There was no way that players could summon each other; the average NPC didn’t have this ability either.
Could it possibly be Remulos?
He was the most likely to summon him, or perhaps it was the Elder of the Blood Fang Worgen. After the curse was lifted, his strength grew and he was no longer to be underestimated.
Lu Li wasn’t left confused for too long; the changed environment put him on guard.
He knew that the few NPCs who could have possibly summoned him had no bad intentions.
But…
Lu Li didn’t even hesitate to dive forward, regardless of what was ahead of him. The piercing feeling of danger told him that if he didn’t move, he would surely die.
His reactions surprised his ambusher, even though that was his intention. If the ambusher wanted to kill him, he would have made his move in silence. After all, this was an expert Thief who had assassinated King Llane.
Lu Li had already figured who had summoned him here. When they previously parted, the female Thief had left a mark on him, but he had been so busy over the past few days that he had almost forgot that he had a trainer.
“Teacher,” Lu Li said as he climbed up from the floor.
Upon looking around, he found that he was in a cave-like place. Judging from the temperature and the soil, he suspected that he was located somewhere in the heart of a mountain. An oil lamp supplied them with light and behind him stood Garona, who glowed light-green.
Garona had no weapons in her hands; what she had used to sneak an attack on Lu Li was her fingers. With her strength, she no longer needed to use weapons like players to cast skills.
“Looks life you’ve already learnt Empowerment: Stealth,” Garona said with certainty as she looked at Lu Li.
This time, Garona wasn’t wearing her exquisite cape – it was hung on the wall, but Lu Li didn’t dare risk anything.
“Yes, but unfortunately, I haven’t learnt its essence,” Lu Li lamented.
“Oh, you know the essence to stealth? Let’s hear it.”
Garona walked to the wooden stool nearby and sat down, planning to listen to the theory of her student.
“I just spoke randomly…”
Lu Li felt a little awkward to discuss something like this in front of such a great Thief.
This wasn’t his field of expertise at all, not to mention he was a Druid in his previous life. His knowledge of being a Thief was very limited.
“Speak,” Garona commanded bluntly.
“That would be, regardless of the level difference, others not being able to detect my stealth,” Lu Li answered honestly.
Garona shook her head in spite and said, “That is quite shallow indeed. You should know – Stealth is the foundation of the Thief class. If you master it to its absolute extent, you wander through endless space…even time.”
“That’s too insane…” Lu Li felt like his brain capacity wasn’t enough for this.
How could Thieves possibly be so strong. Wasn’t that the ability of dragons?

“I called you this time so that you can do one thing for me,” Garona continued, redirecting the topic. She hadn’t summoned her apprentice just for chit chat.
“Please, I’ll try my best,” Lu Li promised.
However, if it was beyond his ability, he most likely wouldn’t be doing anything.
It seemed like Garona wasn’t paying attention to Lu Li’s mind games; she just began to share the content of the quest.
This quest was liked with the Twilight Hammer. In the previous battle at Meisnera Outpost, the spark to the flame was the result of a plot by the Twilight Hammer. Lu Li had some contact even before this battle with the organization because he needed to upgrade his ring with the Twilight altar.
Lu Li wasn’t sure if Garona was suspecting his relationship with this organization.
The Twilight Hammer was huge, but if the quest was achievable to Lu Li, then it was probably not even worth noting to someone like Garona.
Fortunately, Garona’s next words gave him answers.
“This is just a trial. You’re not dealing with anyone particularly important, so you don’t have to feel pressured. If you encounter any problem that you can’t solve, you can ask for assistance from SI:7 Intel or The Brotherhood of the House.”
The SI:7 Intel was understandable, but why was the Brotherhood a part of this? It didn’t take long for Lu Li to think things through.
The Brotherhood was an elite organization that belonged to the royal family of Stormwind city. They accepted a wide range of classes, including Hunters, Warriors, Thieves and Paladins. They had made a large impact in the first and second war against the Tauren, but at an equally large cost.
During the second war and enraged by the death of Lothar, the Alliance sacrificed 950 soldiers and 480 Brotherhood members to chase the Tauren under the foot of the Door of Darkness.
This wasn’t an insignificant number – all the members of the Brotherhood were elites, and 480 members was nearly their entire force.
After the war, Stormwind city was rebuilt and the Brotherhood reformed.
Unfortunately, their status wasn’t the same as before. Compared to the Brotherhood, who had lost their status, the royal family was of more interest in the Stormwind Knights.
King Varian had asked the two to combine. Although the majority of the Brotherhood members thought that this was some kind of betrayal, they still respected the decision of the king.
However, after the two groups merged, they weren’t as unified as before and still worked separately.
As a man of multiple statuses, Anduin Lothar left behind an organization. The entire Alliance paid their respect to the organization and even the king wouldn’t make things too hard for them.
Lothar was the seventh master of the Brotherhood. Garona, Lothar, King Llane and Khadgar
were all friends, so it was natural for them to all be recognized by the Brotherhood.
The reason as to why Garona could still direct the Brotherhood, even after she killed King Llane, remained unknown. Perhaps, only a limited number of characters in this world would know the story behind it. Even though Lu Li had reincarnated, he was also lost in the dark about this situation.
However, this wasn’t something that Lu Li was in place to ask about either.
After she gave out the quest, Garona pointed at a flower tree nearby and said, “This kind of flower is called the Flash of Darkness. I found it a long time ago with them when I was on an adventure and now, it has finally blossomed.”
Lu Li had a habit of studying his surroundings, but he didn’t notice the plant at all.
He followed Garona’s steps and soon realized the reason behind this.
It was no wonder why this flower was called the Flash of Darkness – this peculiar plant seemed to be absorbing the surrounding light to achieve its illusory effect.
“Never believe what your eyes see,” Garona said as she reached her hands and pulled out the flower. It had finally bloomed for the first time and she had plucked it just like that. Lu Li was left speechless by her actions.
