[3rd Person POV]
It has been quite a few months since Erika has joined the academy. And so far, she is enjoying it to the best of her ability and further impressing the general staff as they liked her more and more as she continued to give out reasonable responses, and also given a hard question in one of her lectures and she answered without hesitation.
"Will you follow the orders of the Kaiser to the letter?" The instructor asked a question to the classroom and most people answered with generic answers such as
"Yes absolutely!"
"Yes, without questions"
"Isn't it natural? He is the Kaiser."
"Not following orders is a death sentence."
But the instructor was looking at Erika who was silent and asked
"What about you Erika?" The instructor inquired.
Erika stood up and responded immediately. "I would not completely follow the Kaiser's will and order if he or she doesn't show me the qualities of leading the nation." She said, which made people gasp in horror and some even angry at the notion of her, a noble. Defying the Kaiser.
But Erika was unfazed and just stared down the instructor, who was also surprised that she answered so quickly, and with decisiveness as well.
So the instructor just said
"Mhm. You're correct on that assumption. You may sit down."
Once again the whole class was shocked as Erika got off scot free and one of the noble student couldn't take anymore and shouted
"Shouldn't she be expelled for saying those words to the Kaiser?"
The noble student said, as he was trying hard not to walk in front of Erika and punch her for saying those words but his friends held him back by saying it's not worth it. as he just wanted to vindicate Erika for not being loyal to the Kaiser.
The instructor looked at the student and said these words that shut him up.
"Indeed. But she's entitled to her own opinions and beliefs. She also has the passion and patriotism of a German soldier. So I'll forget your…blunder Erika. Is that understood?"
The instructor glanced at Erika for confirmation, to which Erika said "Yes instructor." The student who shouted scoffed and sat down. Still pissed at Erika but nevertheless, admire her sense of courage at least.
After a series of lectures, Visha and Erika continued on to do their required courses and finally went to the training grounds to test their officers' limits in exercises.
The training requires an officer that has good stamina, endurance, strategy mindset, and split second decisions in a heated moment. Officers are also required to test their marksmanship and trigger discipline to weed out the trigger happy officers for future lectures to sort out.
After what seemed hours of training, they finally finished with a lot of them exhausted including Erika and Visha. But for Erika, she is used to it as she easily recovered her lost energy with a light rest, which surprised the instructor and wrote down that she is 'A stamina demoness' and that she recovers fairly quickly after a strenuous exercise or an activity which amazed the instructor and further gave her more tasks than a normal student would and she achieved them, although with some troubles along the way. But she achieved it as a mature officer would.
She will go far and I hope she'll achieve greatness when she graduates. As one instructor muttered as he continued to strictly lecture the students.

Berlin, Germany
[3rd Person POV]
It has been a few months, but felt like months has passed as tensions in Europe keep rising as more small wars have popped up including the Italian-Ottoman War which as predicted by Erika, Italy has launched an attack on Tripolitania but successfully held due to us having a garrison, as well as the Dodecanese islands as the Italian navy repeatedly bombarded it but the garrisoned unit Erika put there held it long enough for the Italian King and the Kaiser to order a ceasefire and discuss it under closed doors.
Erika was scared that she'll lose the huge investments she has made into these territories and almost wished she had someone inside the office of the Kaiser to hear what they're discussing about.
But after 3 hours, both sides came to a conclusion that the italians will pay for the damages dealt to the German owned lands and territories in exchange the italians will be compensated with money and a claim to the Tripolitania lands in the next 20 years.
Which doesn't bode well with Erika as she felt that this clause will be used fairly soon in the future as another blunder from the Kaiser also states that half of Tripolitania will be handed over to the Italians.
Which pissed me off, as the Kaiser didn't inform me of this and only confirmed it now after the treaty was signed.
I was only compensated with another title and a guaranteed promotion, which to be frank, wasn't enough to justify half of Tripolitania being owned by the Italians now.
The title was of the following:
Duchess of Dodecanese Islands
Countess of Tripolitania
And a compensation of a large sum of reichsmark
And lastly, a guaranteed promotion Major since I would get a double promotion from graduation and the promise of the Kaiser.
It was a good deal for anyone else, but for me the amount of money I lost wouldn't even begin to fathom my utter flabbergasted expression as the treaty was just an insult frankly to my face but I chose to ignore it as I still owned the property of the land somewhat, but I hated the prospect of having to pay the italians oil in the future when it's discovered. Which left butterflies in my stomach as I concentrated on the lectures' mock battles.
And so the lectures continued with her spreading her influence slowly but solidly into the halls of the academy.
She already has recruited 20 potential officers to her society, including Visha, who fanatically by now has joined as she realized she would reach far greater heights if she's with me.
Although my rise to power inside the academy was almost smooth sailing, I always encountered arrogant and bad nobles who are the equivalent of a rotten food that doesn't die.
Erika knows she has shut them up, but they'll make their move if she makes mistakes, which she rarely does, but she is only human and a 12 year old child at that. But she hoped to see new potentials within the new graduates that will graduate with her in 3 years. Which she hoped they don't disappoint as she'll weed out the good and bad apples of the German empire and start her rise to power once the great war ends with us being defeated as a necessary outcome.
She knew many lives would be lost, but it's for the goal of forming a greater Germany that is desperate, and angry enough to be lead by her and with her, she would promise salvation, revenge, and even hope and joy to the people suffering.
And for that, she would do anything to make it happen. Anything to go far that would achieve her goals. But sometimes her goals are sometimes interpreted differently by her subordinates and the society under her and frantically slightly or more likely largely changed it to make her even more of a person who's saved Germany, to being a goddess who has descended to save Germany and give salvation and no mercy to her enemies.
Which quite frankly, terrified Erika once she found out in 1925. She was too late to change it, and only accepted her fate as one time she would be named Führerin already or even worse, the Goddess Empress of Germany. Which Erika hoped wasn't a reference to Warhammer…
God I love and hate misunderstandings…god help me I'm suffering from these people's fanatical views and love…she stated in one of her memoirs.
