After Takei and Akari escaped the bouncy house massacre, they decided to head towards the painting area that was set up as a form of entertainment.

Takei had managed to find someone that would paint portraits for a decent rate as an entertainer for the party.

As he approached the area where the portraits were being done, he spotted the three girls in his friend group getting a portrait done by the very artist himself.

"Do you think I could ever be an artist?" Takei randomly asked.

"Probably not since you're one of those people who don't really care for the finer details, but try your best! I'll root for you~" Akari optimistically replied.

"That doesn't make me feel any better..."

Although Akari tried to make him feel better, it felt like she was mostly insulting him at the same time.

I have no allies in this world...

Now that his dreams of being an artist were crushed, Takei could only leave it up to the professionals now.

"Oooh, it's Takeichi and Akarin! Are you two here to get a portrait as well?" Helena excitedly asked.

From the looks of it, the three girls were almost done with getting their portrait drawn by the artist working the booth.

"Yeah, I was thinking of getting a portrait to hang up in my room," Takei answered. "I would love to wake up and see Akari first thing in the morning."

Rikka glared at him with dead fish eyes. "Pervert..."

"T-That's not what he meant!" Arisa tried to defend him. "At least, I think so..."

Takei truly did not have any dirty intentions with a picture of Akari in his room, but it was easy to misunderstand due to how lovey-dovey they were with each other.

"I want one in my room as well for the same reasons..." Akari gently smiled. "I think waking up to a picture of Takei in the morning would be able to give me a whole day's worth of energy!"

Akari cutely pumped her fists, which resulted in Takei letting loose a lazy smile due to her overwhelming cuteness.

"Definitely a pervert," Rikka said without a single doubt after having seen Takei's weird expression.

As the group kept on with their bantering, the artist finished the portrait and handed it to the three girls. "I did my best for you three gorgeous ladies."

Only one glance at the portrait was needed for a consensus to be made.

"Oh, wow! Takeichi, you are going to be one happy camper."

"All three of us look so realistic and beautiful..."

"I'm gonna save this picture to my smartphone!"

Helena, Rikka, and Arisa were beyond overjoyed to see how the portrait had turned out.

""Thank you!"" The three of them thanked the artist.

Once their portrait was finished, Takei and Akari were next in line to get their portrait done.

"Will the madam please sit down on the stool while the sir stands next to her?" The artist asked them.

Doing as instructed, Akari sat down on the wooden stool that was provided and Takei stood next to her with a hand on her shoulder.

"Ah, perfect. What a lovely couple! I'll give this portrait 120% of my effort!" The artist excitedly stated.

Takei was taken aback to see such passion come from the artist. "T-Thank you? Please don't push yourself."

He was worried that the artist would try too hard and hurt himself, so Takei made sure to tell the artist to take care of himself.

"Alright, I got it!" The artist completely ignored Takei's suggestion. "Stand still like that for five minutes and I'll be finished."

A detailed portrait in five minutes? Oi, is this guy a demon?

Takei had seen how detailed the artist was at drawing portraits since he had seen the portrait that belonged to the three girls, but there was no way a portrait of that magnitude could be done in a measly five minutes.

It's just not possible.

Approximately five minutes later...

"I finished! Please take a look and give me your thoughts!" The author flipped the canvas and showed the pair the fruits of his labor.

It's possible.

Takei inspected the portrait as soon as the artist had finished, and he concluded that the work was a masterpiece.

The two of them were drawn beautifully without any mistakes to point out and there was a certain sense of just pure wonder at looking at the painting.

Akari was drawn with an ephemeral beauty, while Takei was drawn as a stunningly dashing man.

The picture was just incredibly perfect and too refined for something that was whipped up in five minutes.

"You aren't a famous artist pretending to be bad at drawing, right? This drawing is just too spectacular to be the work of an amateur..." Takei gasped as he continued to stare at the picture.

"Haha, thanks for the compliment. I feel like I get possessed by the god of art when I feel passionate about drawing, so it may have to do with that," The artist replied.

Akari was very happy about the portrait just like Takei, but she had an awkward look on her face when the artist said something extremely outlandish.

"This guy's definitely possessed by a demon," Akari whispered to Takei.

"No doubt."

Even if the artist was being possessed by a supernatural entity, Takei could care less since the portrait was a complete success.

"Thanks for everything. I hope you enjoy the party," Takei thanked him.

Akari thanked the artist as well. "You're doing god's work. Thank you so much!"

"Aw shucks, you guys are making me blush..." The artist awkwardly scratched his head.

Once both of them thanked the artist, Takei and Akari decided to head to Takei's room real quick to hang up the portrait.

After doing a battle of rock, paper, scissors, Akari ended up losing so she had to yield the portrait to Takei.

Not that it mattered though since Akari spent most of her time in his room anyways.

"There we go," Takei hung the portrait up in front of his bed so that he could wake up and see it first thing in the morning. "How does it look?"

"Perfect, just perfect." Akari warmly smiled as she looked at the portrait.

Takei was thoroughly happy with how the portrait had turned out, so he couldn't stop smiling as a result of that.

What a successful party so far. I couldn't be happier.

Glancing at the time on his watch, Takei realized that the final event of the extravaganza was about to happen.

Let's end tonight off with a bang!
