Chapter 82: The Parasite Orcus

Once the True God Everland created humanity, and the other races of the 9 realms, they were all weakling and had no such thing as catastrophe magic, and spell ranks. They were only feeble insects that could barely even cast a fireball inside their hand, let alone use catastrophe magic.

But there was a reason for this. Sooner or later Everland and the other World Creators found out to why this was happening. They all analyzed Yggdrasil down to the roots to find the source of the problem, and they done this by using 'Yggdrasil Link' to get a clear view on all of creation and the World Tree.

What they found was... eerily breathtaking. An sleeping giant was stored away inside Yggdrasil, and was releasing his magic through Yggdrasil in order to evolve... creation? 

It all became revealed... and it scared the World Creators. During this point in time they were all together, deciding to put their grudges aside and settle this matter. They all sat in a room with one another discussing the problem.

"This entity is the one that's doing this to our creations... he must be stopped." (Demon King)

This entity... existence was hidden underneath the branches of Yggdrasil. When the True Ones were birthed and created their own races, the entity Drastically accelerated mortal evolution through his magic, and in the process unlocking mortals hidden potential and granting them mana forces, which was something the World Creators never granted them in the first place. 

"...I've noticed that the mortals and even the gods unlocked something inside of them... it's called a Mana Force?" (Jörmungandr)

"A Mana Force? How come I've never heard of this?" (Everland)

"They all have one, and it was inevitable to get one. His magic spreads throughout all of Yggdrasil! Eventually they were gonna obtain this "Mana Force" sooner or later." (Maleficent)

Beings like Everland and the other World Creators have no mana forces since they weren't really effected by this mysterious entities magic that was doing this to their creations.

"...All my children asked why they obtained this mysterious power, and I'm certain your children's have asked as well. I wish to not frighten my children... thus we shall make an lie to how they obtained these "Mana Forces" to put them at ease. If they found out of this entities existence... all will crumble before us." (Everland)

The other World Creators agreed to Lady Everlands idea and went with it. Now that they agreed together, they've decided to create powerful abstracts known as "The Idea of Evil" and "The Idea of Good". With this, it was an created concept that was formed to be an lie to how Mana Forces came to be. 

They would spread this information to the people and gods of Yggdrasil. They took the lie and even worshiped these abstract concepts... however in reality, it was all done from this entity.

Time has passed when the World Creators formed the Idea of Good and Evil. They've even went far as to manipulate the Mana Forces of reality to all be connected with the Idea of Good and Evil, thus it created pure mana forces, negative mana forces, and dual mana forces. Mana Forces became separate between good and evil due to being linked with the Idea of Good and Evil. This was done to simply hide the truth of the entity even more.

"...You tampered with my creations... and the evolutions I gave to the mortals. How truly cowardice of you True Ones..." (???)

The entity spoke to all the World Creators, causing their eyebrows to life in surprise.

"Fumu. So you finally decided to speak to us for once?" (Demon King)

"Ahhh yes... I have... all of you will suffer dearly for this, and I will be released from the Roots of Yggdrasil to kill all of you." (???)

"HAHAHAHA! What a fool! You believe that you stand a chance against us?" (Maleficent)

The entity snickered to himself after Maleficent's reply.

"My magic evolves over the years... and it will continue to grow, and so will the likes of mortals! Hahahaha... the mortals have already grown enough to defeat the pathetic gods of Asgard with the creation of Heroes and Champions." (???)

Everland stood up from her throne and balled her fist.

"So it was you that created heroes and the likes of champions? This is all on you?! Bastard... you've evolved humanity to the point they can even defeat a god! I SHALL TAKE YOUR LIFE FOR SUCH AN ACT!" (Everland)

"You are welcome to try any day Everland... hahahaha! I will like to see you try to defeat me... but if I were to die, then Yggdrasil would crumble as well." (???)

"No... you lie!" (Everland)

The World Creators widened their eyes in shock.

"Yes... MWAHAHA! Yes it is true! What do you think my purpose is in life, World Creators?" (???)

"...Your purpose is nothing! You're simply a parasite that slumbered here before our creation." (Maleficent)

"Wrong... my poor Maleficent. I am a being created from the Root World... and my purpose is to fuel Yggdrasil and keep the world tree fertilized in order to keep it living. We are known as the God heads. There are other worlds like Yggdrasil out there, and each one of them has their own God head and World Creators like you." (???)

"...There's an multiverse of Yggdrasil's?" (Everland)

"Indeed... however they refer to their worlds differently than how you all do yours. Can't you see? I am the true creator... I decide what should come... and what should go..." (???)

"...If you say your purpose is to only keep Yggdrasil alive, then you lie. You not only wish to do that, but you wish to tamper with our creations and manipulate it in any way you see fit. You don't deserve to be part of these "God heads" you come from!" (Jörmungandr)

The entity laughed as his voice echoed in all their heads.

"Haaahaaahahaa!!! And who will stop me?! Perhaps if the Root World itself was against me... then you would all have a chance. But it is unlikely..." (???)

"...We won't lose our creations to you... monster..." (Everland)

"Refer to me as Orcus, the Dream Devourer." (Orcus)

"If you believe that we won't wage war on you for this, then you're sorrily mistaken, Orcus." (Maleficent)

"Yes, Maleficent is right. We've tried so long to keep your existence hidden in order to not worry our creations... but now we have no choice. Everyone must know of your existence and be ready to defeat you once and for all." (Everland)

"Even if you kill me, I cannot truly die unless the Root World wishes for my death. Your actions will all be futile, Everland, Demon King, Maleficent, Jörmungandr. Just accept me as the true ruler of Yggdrasil!" (Orcus)

"Then I suppose there will be certain people who are created from the Root World itself in order to defeat you." (Everland)

"Heheheh... certain people created to defeat me? The Root World will never do such a thing. It only creates what needs to be created. It created me for a reason... so why would it take me away?" (Orcus)

"You laugh in the face of danger... but I believe there will be a group meant to destroy you..." (Jörmungandr)

"Yes... I believe so as well. It will be done by a mix of all races that we've created! A fairy, giant, elf, witch, human, dragon, god, and demon!" (Everland)

"Your desperate pleads to the Root World are all in vain. You World Creators are delusional to believe such creations will come... MWAHAHAHAHA!" (Orcus)

Orcus' voice faded away... and slowly left their minds as his laugh was the only thing heard slowly disappearing.

[Back to the Present Day]

"Orcus was powerful, he changed our creations and his magic was something we couldn't comprehend... it's odd isn't it? We cannot comprehend his magic or fully grasp it... yet Grimhild and the others in her group can destroy it." (Everland)

"Is that why you wish to send gods to Midgard in order to stalk Grimhild and receive more information about her?" (Maleficent)

"Fumu. So you've heard that as well? How long have you exactly been stalking me yourself, Maleficent?" (Everland)

Maleficent frowned.

"If we cannot truly erase Orcus' magic but my creation Grimhild and the others around her can... then could they truly be sent here from the Root World in order to defeat Orcus? You remember your words don't you? His defeat will be done by the other races we've created; A fairy, giant, elf, witch, human, dragon, god, and demon." (Maleficent)

Everland widened her eyes... she suddenly remembered exactly what she said.

"...Impossible... then... could my wishes come true? No... I refuse to believe that the Root World itself has heard my calling. LET US SETTLE THIS BATTLE MALEFICENT! THIS WILL NO LONGER BE A BATTLE OF WILLPOWER SINCE OUR TRANSCENDING ABILITIES ARE NULLIFIED IN OUT SUBJECTIVE FORMATIONS!" (Everland)

"You are stubborn as ever... YOU SHOULD BE THANKING ME AS I SAID BEFORE!!!" (Maleficent)
