Chapter 70: Himiyama-sensei’s honey class

Posted on September 13, 2021by Soafp

“…… I see.” (Yuki)

I carefully folded the paper I had finished reading and put it back into the envelope.

The thoughts that were written in the letter. It had been locked away without being opened. For years and years. The feelings that were not sublimated on that day have not faded away, and she, Himiyama-san, has been trapped in the prison of that time.

If you ask me, there is a vague resemblance. A memory that I had long forgotten. One of those boring episodes from the past. But I finally realized that it had been tormenting her like a curse. For me, it was just a normal thing, but for Himiyama-san, it was not.

“I’m sorry!” (Yuki)

I bowed my head. That’s all I can do. The vast amount of time she had wasted. The days she had spent working towards her dream. The hopes she had. The ideals she had held up. It was undoubtedly me who had trampled on all of them. There was no excuse for it.

“Stop it, Yukito-kun. I’m the one who needs to apologize. I thought it might be better if I just left it at that. I thought it might be better if I could be friends with you, who remained oblivious. But I knew I couldn’t move forward like this…….” (Himiyama)

Himiyama-san bows her head deeply and profoundly. A vague memory. That day, I didn’t accept the letter that Himiyama-san presented to me like this.

It wasn’t for any major reason. I didn’t care about the contents of the letter, and I didn’t think it would change anything. She was leaving the school anyway. I had no interest in her.

But it was different. The future of Himiyama-san would certainly have changed if I had accepted it. I was nothing more than a DV b*****d who had tied her up in the past and kept her in bondage.

“If I had accepted this, your dream would have come true and you would have become a teacher by now, right?” (Yuki)

“That’s not true! I think I would have ended up making a different mistake somewhere back then. I couldn’t bridge the gap between reality and ideal, and I was hurting someone. The only person I ended up hurting was Yukito-kun.” (Himiyama)

“But if you hadn’t met me, none of this would have happened…….” (Yuki)

“I’m glad to be back with you. I consider myself lucky more than anything……. This is the future I have chosen. So don’t say it like that. There’s nothing for you to worry about, Yukito-kun.” (Himiyama)

“…… Is that so?” (Yuki)

“I’m really sorry. I didn’t believe in you at the time. If I had done the right thing, I’m sure no one would have been hurt. Well, that’s enough of the sad stories!” (Himiyama)

To change the atmosphere, Himiyama-san acted cheerfully.

I was contacted by Himiyama-san and came to a rental conference room. She called me up and said she wanted to practice before working as a tutor.

“What am I supposed to do?” (Yuki)

“The lessons are aimed at elementary and junior high school students, so I understand that you’ll be bored, but you’ll be playing the role of a student.” (Himiyama)

“I’ve missed your outfit.” (Yuki)

“I couldn’t get rid of ……. There must have been some regrets. But I felt like I wanted to start all over again.” (Himiyama)

As she said this, I could see that her hands were trembling slightly as she stood in front of the whiteboard. It could be fear or nervousness. Maybe both. Himiyama-san is trying to regain her pride in front of me, the source of what made her so. She is wearing the same fresh suit she wore that day.

If that’s the case, there’s nothing I can do about it……. With this in mind, I spoke lightly as usual to relieve the tension and to shake off the fear.

“Isn’t it Patsun Patsun?” (Yuki) [TL: Most of the time it means that the dress size is too small and it’s tough.]

“Ufufufu. Are you trying to tell me I’m fat? It can’t be helped. It’s been a long time. My body shape is getting worse, and I’m still forcing myself to wear this. Just for today.” (Himiyama)

“I’m having trouble keeping my eyes open.” (Yuki)

“Oh, you’re a troubling student. Shall we begin?” (Himiyama)

The atmosphere relaxed and I silently took Himiyama-san’s class. The content was simple and basic, but it was good to review like this once in a while. When I was concentrating, I saw an indescribably annoyed expression on Himiyama-san’s face.

“……Uhhmm Yukito-kun.” (Himiyama)

“Yes?” (Yuki)

“It’s very nice that you’re such a serious student, but it makes me nervous when you’re so serious that you don’t talk. And if it goes too smoothly, it’s not good practice.” (Himiyama)

“I see. That’s true.” (Yuki)

It’s only natural when you think about it. Not everyone is so quiet. We’re going to be dealing with a lot of different types of students, and some of them may have troublesome personalities. This is no way for Himiyama-san to practice. What she needs is the ability to act.

“I understand. I’ll give it a try. Student Contrast: [Annoying Students]” (Yuki)

“What’s the matter with you suddenly talking like a comedian?” (Himiyama)

“Yeah yeah! Do you have a boyfriend? Are you free now? If so, do you want to have tea? Don’t they say that nowadays? Ghehehehe. Tell me your three sizes! Ghehehehe.” (Yuki)

“You’ve changed so quickly.” (Himiyama)

“I mean, what’s the use of studying anything at all? You won’t be using factorization when you go out into the world. I want to be a rapper in the future.” (Yuki)

“You’re so annoying, Yukito-kun.” (Himiyama)

“YO! YO!” (Yuki)

You are reading story The Girls Who Traumatized Me Keep Glancing at Me, but Alas, It’s Too Late (WN) at novel35.com

I had turned into an annoying junior high school student. The world is tough. Sometimes you may encounter annoying students. If she can’t get through these situations, I will be worried about her future.

“Fufu…fufufu… That’s right. If you want to know about me so badly, let’s have a special health and physical education class today. Fufufufufu” (Himiyama)

“Huh?” (Yuki)

“I could have told you any time you wanted to know.” (Himiyama)

“No, wait, eh? (Yuki)

“Let’s have a private lesson, shall we?” (Himiyama)

“This was a trap!” (Yuki)

Yukito Kokonoe’s intelligence had increased.▲

Yukito Kokonoe’s physical strength has decreased.▼

Yukito Kokonoe’s bulge has increased.▲

“What is this bulge!” (Yuki)

“Do you mean this thing?” (Himiyama)

“N-no touching!” (Yuki)

Hahahaha …… This place is hell. It’s a hellhole. I’ve been taught a lot of things secretly in health class. I can’t say what it is, but it’s amazing …….

 Then I remembered something.

“Speaking of which, I met your ex-fiancé a while ago.” (Yuki)

“By ex-fiancé, do you mean…… Mikiya-san?” (Himiyama)

“Yes. We stayed at the Ryokan Umibara on a family vacation.” (Yuki)

“Is that so? Coincidence is a scary thing. What did Mikiya-san say to you?” (Himiyama)

I’m relieved that he’s not the one having an affair, but come to think of it, I think he said something about wanting my cooperation. But I’m afraid to tell that to Himiyama-san. It might make things worse. If Himiyama-san knew that he asked me to help him, she would be very angry.

 But…

If there are any regrets, misunderstandings or miscommunications. I wanted her to move forward, just as she did today to overcome the past.

“He said he wanted to meet and talk again. I interrupted him last time.” (Yuki)

“I can’t believe he would talk to an unrelated person like that……” (Himiyama)

“We were just making small talk.” (Yuki)

“Are you okay? Are you sure you’re not being used? I don’t know about him, but his mother-in-law is a tough woman.” (Himiyama)

“It’s okay, I haven’t seen her. It’s not my place to interfere, but why don’t you face it properly?” (Yuki)

“It’s really nothing, okay? It’s over and done with, and I don’t have any regrets.” (Himiyama)

“Please.” (Yuki)

I’ve twisted Himiyama-san’s destiny. This was a selfish way of atoning for my sins. If she could be happy, if there was something she could get back, I wanted her to reach out to me.

“Yukito-kun……. Haa. I understand. I’ll just talk to him.” (Himiyama)

“Thank you very much!” (Yuki)

“You really are a difficult student.” (Himiyama)

The door opened with a bang. It was Sanjoji-sensei who walked in.

“Misaki-san, it’s been a while. –What are you guys doing?!” (Sanjoji)

“It’s a secret private lesson. Ghehehehehehe.” (Yuki)

“Yukito-kun?!” (Himiyama)

“T-This is unacceptable!” (Sanjoji)

After this, Sanjoji-sensei lectured me at length, but it seems that Himiyama-san and Sanjoji-sensei are now close friends. She told me that when she heard that Himiyama-san was going to resume her career as a tutor, she came to support her.

When I think about it, I’ve caused tremendous hardship not only to Himiyama-san, but also to Sanjoji-sensei. And that’s not all. I’ve always been a nuisance to the people around me.

–It was as if my existence was bringing misfortune.
