The little turtle was cute, had big eyes, and could be mounted. It appeared quite awkward and slow, but when moving in water, it was faster than any other mount.
If you wanted to upgrade it so that it could move faster on land, that was possible too.
You just needed dangle a carrot it in front of its head while sitting on it. The little turtle would then desperately run forwards, trying to eat the carrot.
But of course, it was still a turtle at the end of the day. This meant that speed would always be its greatest disadvantage.
Remnant Dream didn’t need a mount, so she would probably just treat it was a pet.
After the awards were handed out, Lu Li set up a stall at Booty Bay, attempting to buy the Scrumptious Fish at a high price.
The Scrumptious Fish couldn’t be traded during the event, but became tradable after it ended. However, they had a time limit of seven days, after which they would vanish.
The Scrumptious Fish couldn’t be used for anything – they couldn’t be cooked or used in Alchemy.
NPCs also didn’t accept them both during and after the event, no matter how low of a price was offered.
As such, it was rational to get rid of them as quickly as possible. Even if they weren’t worth much money, it was still something. However, Lu Li wanted to buy them at a high price. Before long, there were hundreds of players around him clamoring to sell their fish.
This so called ‘high price’ was actually just one Silver coin, but it was indeed quite expensive compared to the Common Squid that usually cost 50 Copper.
The Ruling Sword Trade Skill players were tasked with buying up all the fish; Lu Li didn’t bother to stay there himself.
It was obvious that anyone who would buy the fish at this price was going to be considered stupid. If Lu Li was present, they would certainly think that there was something wrong with him.
For a player like Lu Li to do something like this, it would be analyzed to no end.
Lu Li took Water Fairy and his sister to a secluded place, and asked Water Fairy to take out Mr. Claws.
After the event, Mr. Claws became an item as well.
Mr. Claws – Use: Talk to Mr. Claws and you might be able to make a wish! You might be granted good luck… or bad luck… Even Mr. Claws doesn’t know!
The number of Uses were 3/3, and they had a 2-minute cooldown.
In other words, it was an item that could be activated. As for what happened, Lu Li had no intention of explaining it.
“Can I do it?” Lu Xin was eager to try.
“No,” Lu Li resolutely refused. The poor girl couldn’t persuade her brother and had no choice but to move back to a safe distance.
Water Fairy used the item, and after the cloud of smoke dissipated, a giant lobster appeared.
“What’s this?” Water Fairy was puzzled.
“Careful, it’s a monster,” Lu Li warned after quickly determining that it was an enemy. He rushed forwards and cast Gouge at the lobster.
This reliable skill somehow failed, probably because the lobster’s claws were too long. It then countered with its own attack and sent him flying.
The fact that it had sent Lu Li flying did not bode well.
Fortunately, the frightened Water Fairy reacted and began to fight off the lobster whose attacks were still cooling down. Even Lu Xin took out her bow and arrows and began to fire at it.

This big lobster was probably the highest-level creature around; it was three levels higher than the next player at level 48.
Even if Water Fairy was on her own, it would be a little dangerous, but she still had a chance of beating this elite monster. With Lu Li there, it wasn’t even a suspenseful encounter.
After the battle, Water Fairy didn’t receive any loot.
On the second use, there was the same flash of smoke which gave Water Fairy a scare as she took a few steps back.
This time, there wasn’t a large lobster, but a small box. After opening it, she found four bottles of potent HP potions and five bottles of potent MP potions. Both of these restored more than the potions that were currently available.
As for why there weren’t five HP potions like there were MP potions, this remained an unsolved mystery.
“Ah, these are good items – they regenerate 2000HP. Xin Xin, do you want them? I’ll give you two to protect yourself,” Water Fairy offered.
Lu Xin shook her head. She was only level 10, and had no use for such an item.
“How about we split it between us,” Water Fairy suggested to Lu Li.
“You caught this item yourself. Why would you split it with me?” Lu Li refused, but took one HP potion and two MP potions in case of an emergency.
If he didn’t take any, the female tycoon wouldn’t be happy.
Now, they were down to their last try. Everyone understood what was going to happen, but unfortunately the outcome was completely random. Anything that it produced just came down to luck.
There was the same cloud of smoke on the third activation.
After it disappeared, there was a small crayfish on the ground. Water Fairy was disappointed as she picked it up and prepared to kill this ‘monster’.
“Hey show it some mercy,” Lu Li said in surprise.
“Why?” Water Fairy asked.
“Don’t you see how cute it is?” Lu Li responded.
“Oh, what do you know about being cute?” Water Fairy mocked him. Of course, anyone could tell what was and wasn’t cute, but calling this crawfish cute was too much.
It didn’t have the dark red shell of the previous lobster. Instead, it was pink and very small.
It even spat bubbles from its mouth that floated through the air and popped. This made it even more appealing, and Water Fairy held back.
“You don’t seem convinced. Does this seem like a monster to you?” Lu Li asked.
“Sure, it doesn’t seem like one. It didn’t attack us…unless…” Water Fairy nodded and suddenly realized why it looked the way it did.
“That’s right – it’s a pet.”
Lu Li was glad that Remnant Dream wasn’t here. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to sleep or eat, knowing that there was a lobster pet and that she didn’t have one.
“It’s pretty cute, eh Xin Xin? Come catch it and you can have it,” Water Fairy said.
“Oh, Water Sister, don’t you want it?” Lu Xin asked in astonishment.
“Me? I’ve never kept any pets; they don’t really mean much to me…” Water Fairy mumbled as she shook her head.
How could a woman not like keeping pets?
“It’s just a game, so it doesn’t really matter,” she added as the Lu siblings listened in admiration.
