Lu Li was more fortunate on his second Instance Dungeon run. After reaching Chief Ukorz Sandscalp, a small object dropped out of Saviour OOXX-17/TN. This was one the GPS trackers for the robotic-chicken OOXX-17/TN. One could use the tracker to locate the chicken if it were to break down.
After killing the last BOSS, the equipment was all given to the two new guild members, except for the rare materials.
“We are going to complete our tasks. I’ve called for a higher-up member to come lead you all.”
Lu Li’s time was precious; it was impossible for him to continue guiding them, but he also could not abandon them. That was why he called upon the guild to send personnel to assist them in farming.
Among these mid-to-low-levelled players, Paladins, Berserkers, and proficient Mages were the fastest.
“Thank you, big brother,” Midsummer Bloom said, naturally having no objections.
“Just forget it. We have equipment now and we can farm for experience ourselves. If we always need others to lead us, we will never be able to catch up. Even if we reach level 60, we would still be useless,” Cracked Glasses asserted as he unexpectedly refused Lu Li’s offer to have someone assist them in levelling up.
“Ok then. Here are 30 gold coins. Go and use them to buy some medicine,” Lu Li offered, as he directly handed them a pile of gold coins.
“Thank you, big brother.”
Cracked Glasses really wanted to refuse. He felt that Lu Li was different from his reputation – Lu Li was being overly enthusiastic. However, after having refused him before, he felt that it was inappropriate to refuse again.
Midsummer Bloom really wanted someone to guide him, but because Cracked Glasses had already expressed his refusal, he could only conform and say that he was perfectly capable of operating alone.
Fighting against a Nightmare-difficulty Instance Dungeon led them to completely change their equipment several times. However, because their levels were lower, they needed to find a few stronger Main Tanks before they could form a group.
Midsummer Bloom was actually an intelligent person, and had a sharp mind. Otherwise, he would not have said what he said after Cracked Glasses had refused Lu Li’s invitation.
According to his capacities, one didn’t even have to mention the Ruling Sword guild – not even an average guild would accept him. He had associated himself so closely with Cracked Glasses. Although Lu Li could see straight through them, he did not mind the guild containing one extra member.
Midsummer Bloom knew his own situation. If he did not show any improvement, he was bound to be kicked-out by the guild.
This intelligent person who had wasted his time thus far within the game secretly promised himself that he would take this opportunity to turn things around. He made a commitment not to experience a humiliating firing.
Sometimes, an unexpected situation could change a person’s life.
If it were not for what happened today, Midsummer Bloom might have forever remained an ordinary third-class player. Relying entirely on his intellect, he wouldn’t have led a bad life, but he would also never be able to become the commander of an elite group within a larger-scale guild.

Lu Li sent a message to Square Root 3 informing him of the two new members. He then said his goodbyes.
He still did not understand why within the memories of his previous life that Cracked Classes was playing for the Horde rather than the Alliance. However, he could only hold such thoughts inside. It would be too abrupt to ask. Lu Li knew that the gaze at which Cracked Glasses looked at him with today already held a sense of suspicion.
According to the reminder made by OOXX-17/TN, it wasn’t long before a non-moving robotic baby chicken was found in a mountain, north of the sand dunes.
From the outset, this little, robotic chicken looked no different from a real one. One could see the detail and artistic talent of the person who had created it. Their passion and effort were palpable. It was unfortunate that half its body was buried by sand; it had clearly been left that way for a long time. As he was waiting for the Gnome, Oglethorpe Obnoticus’ voice once again arose from the robot:
“Please place the GPS within the core of the little chicken, my respected peer. I trust that this will not be difficult for you”.
“Then, I need you to move OOX-17/TN to an open, safe place so it can begin a lengthy take-off procedure. It has built-in cloaking, but I need time on my end to make it operational again. I need you to escort the robot from its current location to, let’s say, the Caverns of Time! That should be a perfect place, and long enough to get things online!”
This was obviously a special mission. Lu Li closely inspected the little chicken, and very quickly found the way to place the GPS into it.
When the little chicken received its GPS locator, it immediately revived itself. It shook its small body a few times, causing all the sand to fall off. Under Oglethorpe Obnoticus’ remote command, it then started running towards The Caverns of Time.
It was as if aggro had been unlocked. The surrounding monsters started hurrying over, with some even determined to completely rip the small robotic chicken apart.
Lu Li could only kill these monsters. It was fortunate that Boss would not appear along this road, otherwise, he would have to call upon a larger team to protect this little chicken. Zul-Farrak’s Nightmare-levelled Instance Dungeon Boss would not be able to stand a few attacks from Lu Li and Water Fairy. However, the BOSS in the Wild was different – even Lu Li had to choose the option of running away if he were to encounter a Level 45 Boss.
The difficulty of this task had a direct relationship with the number of people participating in it.
The amount of work three people could complete when encountering monsters was three times what one person could do. There were a significant number of monsters.
Unfortunately for them, they were encountering three level 60 players. For such a player, these Level 40 or so small monsters could be easily defeated, so long as they didn’t have a chance to attack the little, robotic chicken. Remnant Dream, the small hunter, took her pet from Tanaris and began killing monsters en-masse.
Many monsters were killed. Upon reaching Oglethorpe Obnoticus’ selected destination, the limping, small machine immediately began calling out, “Camouflage mode. Travelling to Booty Bay”.
With smoke pluming out of its backside, it flew upwards, and headed West.
“Wow, that’s very cool,” Remnant Dream said in a hopeful voice.
After this, the chicken headed towards the Hinterlands.
There were dense trees everywhere that looked like oak or maple trees. Most of them were very old. As light travelled through the canopy, the area below would become a glimmering world of light.
After arriving here, Lu Li chose to go to Jintha’Alor in order to kill the Vile Troll.
