"State your names, the two of you."

Siegfried was standing in front of the carriage at the back, investigating the two unknown females who traveled alongside the Cyrodel.

"My name is Elizabeth! Unhand me at once or my father will make your life a living hell!"

Kyto would quickly glance over at Elizabeth with wide eyes, Grimhild now sighing as if she knew where this was going.

"Who is your father Elizabeth? Speak the truth, and no lies."

Siegfried had sheathed his blade whilst crossing his arms, waiting for an answer.

"My father is of the Rozenheart family, I'm sure you heard of them right...? The Royal Rozenheart's, known among the entirety of Midgard!"

Siegfried would gasp under his breath, placing his hand onto his chin.

"You mean to tell me... that you are the daughter of Sir Rozenheart? If it is true then show your birthmark."

Elizabeth would smile at Siegfried, suddenly turning around and exposing her butt right in front of his face.

"See, see!? Look! There's my birthmark, right there on my butt!"

Siegfried hesitantly looked at the sight in front of him with a cringe expression, however he did notice a symbol there. Out of all the places her birthmark was on her bottom.

"It's said that the Rozenheart family has birthmark's of an heart symbol planted on their body. Looks like we also found you too, Elizabeth Rozenheart."

Siegfried chuckled to himself in a proud manner.

"Kahahaha! This makes the payment for the bounty even easier that your father has casted upon you!"

Elizabeth suddenly returned back to her original position, sitting on her bum.

"W-W-Wait… bounty?"

Grimhild glanced over at the Rozenheart.

"...I wanted to say something but I know how this works. If we talked while a General knight investigated someone, then I could easily be locked up for life. But now I can finally speak."

Grimhild cleared her throat, Kyto was still sad, with an regretful look upon his face for putting them in this situation.

"Elizabeth... if you would've shut up and not told them you were part of the Rozenheart family, then this entire situation would be easy to escape, but now I have to protect both you and Kyto from these Templar knights. Once again I'm babysitting brainless meat-bags."

Elizabeth face was showing shame from her actions.

"I'm sorry Grimhild... you're right, what was I thinking?"

Elizabeth realized her mistakes slowly.

"Of course father put some bounty on me... after all I'm the Royal daughter of the Rozenheart household and I ran away with a stolen item."

Elizabeth would suddenly glance at Siegfried with an determined look.

"I won't let my actions decide your guys fates!"

Siegfried scratched his cheek from this small group of three.

"Honestly... these heart touching words just makes me want to set you all free."

The General knight would sigh, now facepalming himself.

"You three, listen carefully."

Elizabeth determined look suddenly went into an clueless expression.

"Huh?"

"I will set you all free, but if I do so, you must do me an favor."

Siegfried had reached into his pocket, taking out an envelope which was quite clean and unwrinkled.

"Deliver this to Vrunemir kingdom, and to the king himself. It is important, and I forgot to grant him it's purpose."

He placed the envelope down onto the carriage.

"...So... you're letting me, the golden mage, and Elizabeth go...?"

Kyto's tone of voice seemed depressed still, however he had a reason for it, feeling more like a nuisance to their traveling if anything. The Cyrodel's soulless eyes faced Siegfried who seemed more handsome than Kyto had expected. His good looks had even made the Cyrodel jealous.

"I am setting you all free, yes."

"How are you gonna do that then, Hero Siegfried?"

Elizabeth cluelessly blinked, however Grimhild scoffed next to her.

"Elizabeth do you not know your history, and what the hero Siegfried is capable of doing?"

The Rozenheart would turn to Grimhild, shaking her head back and forth.

"Uhhh nope, no clue! I just know he's super famous or something."

Grimhild sighed to herself, she expected nothing more from Elizabeth out of all the people.

"Just watch him and see."

Siegfried had chuckled.

"Ahahah, it seems this golden mage knows a lot about her history and the battles I won in the past. Alright then, I won't have to explain what I'm about to do, this golden mage can instead do the honors for that."

All the sudden the knight would reach his hand into the sky, dark clouds swirled along their vicinity.

"Pssst... Grimhild, tell me what's gonna happen!? Fill me in!"

Grimhild slightly smiled.

"Long ago it is said that a great child by the name of Siegfried was born into existence, and his very existence alone contradicted what a human naturally was. Humans are chaotic and greedy people, let's face it, though Siegfried was different among the human race. He was kind, honorable, and respectful to anyone who was human, thus all the other races adored him, such as the fairies, elves, and giants."

Elizabeth eyes widened to hear these words, not knowing how great and mighty Siegfried truly was.

"Then once things went well, the dragons attacked and killed his entire family. All slaughtered in cold blood, his village turned into ash. Siegfried couldn't save his family and felt powerless as he watched his village burn to the ground from afar. He says he regretted going out to look for firewood, only to come back to an destroyed village of his people. He talks down on himself daily for such an action, but it isn't his fault. After the death of his village and family, he ventured out with what he had left, and it was his fathers journal, hidden away underground after he found a hidden door buried underneath the rubble."

Elizabeth looked down with sad eyes.

"That's horrible..."

"Yes, he had a rough life, but it doesn't end there. Once he discovered his fathers journal, he noticed an drawn sword inside of it. Clueless to what it was, he traveled the entire world and asked those who knew of this blade, assuming his father left it there for a purpose, considering he hid away the journal inside of a secret door underground. Siegfried ended up with no answer to what the sword was, however once he traveled into some far away kingdom known as Vrunemir, he was face to face with the dragon that slaughtered his family again."

Elizabeth eyes would spark up as if she remembered something.

"W-Wait, I remember my mother telling me this part! The dragon name was Fafnir, one of the most powerful dragons in history! His power even rivaled Jörmungandr! I heard he was a rogue dragon that only liked chaos and nothing more."

Grimhild would smile, nodding her head in agreement.

"...Yes, you're correct Elizabeth. Fafnir the dragon appeared, and attacked Vrunemir Kingdom, however—"

"He slayed the dragon..."

Kyto finally butted in on the conversation.

"I too heard this story in my homeland. He realized that the blade drawn in his fathers journal was his own blade; a conceptual weapon bestowed to him from the very world itself, and he used it to defeat Fafnir once it appeared into existence. This weapon name is—"

"AWAKEN BALMUNG!"

A loud shout was heard, the knights from afar all tripping and falling over from a large earthquake underground. Black lightning rained from the sky and struck Siegfried's hand, materializing a blade into existence.

Siegfried inspected the rest of the sword inside his hand. Touching the ornate cross-guard that had spread out like a leaf, with a red and black glow embedded into the center. The Hero ran his fingers across the runes filling the blade's fuller. The large blade seemed to have a purpose for being summoned, and now it would fulfill its purpose.

"Balmung would now put an end to what has happened between us. All things in the world cannot resist Balmung's purpose; it is to destroy any enemy or set of events, no matter who or what they're."

His blade seemed similar to excalibur in a way, but more versatile from its explanation. With the large blade inside his hand, he would point the tip towards the sky.

"I will now destroy the events that happened today, however you three will remember them, but my fellow knights would long forget. So carry forth and do the duty I have given you! Make sure the king receives that envelope. You three are no threats, but only travelers, and friends. I see no harm in that."

He had smiled, and all the sudden the knights were all gone, however Galahallt remained.

"What just happened...?"

Kyto gasped at the situation.

"I destroyed the set of events from you all meeting the patrol knights, so now they won't remember you, though they'll catch up sooner or later if you don't leave as of now."

Balmung seemed to fade away in an instant.

"Carry on, you're all free."

Since he destroyed the set of events from them being captured, their bindings around their wrists no longer existed, thus they were free to go.

"You can do all of that with Balmung...? That's so unfair, how can anyone beat that?"

Elizabeth was in awe from this hero, feeling as if he was some unstoppable force, and truth be told, he was.

"Let's get a move on... thank you Siegfried..."

Grimhild would have her staff back, now tapping the bottom of it on the carriage. The horses now continued to gallop forward and back onto the dirt road, leaving the location with the envelope.

"Byeeeee Siegfried! I hope we get to meet again someday!!!"

Elizabeth waved back at Siegfried with her loud voice, however Siegfried also waved them off with a smile on his face.

"Do take care. Make sure the king sees the envelope! I put my trust in you three."
