Chapter 58: Intermission: Halloween Party on Naglfar

Hello everyone, this is a intermission in the story to celebrate Halloween with the main cast. Little bit late since Halloween passed but it’ll still be a pleasant ride!

This will still be canon to the story, as it takes place after the Skyland Arena. 

The side story of this Halloween special will last for four chapters, I hope you all can enjoy!

It was an eerie night on the ship of Naglfar, as the wind blew heavy, and the sound of the trees danced back and forth, following the currents of the astral winds. 

The large ship was parked on top of an great hill, as it was large enough to hold the wooden creation. Fhiron, Kyto, Elizabeth, Pippy, Jean, Estrilda, and Grimhild were all outside of the ship, however they were wearing pumpkins over their heads.

"Uhhhh... why do we have to wear this again? I thought we were traveling to Vrunemir Kingdom Grimhild-" (Jean)

Grimhild cleared her throat through the carved pumpkin on her head.

"...Trust me you'll need them on a day like this." (Grimhild)

Grimhild departed from the group as she traveled into an dark and misty forest not too far away from them.

"Hey where are you going again Grimhild? I still don't understand why we need to wear these!" (Elizabeth)

"Just keep them on! It'll keep them away." (Grimhild)

"Huh? Keep what away? Does anyone know what she's talking about?" (Elizabeth)

Elizabeth looked at everyone to see them shrug their shoulders, just as confused as she was.

"Well there's no point in pestering her about it. Do you guys know what day it is?" (Fhiron)

They all looked at Fhiron with their pumpkin heads on.

"What?" (Jean)

"IT'S HALLOWEEN! THAT MEANS TODAY WE CAN BE WHOEVER WE WANT!" (Fhiron)

"IS IT REALLY? HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG?" (Elizabeth)

"SURE HAS MY DEAR ELIZABETH!" (Fhiron)

"...Time passes by so fast..." (Jean)

Jean was in disbelief.

"...I don't understand what this Halloween thing is." (Estrilda)

Estrilda was crouching next to them, wearing an pumpkin around her finger for obvious reasons(she was a giant).

"Do Giants not celebrate Halloween inside of Jotunheim, Estrilda?" (Elizabeth)

"I'm afraid not." (Estrilda)

Estrilda looked down in shame.

"I suppose I won't be able to help on this day. I'm sorry, I am useless in this group... Grimhild is right, I'm not beneficial at all." (Estrilda)

"Hey that's not true. Grimhild says mean things a lot of times but she doesn't mean it..." (Jean)

Kyto cleared his throat.

"She sounded dead serious when talking to Estrilda..." (Kyto)

"Oh shut it Kyto!" (Elizabeth)

"You know what, let's not sit here and argue all day. Estrilda you don't know about Halloween, so I'll have everyone here, and me, show you how it works. It's so simple that you'll start understanding it in seconds." (Fhiron)

Fhiron made his way back up the hill to their ship.

"Pippy is concerned, what will we do about Grimhild? Should we wait on her? Pippy says with worry." (Pippy)

"Huh? Why're you narrating how you say things?" (Elizabeth)

"I'm sure she'll be fine, we're talking about Grimhild here. What I would be asking is: "What did Grimhild go in the spooky forest for anyway?". That's my biggest concern here." (Fhiron)

Jean was the first up the hill, making his way onto the ship from the boarding.

"Estrilda, I wanna give you something to help you... come here." (Jean)

Estrilda widened her eyes, hearing her master give her the first order in their relationship.

"Y-Yes master Jean?" (Estrilda)

She quickly ran up the hill and leaned her head over the massive ship, awaiting her masters gift.

"...Let's see... come forth Champion of Dimensions!" (Jean)

Jean called forth his champion which appeared right next to him.

"I can pretty much manipulate anything I wish... so... I'm using this so you can fit with us, inside our rooms and all of that stuff. It can last only for Halloween, and you won't have to worry about destroying anything." (Jean)

Jean sounded nervous saying this, but also very happy.

"Really... master Jean? You'll do that for me?" (Estrilda)

"Yes! Of course, we're all friends here! You're part of the group, don't forget that." (Jean)

Estrilda nodded hastily.

"Yes, yes! I will never forget that." (Estrilda)

The champion held out its hands and manipulated Estrilda's body down to the atomic structure, shrinking her bit by bit.

"...It's working..." (Estrilda)

Estrilda was amazed to see how different it felt to be smaller... and comparable to the other races. She didn't wanna know how it felt to be an fairy, that's for sure.

"It's so weird being small... I don't have to worry about breaking anything now." (Estrilda)

Estrilda was standing on the ships flooring, looking around her until she spotted Jean.

"Thank you master... now I can— huh? Are you okay master Jean?" (Estrilda)

"I-I...I uhhh... that was an accident..." (Jean)

"An accident? Did something happen?" (Estrilda)

Fhiron and the rest finally made it up the ship with the pumpkins off their heads.

"Hey Jean you seen Estrilda? She just suddenly disappeared in front of our eyes when we made our way up the— HOLY VALKYRIE OF VALHALLA!?" (Fhiron)

Fhiron nose began to bleed as he was knocked unconscious in Kyto's arms.

"KING FHIRON? ARE YOU OKAY?" (Kyto)

Kyto soon looked up to see what made him fall unconscious, turning his face pure red once he done so.

"...Oh... I... see now..." (Kyto)

Kyto sighed and stood up with Fhiron, holding his arm around his shoulders.

Estrilda was fully naked, wearing no clothes on her from her giantess clothes falling off her body. Her appearance was the perfect ideal woman for any man, with an curvy waist, and thick appearance.

"...I'm totally not jealous at all!" (Elizabeth)

"Yes you're, I feel your heart racing pretty fast, and from what you're saying in that noggin of yours, it is pure jealousy missy. Or maybe envy?" (Orb)

"HEY! QUIET ORB, YOU SPEAK AT THE MOST RANDOM TIMES! (Elizabeth)

If there's anything that can get the air headed Elizabeth angry, it's pestering her about the jealousy over thick woman,.

"...Oh I see, so being naked is another thing that you all find disturbing. I shall go get changed, please pardon me." (Estrilda)

Estrilda made her way to the ships cabin, searching for anything she could fit into. Jean stood behind her and held out his arms, preventing anyone from sightseeing.

"That's enough! I forgot to include her clothes when I shrunk her, so I'll take responsibility for my actions!" (Jean)

Fhiron finally woke back up with an big smile on his face.

"...Mommy..." (Fhiron)

"MOMMY?" (Kyto)

Fhiron shook his head back and forth and stood back up quickly.

"Let's not fool around anymore, we have to decorate this place and make everything neat! We'll do it before Grimhild returns!" (Fhiron)

Everyone began to make haste. They all gathered hundreds of pumpkins from the storage cabins and began carving them; Pippy and Elizabeth focused on setting up the pumpkins and creating Jack-o'-lanterns around the ship. Fhiron and Kyto hung up decorative monsters around the ships walling, such as Fafnir the dragon, Fenrir the wolf, and thousands of other creatures that existed inside of Yggdrasil.

Everything was coming along just great. Jean sat by the cabin that Estrilda was in, and took off his pumpkin-head waiting for her to come outside.

"None of these clothes fit me... hmmm..." (Estrilda)

Estrilda checked everyone's closet in each cabin room, but couldn't find something to fit her body. She was still tall even when she shrunk, being Fhiron's height. 

As she walked across the floor back into Fhiron's room, her foot hit against something.

"Oh?" (Estrilda)

Estrilda looked down and seen a bag on the floor.

"This must be Grimhild's bag..." (Estrilda) 

She looked back and forth to see if anyone was watching her before crouching down to unbuckle it.

"...Oh my... it's empty...? But I could've sworn I felt something once my foot hit against it." (Estrilda)

Fhiron and the rest finally finished the decorations, and even made their own fruit punch and an magical floating pumpkin above them, illuminating an vibrant orange light.

"It's spectacular! Estrilda, why don't you come outside and see this!? I went overboard just for you!" (Fhiron)

Fhiron smirked, now crouching down to place his palm on the flooring.

"Now we just need some party members..." (Fhiron)

"And how are we gonna get more party members Mr King?" (Elizabeth)

"By me of course." (Fhiron)

The floor begun to glow in an golden color, showing multiple elves appear from the ground, and out of thin air.

"Yaaaaayyyy~! Party!" (Elf)

"Let's get ready to party!! Woooooo!!!" (Elf)

"The heck? Where did they come from?" (Elizabeth)

There were over dozens of female elves walking around the ship now, all screaming and cheering in excitement.

"Oh, I created them of course. I'm the elf king for a reason." (Fhiron)

"PIPPY HATES LOUD SCREAMING! Pippy says as he yells." (Pippy)

"Again, why're you narrating how you say things?!!" (Elizabeth)

"Kyto, follow my lead lad. Tonight I'm gonna show you how to get some beautiful ladies." (Fhiron)

"...Oh brother..." (Jean)
