Glory Capital had been practicing in the ruins of Solarsal for a week. Thirty of their Elite Groups had on average increased their level by one and a half. This was twice as fast as most other players that were farming for their level.
After Lu Li left, they felt uneasy and continued reporting the situation to Sorrowless.
“Boss, someone almost came in.”
Sorrowless was casting Blizzard on a group of Nagas. Damage values were continuously appearing over the monsters’ heads and many of them were critical hits. As the monsters fell, more were funnelled towards him.
He was almost at level 57 and was about to enter the top 5 of the Level Rankings.
The players responsible for pulling the monsters and protecting them from damage were not even part of the five Mage team in order to maximize Sorrowless’ EXP gain.
“Who was it?” Sorrowless asked somewhat distractedly.
“A Thief who seemed to be levelling. His face was covered, and he didn’t say very much. Once he heard that we were here levelling, he immediately left, so I don’t think there will be much of an issue,” the player recalled.
“You think?” Sorrowless snorted, then continued, “Then do you think that he came here consciously or by accident? What do you think his level and equipment would be like if he was here on his own? Stop thinking and tell them to expand the exclusion circle. Come back and report immediately if anything questionable happens.”
The player saw that Sorrowless was serious and didn’t dare to respond with a smile. After a call, he assigned a team of players to move out further into the valley.
Meanwhile, a Thief was leading Dust Dragon, Jade Flower Lover and a Warlock from Blood Red War Flag through the Solarsar islands. They hadn’t travelled to the Feathermoon Stronghold, instead walking along the coast to reach the rear of the Ruins of Solarsal.
“Let’s go in from here and attack them with surprise. We can then send someone to block the front door,” the Thief said as he pointed at the mountain in front.
Jade Flower Lover and Dust Dragon could only see the steep cliffs that used to be the Naga’s Stronghold. The location was very easy to defend and very difficult to attack. They couldn’t see how they could enter and catch them off guard.
In fact, part of their plan was to send some Thieves to attack from the entrance once the chaos began. “Hey, there is a road here that goes straight into the Ruins of Solarsal that we found,” the Thief said with a smile. “In order to stay hidden from the people inside, we will have spent a lot of time and energy on this.”
“There are shortcuts!” Jade Flower Lover exclaimed in shock. “Well, if we can enter the ruins unnoticed, then all your organisation’s efforts will not be in vain.”
They had decided to deal a significant blow to Glory Capital, and not just block their members. Their small team was no match for the members of Glory Capital in a straight-up fight, so they needed to capitalise on their advantage.
Of course, it would be better if they could use this place for their own purposes somehow.
“Just get everyone here first,” the Thief said.

“Alright, Warlock, open the door,” Jade Flower Lover instructed the Warlock that was following them. It had now been half a year since Dawn’s release date and most clubs had a Warlock with this skill. Blood Red War Flag was no exception and they had no shortage of talent either.
“The people in the front should be careful. The players maintaining the exclusion circle are on high alert,” the Thief noted, temporarily taking the role of commander.
Lu Li was flying high in the sky and saw that the area was completely covered. He even spotted the group of Thieves that had deliberately stayed in Stealth.
Blood Red War Flag was also prepared for this moment. There were at least 80 Elite players among those who had arrived.
These players didn’t really know what they were going to do, so they couldn’t sell the information. If they had known, it was unlikely that Blood Red War Flag could mobilize 30% of their Elite group without having their intel leaked to Glory Capital.
As more and more players arrived, they hid in the valley behind the ruins so no one could find them.
The 80 Elites were in place and the Thief began to move everyone. He quickly found a passage in the mountain wall that could fit five about five to six players side by side. It was very flat and was enough to let the troops travel through.
Lu Li knew from his previous life that there was a passage there. Given the architecture and monster distribution inside the Ruins of Solarsal, it was hard to be seen when entering the valley as long as you stuck to the hillside. As such, these 80 Elite players were probably going to be able to completely surround the area. There were also a number of Summoning Gates still running outside, which meant that Blood Red War Flag could continuously summon reinforcements for the surround. The reinforcements would enter the battlefield from the rear.
It could be said that the Blood Red War Flag had invested tens of thousands of people to ambush Glory Capital’s 3000 members.
They had lost battles against Glory Capital before, so they didn’t need Lu Li to remind them how many players they needed to achieve their goals.
To initiate the fight, a group of Thieves snuck into the area and tried to cause as much chaos as they could. They planned to drag as many Glory Capital players as possible into the battle, and prevent them from using their Hearthstones to escape. This was fairly unlikely anyway as the Glory Capital players were fighting monsters and were already in combat.
After the Thieves entered, the Blood Red War Flag players began to spill in waves right into the middle of the area.
Lu Li watched the battle from the sky. It looked just like boiling oil coming into contact with some water. Glory Capital’s initial losses were huge.
Blood Red War Flag was three times as powerful as Glory Capital here and they had also surrounded them, but one side had not completely defeated the other. Glory Capital was quickly beginning to fight back and their players were consolidating a defence, greatly slowing down the advance of the other army.
Lu Li was staring at one spot, where Sorrowless was standing with his iconic Blood Red Magic Staff in his hands.
Lu Li didn’t know what this Magic Staff was, but all he knew was that he had it from the very beginning of the game. It was likely that it was upgradeable like his Supreme Ring – otherwise, it would have been replaced by now.
Sorrowless had been locked down. Although he had killed the player who attacked him, he had also lost the opportunity to escape with his Hearthstone now.
“What do we do?”
“What else? Go get the Boss. Get all players that are level 55 and above to leave. We can get our revenge later,” Sorrowless said calmly as he stood under the protection of a group of other players. As long as you didn’t fight and kept a distance from the enemy, you would be able to get out of combat and channel your Hearthstone. After 30 seconds of channelling, you would be able to leave the area.
