The first and second seasons of the Professional League had their own fair share of excitement. Anyone with a keen eye could see that the officials were controlling these matches in the background.
This battle between Ruling Sword and Blood Red War Flag was no exception.
This was a clash between two mega-clubs; it was destined to be exciting.
However, this wasn’t the only one. Just a couple of days ago, Glory Capital was matched against Seventh Heaven. Seventh Heaven were a powerhouse guild, so everyone was waiting to see this exciting matchup.
However, Glory Capital decided to send out their newbies-in-training.
These newbies were skilled. They were able to gain enough points for Glory Capital to stand at the front of the rankings. However, compared to the proven competitors of Seventh Heaven, there was still a long way to go. Naturally, the match between Seventh Heaven and Glory Capital resulted in a completely one-sided massacre.
Glory Capital wasn’t ashamed at all. In fact, they thought that this was a favourable outcome. They used this opportunity to show these arrogant newbies what true strength was.
Instead, Seventh Heaven was in an awkward situation. They had prepared themselves for this supposedly ‘big’ match and were met with a group of rookies instead. They completely dominated the match, but no one was in awe.
These rookies were incomparable to the skill of Biting Youth.
It was preparation time for the match and there was already a huge crowd, awaiting the clash between two of the top guilds in the game. Besides the personal fans of each club, everyone else was just watching for the sake of seeing some action and weren’t supporters of either club.
Ruling Sword’s fans and the members of other clubs that were affiliated with Ruling Sword were not any different from the normal crowds. They were noisy and rowdy, as if they were in a market.
On the other hand, Blood Red War Flag’s members were quite intimidating.
Most of them were young males. All of them were lined up properly and stood with their chests puffed out. They didn’t move a single inch as they looked at their opponents, waiting for the battle to begin.
Even Blood Red War Flag’s fans had a similar vibe to the players themselves. Some of them even sat like Blood Red War Flag’s members. This was why Blood Red War Flag was known as an ex-military club.
There were even rumours that there were current military soldiers in the audience.
Lu Li was speechless. Could current soldiers still play the game?
They didn’t make the crowd wait for too long. After ten minutes, everyone saw the competitors from both sides appear on the arena.
Thief!
Another Thief!
Although a battle between Thieves was not as exciting as a battle between Berserkers or Mages, this was still a highly anticipated matchup.
“It’s Biting Youth. He’s probably going to lose,” some players murmured.
Biting Youth was a dark horse in this competition. Naturally, he had garnered a lot of attention. After all, who knew when they would encounter him on the arena? It was best to gain information on him.
“Losing is pretty much guaranteed. The key part is whether or not he can make some good plays,” another player said.

“Why is it guaranteed?”
“Because that’s Lu Li. Do I need to say more?”
Indeed, that was Lu Li. Alongside with Sorrowless, Lu Li also had slowly become an undefeatable giant in everyone’s hearts.
Both Thieves looked at each other and entered Stealth simultaneously.
Biting Youth had exquisite items; they were all Level 70 Epics. Although Blood Red War Flag couldn’t compare with Ruling Sword in terms of First Clears, they were much better at Wild Bosses. Blood Red War Flag’s control of the flow of items within their club was also extremely strict.
If other people received good items, Lu Li would only borrow these items if he needed them. This was assuming that they would be willing to report the items that they received to the upper echelons of the club. However, not many players did that. After all, people were selfish.
However, Blood Red War Flag was different. It was said that even a Dark Gold item would be reported.
If it was something that was more suited to being used by the pro players in the club, then it would be immediately given to the pro players. The players who would give and the players who would receive would obey without question. After all, this was for the glory of the club itself.
Since Lu Li had the Supreme Ring, he quickly discovered Biting Youth’s position.
Lu Li didn’t go towards Biting Youth immediately. He planned to play with this fresh meat for a bit. He wanted to use a shameless method to finish this battle and acted as if he didn’t know where Biting Youth was.
Biting Youth’s heart was pounding. After all, Lu Li was the strongest Thief that he had encountered since entering the game.
The Thieves that he trained with in Blood Red War Flag were second-rate compared to Lu Li. He was excited to face off against this top-tier Thief, but he didn’t believe that he was guaranteed a loss.
No matter how strong Lu Li was, he was still a human!
Not a god!
Biting Youth quickly realised Lu Li’s position and proceeded to move with extra caution. From what he felt, he thought that he had circled around to Lu Li’s blind spot. He hadn’t realised that he was already caught.
Cheap Shot. Backstab. Continue. Control.
If the target managed to escape from his control, which way should he move in?
From examining Lu Li’s previous battles, he found that Lu Li had no particular tendencies. Lu Li also didn’t care if he looked cool on camera or not.
After all, Water Fairy was his girlfriend, so it didn’t matter anyway.
Biting Youth decided to take action when he thought that it was the right time. His daggers silently aimed at Lu Li’s head.
Scum!
This was the word that echoed throughout the mind of every Thief who had fought against Lu Li previously. Since they had fought against Lu Li before, they knew how adept Lu Li was at sensing his opponent. Therefore, it was impossible for Lu Li to not know that Biting Youth was right next to him.
Just before Cheap Shot and Backstab landed on Lu Li, which would give Biting Youth control of the battle, Lu Li suddenly turned around and dodged the dagger.
Biting Youth was on the verge of meltdown upon missing. However, he couldn’t hesitate. This was because this miss was enough for Lu Li to find him.
From having the upper hand, he was now disadvantaged. Lu Li used Gouge and immediately stunned him. They proceeded to exchange skills and attacks after this. Since Lu Li managed to gain control of the battle, it was Biting Youth who ended up falling behind.
Both players re-entered Stealth after suffering damage and waited for their next opportunity.
