The new Mage God?
Surely this was a bit too much? Four Seas Dragon was a role model within the gaming circle, so he likely hadn’t received a payout from Ruling Sword to promote Fat Monkey.
In the years after the rise of Sorrowless, there had been other strong Mages too – Lucky Southern Persian, Dancing Star Dream, Magic Cry, Deadly Green Orange, Dream 13, Half a Cigarette, Twilight, Wild, Cloudy Leaf…
It could be said that the Mage Profession had the most talent in the gaming circle. Each of these players were skilled and had epic stories written about them.
But who really had the most promise in toppling Sorrowless?
There were many differing opinions, but there had never been such a claim by a veteran commentator. A number of prominent media commentators had put forward their analyses, but even these had public-relations influences.
Today, a newcomer, who had not even come out of a training camp, had actually received such an evaluation.
Even Dark Wind was shocked.
Being a commentator was a reasonably stable career, but Dark Wind would never say something so absolute about Fat Monkey. One day, Fat Monkey could become a weak player, and then Four Seas Dragon’s words would be treated as a joke.
Fat Monkey didn’t know about all of this. After he revived, he trudged along and all he could feel was exhaustion.
In such a short period of time, he had used up almost all of his energy.
Not only did he face the Mage God, but he also faced the Mage God’s newest tactic put on display for the world.
Fat Monkey didn’t expect when he sat down that he would be enthusiastically encouraged by Ruling Sword.
Everyone thought that Fat Monkey had done really well even though he lost and couldn’t even take 50% of Sorrowless’ HP. Not a single person said that he didn’t do well.
Lu Li patted Fat Monkey’s shoulder and sincerely said that he had done a good job.
After Fat Monkey, Moonlight was the next person to fight for Ruling Sword.
A Warrior was actually disadvantaged when matched against a Mage. In fact, Thieves were much better suited for this match up. However, since Sorrowless had used so many skills against Fat Monkey, his disadvantage was mitigated.
“How can he still have Frost Nova?”
After a few rounds of fighting, Sorrowless actually used Frost Nova, which could not have already cooled down. Moonlight had no choice but to use his badge. He couldn’t just stand still and allow Sorrowless to cast an ultimate skill onto him. Sorrowless had many crowd-control skills that had been used, but the ultimate skills that had a longer channel time were probably not used when fighting Fat Monkey.
Moonlight’s goal was to kill Sorrowless while maintaining his own strength.

“Cloudy Leaf,” Lu Li whispered.
“What do you mean?” Fat Monkey was puzzled.
“Cloudy Leaf has that equipment that gave him a second Frost Nova, which is why Moonlight is having a bit of trouble.”
“I didn’t expect Glory Capital to do this kind of thing,” Fat Monkey said, his perspective on them changing.
“This is a very normal thing, unless they think we are weak,” Lu Li explained with a smile and packed his gear as he got ready to get on stage.
Moonlight had defeated Sorrowless, but he didn’t have much HP left, so it could be said that Sorrowless had succeeded in fighting Moonlight and Ruling Sword. He had retained a few crowd-control skills after defeated Fat Monkey, and those were just enough to deal with Ruling Sword’s next player.
Regardless of whether it was Moonlight or Lu Li, Sorrowless was fearless as long as he had his crowd-control skills.
If it weren’t for the fact that he had lost too much HP from fighting Fat Monkey, he probably would have left Moonlight on critical HP. However, dropping him below half HP was already an excellent job, as Moonlight was a top-tier professional player.
After Sorrowless went down, Ruling Sword was up against Demigod Asura, a Warlock that had a Doomguard.
Warlocks also belonged to the Magic Profession and could compete for the Mage God title. In Dawn, a Warlock sacrificed themselves to the darkness in pursuit of strength. Their scrawny bodies looked like they could be blown down by a gust of wind, because they used their blood to summon a variety of dark creatures to do their bidding. They had seemingly harmless skills that could torture their opponents to death.
It was said that in the beginning, Azeroth didn’t have Warlocks and it was Gul’dan that brought them to Azeroth.
As for the Doomguard, this was a huge monster from the Burning Legion. It had high armor, high damage output and high HP. It was similar to a Warrior with a burning blade. Doomguards were the forward troops of the Burning Legion and were very proficient in combat. For them, strength was everything, so as long as you demonstrated great strength, they would not hesitate to enter battle for you.
Demigod Asura was a very strong Warlock.
From Lu Li’s memory, his level would continue to rise much faster in future. However, he and Blood Dagger were actually cousins with a solid relationship, so Lu Li couldn’t just poach him for Ruling Sword.
Moreover, Sorrowless was actually quite charismatic.
He had led them through thick and thin. When those who had followed him looked back, they could see his brilliance. Demigod Asura and Blood Dagger had been walking with Glory Capital side by side this whole time.
Although Demigod Asura had entered through unofficial channels, he had still experienced the youth training camp like the others.
He directed the Doomguard to intercept Moonlight as he cast a continuous damage skill onto him. Occasionally, he would also cast crowd-control skills. He wasn’t being greedy at all and knew that this was a hard fight. Other players fighting Moonlight, who had so little HP, would want to save their strength as much as possible to deal with the next Ruling Sword player.
If you could kill Moonlight and lose the least amount of HP, then you would have the most advantage or could even defeat the next opponent.
Moonlight didn’t last long with such an aggressive attack, but he wasn’t humiliated as the Warrior God. He still took quite a bit of HP from Demigod Asura.
According to Commentator Four Seas Dragon, if Demigod Asura hadn’t played so well, Moonlight might have seized an opportunity. The outcome of the match wouldn’t have been so clear then.
Lu Li walked past Moonlight to get to the stage; he was the next person to fight for Ruling Sword.
