Yuan Miaomiao looked into Lu Jia’er’s eyes for a second, gracefully stood up and smiled at Lu Jia’er. “Professor Lu, I have met you again?”
“Are the three of us going to have dinner together?” Lu Jia’er smiled at her and then asked.
“No, I just came here with my parents for dinner, so I took your seat for a moment!” Yuan Miaomiao smiled happily and then pointed to the table where her parents were sitting.
Lu Jia’er looked in the direction in which she pointed, the senior intellectual couple smiled at them, and Yuan Miaomiao returned the seat to Lu Jia’er. “Brother Xiangdong and Professor Lu, I will leave you two alone!”
Jin Xiang nodded slightly. After Yuan Miaomiao left, he walked to Lu Jia’er’s side and helped her pull out the chair. Lu Jia’er sat down.
After Jin Xiangdong was seated, he handed the menu to Lu Jia’er. Lu Jia’er browsed through the menu and said casually, “You two sure had a good time!”
“Miaomiao just asked me some questions!” Jin Xiang’s explained in an understated manner.
On hearing his words, Lu Jia’er moved her gaze from the menu to the face of Jin Xiangdong, but quickly recovered, she replied, “Oh!”
“Are you jealous?” Jin Xiangdong glanced at her with meaningful eyes.
“Of what?” Lu Jia’er looked at the menu and replied.
“Your expression has betrayed you!” Jin Xiangdong lifted his lips and smiled.
“I didn’t expect that you were also a psychologist.” Lu Jia’er glanced at Jin Xiangdong and joked.
“Set meal A!” Lu Jia’er said sideways to the waiter who stood by the table as they waited for her to order, while Jin Xiangdong frowned slightly.

“Okay, please wait a moment!” The waiter left, and Lu Jia’er looked at the face of Jin Xiangdong. “Did she just express her affection for you?”
“I declined it!” Jin Xiangdong’s eyes gleamed with surprise before he answered frankly.
Lu Jia’er’s lips lifted and she smiled. Yuan Miaomiao’s appearance, family and learning were absolutely impeccable, most importantly, she was young and lovely. This was a girl that men couldn’t reject.
“She is actually pretty good!” Lu Jia’er said.
“I agree!” Jin Xiangdong admitted.
Lu Jia’er frowned slightly and looked at him with interest. “If I didn’t chase you, would you accept her?”
“Time cannot be reversed. This assumption does not hold.” Jin Xiangdong gazed at her eyes and pretended to be thinking.
“I’d rather time be reversed!” stroking her hair, Lu Jia’er’s smile grew bigger, and she seemed satisfied with his reply.
“Why?” asked Jin Xiangdong.
“I’d rather I hadn’t met you!” Lu Jia’er smiled and replied.
“… ” Jin Xiangdong showed a doubtful expression and it seemed that he was amazed at her answer.
Lu Jia’er glanced at him. Before she spoke, she blushed then paused for a few seconds and she finally said, “Since the day I met you, my heart has no longer been mine!”
On hearing Lu Jiaer’s confession of love, Jin Xiangdong beamed joyfully. He looked at Lu Jiaer’s shy look with his deep eyes, which gleamed with soft light. “It seems to be lyrics?”
“Have you heard the song?” Lu Jia’er’s smile froze.
“Just my guess!” Jin Xiangdong’s lips slightly lifted.
