Chapter 165 - Tong Jiaxin got back up on his feet, and went back to the classroom with his teeth still gritted. (3)
Wen Rugui repurchased his ticket. This time it was for the sleeping car.
He should have bought that from the very beginning. He would, after all, be spending two days and nights on the train. But he had spent a lot of time bringing the textbooks to Comrade Tong and was only able to get a ticket for the hard seat the previous time.
He wondered if she had seen the Dacron yet.
Most likely, she did. He wondered what her reaction to that was.
He heard from his female colleagues in the base a couple of days ago that all female comrades nowadays loved to make dresses out of Dacron.
He had never paid attention to women’s clothing before, but he paid more attention after that day. Sure enough, he noticed that many of his female colleagues were wearing dresses made out of Dacron.
The hem of their white dresses would float in the air when there was a breeze, and that sure was a nice sight.
Imagining how Tong Xuelu would look in a Dacron dress, the tips of Wen Rugui’s ears turned red slowly.
It was still daytime. Wen Rugui wasn’t able to fall asleep, nor did he have a lot to do during his train ride.
As such, he pulled out a notebook from his travel bag and started sketching on it with a pen.
Had Tong Xuelu been there, she would notice that he had the exact same pen that he had given to her.
Wen Rugui was always very focused when he did anything. All the noises from around him were tuned out by him.
Quickly, a slender person appeared in his notebook.
Long hair down past her shoulders, she had a dress on, and there was a little black dot under one of her misty eyes.
A head stuck out suddenly from the bed above, and, staring at his drawing, he asked, “Is that your girlfriend, Comrade?”
Wen Rugui frowned a little and closed up his notebook. “No.”
“If she isn’t your girlfriend, she must be your wife then?”
Wen Rugui’s long lashes fluttered, and he did not reply.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want to, but if he continued to deny it, he would seem like a hooligan. Not only was he drawing a woman, but that woman was also not his wife or girlfriend.
The man above him assumed that he was right when Wen Rugui did not respond to him. His mouth cracked open, and he smiled. “Your wife is so pretty, Comrade.”
Wen Rugui’s eyelashes fluttered again.

Wife.
He never knew that the term could be so melodious.
It was a term that would make one’s heart race and his blood pump.
Tong Jiaxin’s blood was also pumping at school at this moment, and his heart was racing, his face extremely red.
Unlike Wen Rugui, however, he wasn’t happy. He was furious!
Looking straight at the few people in front of him, he roared angrily, “Give my textbooks back to me!”
A boy with a pointy mouth smiled at him in an annoying way with Tong Jiaxin’s book in his hand. “You can come and get it.”
When Tong Jiaxin rushed over to him, the boy tossed it over to another boy. That boy, too, tossed it to someone else when Tong Jiaxin got up to him.
They were teasing Tong Jiaxin as though they were teasing a monkey.
Tong Jiaxin’s eyes were beet red. With his fists clenched, he said, “Give it back to me, or I am going to tell the teacher!”
The boy with the pointy mouth busted out laughing when he heard that.
“Hahaha! Sure. Go ahead. We will see whose side the teacher is on then. Do you not know how much the teacher dislikes you? Do you know why that is? It’s because of your big sister!”
“Your Big Sister is a cold-hearted devil. My aunty said someone like your sister who ruins others’ marriages should go to hell!”
Tong Jiaxin head-butted the boy. “That’s not true! I am going to beat you up!”
Seeing that Tong Jiaxin was charging at him, the boy with the pointy mouth dodged to one side. Tong Jiaxin knocked his head onto the wall behind him and saw stars in front of his eyes.
The boys burst out laughing right away.
“Hahaha. What a useless piece of trash!”
“Hahaha. Trash! Trash!”
Tong Jiaxin stared at them through gritted teeth. He felt that his chest was about to explode.
The bell signifying the beginning of class rang. The boys tossed Tong Jiaxin’s book onto the ground, made a face at him, laughed, and took off.
Tong Jiaxin got back up on his feet, picked up his book, dusted it off, and went back to the classroom with his teeth still gritted.
