“Short Circuit indeed has a great future, and the other newcomers are also pretty good,”
Nine Phoenix continued, “But Blue Universe is also quite strong. It is hard to say what the outcome will be.”
“Definitely,” Wendelian agreed. “Let’s wait and see.”
“The first player to appear is Sindra from Blue Universe. Mages are currently quite strong. Hey, Ruling Sword is also sending out a Mage. It’s Fat Monkey – a fire mage! This will be a fight between ice and fire!” Nine Phoenix cried out.
Fat Monkey generally didn’t participate in these matchups, so the fact that they were using him meant that their opponent had to be very strong.
Sindra was an old-school Mage, so he might have a focus a little.
Those were the thoughts of Fat Monkey, but of course, there was actually a decent chance that Sindra would defeat him.
Both players already knew each other as neither were newcomers, so they didn’t need to spend much time testing the waters.
“Fat Monkey is getting wilder and wilder,” Lu Li said coldly.
“True, but it’ll get better in future.”
Water Fairy knew what Lu Li meant. He was dissatisfied with Fat Monkey’s fighting style and how he had little respect for his opponents. It must have been that there were so few worthy matchups for him in the Donghua Cup that his ego had become inflated.
The reason for Water Fairy’s response was quite simple.
Once he experienced a few losses at the higher levels, Fat Monkey would naturally have to adjust his mindset.
“Sindra is pretty good. He’s giving Monkey a run for his money.”
Lu Li felt that the Mage was doing quite well despite taking a passive approach. He would wait for Fat Monkey’s offence to lull before launching a counterattack.
“However, he is still not a match for Fat Monkey,” Water Fairy said with a smile.
The players in Blue Universe had once been her subordinates, so there were few people that knew them better than Water Fairy.
“We’re helping you teach those traitors a lesson,” Lu Li quipped.
“I don’t really mind anymore. It has been quite hard for them since they left too.”
Water Fairy was hugging Lu Li’s arm as she spoke. She didn’t really feel sad as Drizzle Court and Peerless City had formed a three-way alliance with Ruling Sword. They were tied together in getting First Clears.
The human and material resources that they had saved from doing Instance Dungeons and instead spent on Wild Bosses had achieved great results.
According to the number of Wild Boss kills recorded last month, Drizzle Court and Peerless City had surpassed Seventh Heaven and were just behind Glory Capital and Blood Red War Flag.
Blue Universe wanted to sweep through the Donghua Cup so their name would be known.
However, the road had not been as smooth as they thought. They had encountered many tough opponents that it was difficult for them to claim that they had steamrolled through.
Now, they were up against Ruling Sword, who were at least equally as strong as they were.
They had already lost a match to Ruling Sword in the Professional League. This had left a lasting impression.
Fat Monkey took a few blows from Sindra’s counterattacks because of their impeccable timing, but this wasn’t enough to eliminate him. He had many tricks up his sleeve that were beyond Sindra’s imagination.
In the end, Fat Monkey won, but with a less than ideal advantage.
Blue Universe’s Party Leader Enthrall had now come to eliminate Fat Monkey before being greeted by another Ruling Sword player.
Everyone had expected Mu Qiu to appear. Between Mu Qiu, Fat Monkey and Short Circuit, Ruling Sword had a strong team that was hard to rival within the Donghua Cup.

However, things didn’t play out that way.
Enthrall looked to his opponent and felt blood rushing up his throat.
Azure Sea Breeze!
That’s right – Ruling Sword had heartlessly sent someone who wasn’t even a professional player into the field.
However, there wasn’t a single person who had forgotten who he was.
He was the Main Tank of Ruling Sword’s First Clear Team. He could even be called Dawn’s number one Main Tank. The total value of his equipment and enhanced skills was enough to buy a medium-sized guild.
“Come on, someone is bound to get crushed now,” one of the audience members cried out.
However, their voice was soon drowned out by the overwhelming cry of the crowd. Azure Sea Breeze’s popularity was just too high, and they were just chanting his name repeatedly.
“How dare you put your shield down.”
Enthrall had very little experience with Anti-Warriors.
The guy in front of him was like a hedgehog armed to the teeth, and he didn’t know what to say.
“Come and hit me. Come on!” Azure Sea Breeze taunted his opponent.
Enthrall cast a Charge which hit Azure Sea Breeze’s shield. However, what left him speechless was that he Stunned himself and he took more damage than Azure Sea Breeze did.
“Hey, you won’t get through my equipment that easily,” Azure Sea Breeze laughed proudly.
Enthrall’s attack power was certainly not comparable to Azure Sea Breeze’s. The damage that he had received was just the rebound damage. When Azure Sea Breeze was bored, he tried to collect as many exquisite equips with rebound damage as he could.
Of course, the rebound damage wasn’t 100% effective, otherwise, he would just be invulnerable.
However, with his HP and defense, he could just stand there and allow the rebound damage to do the work. Even Lu Li wouldn’t be able to beat him.
Enthrall knew that he was in trouble.
This was especially so when Azure Sea Breeze quickly regained his lost HP from some Lifesteal stats in his equipment.
“Invincible! Breezy is invincible!”
This wasn’t the first time that Azure Sea Breeze had joined in on the Donghua Cup. However, his popularity was very high which meant that more and more spectators were joining in.
“If he uses Magic, then it wouldn’t even be a fight,” Lu Li said coldly. He instantly worked out the weakness of Azure Sea Breeze’s set up. The rebound damage only worked on melee attacks. Those who used magic damage could fire away without any fear.
“Come on, it’s already quite impressive. You don’t have to tear him down,” Water Fairy said with a smile.
Azure Sea Breeze had managed to embarrass Enthrall and he seemed to have even gained Water Fairy’s approval, so he was quite happy.
Enthrall didn’t throw a tantrum in the arena; he just continued fighting. Azure Sea Breeze wasn’t gaining that much regeneration from the Lifesteal, so he could still deal damage.
But what if he didn’t fight?
Then, what was he doing in the arena!?
Enthrall was not a top Warrior, but he was still somewhat of a celebrity. He had no idea that he would one day encounter this perversion of a strategy from Azure Sea Breeze.
“Concede, concede,” Azure Sea Breeze laughed at his opponent.
Azure Sea Breeze was beaming. The feeling of humiliating a professional player like this was just like getting a First Clear.
