard a big gasp and found that their peers from the education and business section went crazy!
Sunny showed them a simple, point-to-use browser with the ability to search simple terms, open multi-tabs and showed images along with text on the same web pages.
Tim Berners Lee could not contain his excitement and raised his hand first for the question. Sunny had no option but to halt his presentation to allow him to ask his query.
"Yes, Mr Tim? Everyone, this is our guest of honour, Tim Berners Lee, also known as the Father of the World Wide Web.
Please, Tim, go ahead. Ask you questions." Sunny knew that if anyone had more ideas and knew about the implications of a browser, only Tim could stand in the front.
"Does this browser work on Windows and Mac? Or is this only for Linux?" Lee asked the most important question that was bugging him.
"It supports all platforms. We have made sure it is stable and as of now, we are yet to discover any major bugs."
Sunny replied and Tim's face had a huge smile.
He finally found a browser that could popularise the internet among the masses.
Tim sat down on his seat, but the media surrounded him and clicked pictures and asked a few questions.
However, after the showcase of the browser and live demo to entertainment journalists who finally got the gist of it, there was one question that made the venue silent.
"Mr Sunny, is the browser free or are you going to charge for it?" One of the journalists asked.
Sunny had never thought deeply about it before but looking at the faces of the journalists and Tim, Sunny finally understood the key point. No software is provided for free at this point in time and a smile blossomed on his face.
"It's free. Now and forever. Anyone can simply download this browser from the website - www. rovernet.com and use it forever. Not only that, in future, we will publish the updates and people can simply click the update button to make sure that have the latest version of the browser."
Sunny finished his answer and this time more journalists went crazy. Tim felt Sunny was similar to him. Someone who cared more about making things accessible to the public rather than running after money.
Sunny and Tim had a meeting and a small party after the press meet and a storm took over the American Computer world.

Bill Gates was sitting in his office and exploring the newly launched browser - 'Rocket'. It was fairly simple, easy to use and most importantly it ran perfectly fine on windows.
He could see the future. This browser will instantly grab the huge market in the browser world and unless someone makes a better browser or develop something more revolutionary, they would basically own the market.
"Bill, you see the potential in this, right?" Paul Allen who was sitting opposite him asked in a serious tone.
"I do. I can understand what you are saying Paul but frankly, tell me, how much time and money do we need to invest in developing our own graphic-based browsers to make them an industry standard?"

Bill asked Paul and Bill knew Paul Allen must have an idea about this.
"It will take a minimum of 2-3 years and will need a lot of funding at this stage," Paul replied dejectedly.
"Then let's wait. Let's wait for others to come and fight the battle for us. Instead of developing one from scratch, it's better to buy one that loses the competition against this Rocket Browser and we can then develop it further in-house." Bill finally decided on the future of their own browser in this simple discussion.

Bill Gates was right. In the next month, American Software developers were boiling and it seemed as if all of them would develop their own browsers but no one came close to launching anything this year.
By November 1992, Rover Pictures, Rover Animation Studios, and finally Rover Net, three companies were established by Sunny and apart from Rover Net that was running in losses, all of them were massively profitable.
Only in 92, did Pokemon give them a profit of more than 400 million. And it was still bringing in more money as they keep dubbing it and selling it to new countries. Nintendo finally got the license of Pokemon and the entire company was busy developing a Pokemon game for Christmas release.
Capcom was making millions of dollars with its release of Street Fighter 2 and Nintendo needed a fighting game that could be as popular as Street Fighter 2 to make sure their Game Boy remains dominant in the home system.
However, Sunny only signed a one-year license deal with them as he wanted to make sure he always had the bargaining rights.

While Sunny and Rover Pictures enjoyed a great success from Pokémon, Disney the true animation giant was ready to go out and claim its title of animation studio back.
From 1st Nov. 1992, Sunny found posters of their new movie, Aladdin, all around LA.
Not only posters, Radios, News Channels and a Street parade was all part of their promotion and Disney was not leaving any stone unturned.
Aladdin was a big budget animation movie, filled with beautiful music and great songs. Sunny himself came along with Alicia to watch this movie.
The movie was released on November 13 to a grand opening of 1,140 theatres and it was a sold-out scenario in major theatres.
The box office collection on the first day was as high as 19.2 million and on weekends, the number soared much higher.
"Kenneth, get the guys ready to release Pokémon back-to-back episodes. Start a day before Thanksgiving and carry it till the new year.
Also, make sure it is re-broadcasted in the afternoon.
I want to make sure when kids go to watch Aladdin, they would feel it would be better to watch Pikachu again."
Sunny was ready to put brakes on the flying carpet of Aladdin, but he had no idea how successful his plans will be in long run.
On November 15th, Kids in America and Canada found Pokémon would release back-to-back ( 50 min ) episodes and there would be a rerun at noon the next day.
Kids went crazy with this news and the sale of Pokémon cards, Pokémon toys and other peripherals picked the market again.
It is said that Disney president Michael Eisner smashed his favourite crystal glass on that day.
