“Come on Illidan, let’s settle this with our fists, like the old times.”
Zaetar seemed to have calmed down.
“You aren’t even an adversary, but do you think you will escape? I am now the Lord of the Outland!”
After so many years, Illidan had indeed become a lot stronger. He had surpassed Zaetar and even other stronger beings like Remulos.
Of course, he had also paid a huge price.
In Dawn, the characters with the saddest stories were Illidan and Arthas…
“Yes, but I have two helpers,” Zaetar said, seemingly unfazed.
Two assassins attacked Illidan from behind. With Zaetar’s support, they managed to deal significant damage to him.
The Demon’s blood was spraying everywhere!
Illidan growled before spreading his wings and rushing into the sky. He ran away without looking back.
This fierce battle had ended unexpectedly quickly.
However, this was to be expected. When facing these two top level assassins, no one would stick around and fight. Even Illidan did not dare to underestimate the son of the Demi-God. He had made extraordinary progress over the years, so there was no reason to assume that Zaetar was the same.
One of the assassins was the Orc Garona. She was holding two warblades which still had Illidan’s demon blood on them.
The other was a renegade of the Goblins, Mekgineer Thermaplugg. He had cast Cheap Shot on Illidan several times and the last one almost removed Illidan’s left arm.
Garona confirmed that Illidan would not be returning and put away her weapon.
“Thanks a lot Mekgineer, and son of the Demi-God.”
“Thank you Zaetar. You have worked the hardest,” Mekgineer Thermaplugg said in an indifferent tone.
“Don’t thank me. You don’t owe me anything, Mekgineer,” Zaetar snorted before trampling the top of the altar with his heavy hoofs. He then casually walked away from the altar as cracks started to appear on it.
“This guy really isn’t afraid of dying… or getting lost in the void,” Mekgineer Thermaplugg muttered.
“It really seems that the son of the Demi-God is immortal. It’s too bad that you still aren’t as strong as Illidan. If we hadn’t set up an ambush, we probably wouldn’t have been able to hurt him,” Garona said.
The three of them had planned this ambush in advance, but Illidan had taken his time to arrive.
When he finally arrived, he was suddenly attacked. But before the three of them could truly display their combat ability, he had already run away.
“There have always been some unusually powerful beings in this world. I would have thought you would have seen them all already,” Mekgineer Thermaplugg said in a surprised tone. “For example, you seemed to be close to people like Medivh and Aegwynn.”
“You probably don’t want to die here in the Outland do you?” Garona retorted and then
vanished.
Mekgineer Thermaplugg rubbed his nose in boredom. After a while, his body started shaking so much that he collapsed as if he was going to die.

Regardless of whether it was the Orc Shamans or the many Elementals of the Throne of the Elements, they all just silently watched as this all unfolded.
In fact, they mostly didn’t dare to do anything.
Mekgineer Thermaplugg was a Thief, but he was also a genius Tinkerer.
To someone from Stormwind City, this sounded like a low-class profession akin to a shoe repairer. One would have thought he had little to no fighting ability. However, anyone who knew the Goblins knew that being a Tinkerer was the pinnacle of Goblin engineering.
The great craftsman Mekkatorque and the great Tinkerer Mekgineer were the two goblins with the greatest achievements in Goblin engineering.
Even if he only had a single breath left, he wouldn’t be killed so easily, which was why Garona left without any fear.
Some people didn’t like being seen in their weakened states.
Lu Li sat near the Revive Point in Shattrath City. He was in a daze and surrounded by players from Ruling Sword. They didn’t know what had just happened. All they knew was that Lu Li had just appeared at the Revive Point and had lost a lot of EXP.
The celebrities of the game were always being watched by the players. For Lu Li to die and be sent back to the city like this was a very fascinating circumstance.
Even Lu Li’s own players didn’t dare to bother him. The players in the know knew that he was trying to level up some important equipment. They also knew that he had spent enough materials to buy a medium sized guild.
However, after seeing him come back after being killed, it seemed that the process had failed.
He had lost a lot in this process.
“She’s here,” someone whispered before everyone saw Water Fairy arriving.
Seeing that the Boss was in a bad mood and had lost his spirit, no one dared to talk to him. Naturally, they informed someone who could do the job and Water Fairy was one person who was particularly suited for this job.
“What’s wrong? Why are you sitting here?” Water Fairy asked.
Lu Li slowly raised his head. He first saw Water Fairy’s slender waist and immediately recognised it to be Water Fairy.
“Weren’t you going to fight in the Instance Dungeon?” Lu Li was surprised to see this girl here and was a little worried.
“I came looking for you; we’re waiting on your command. Did the levelling up not succeed?” Water Fairy crouched down and held Lu Li’s hand. Even though she was a local tycoon, she also would have felt the pain of wasting so many materials.
“Huh? Who said it failed? It’s already done.” Lu Li was speechless.
“Then why do you look like you’re mourning someone?” Water Fairy said angrily.
“The level up process went a little haywire,” Lu Li explained as he pulled Water Fairy to her feet. “Forget it, let’s do the Instance Dungeon first. Let me do some Fortifying first. I’ll explain as we walk.”
Since the Supreme Ring could not be damaged or dropped, he didn’t have too careful when fortifying it.
This did not mean that the Fortification could not fail. For example, on the fifth Fortification, the benefit received on the first four successful fortifications would be lost and Lu Li had to start over.
Recently, Ruling Sword had consumed a lot of Strengthening Stones because of the Fel Reaver.
Even though they had strong support, Lu Li wasn’t willing to deconstruct the equipment required to get to the twelfth fortification. In fact, almost no one do so because of the consequences. Failing the fortification early would just reset the weapon back to its original stats, but failing it at the later stages risked destroying the weapon completely.
Lu Li only chose to fortify up to six times; he felt that that was enough.
Even so, he had failed four times before getting to the sixth Fortification. He had also decided to use a few scrolls to increase his Fortification chance so he could get to the higher levels of Fortification.
The Supreme Five Ring had undergone tremendous changes after being upgraded from the Supreme Four Ring.
