It was a different time. A different era, to be specific. Magic was discovered when Meia, the first mage, was able to manipulate water. Then some people began studying the rare phenomenon of manipulation some humans initiated unintentionally.

The humans were easy prey for the demons at the time. Unlike some monsters, the demons never ate a human but used them as slaves and workers. But still, there were many humans with good lives at the time, the humans who lived in what was now called the human continent.

Those humans who had studied magic. Produced the mages. The humans who controlled mana, the power that fought against the demons.

The humans at first were weak, the power of mana was light at its beginning, but later, with their enormous number, the humans became a threat.

The one-sided battles for humans slowly became a resistance. And that resistance grew more robust and more significant until the powers became equal… and the era of blood happened.

Constant battles between the demons and the humans. The humans wanted to eradicate the demons, and the demons wanted to show their dominance once again.

The humans hiding in the human continent slowly crawled to the middle continent where the weather was way more stable, and the ground was between agriculture-capable and architecture-capable. The humans who first settled there were the humans who now were considered nobles and royalty.

Those humans were better than the rest. Their talents made them reach that far and made them live a good life despite the constant battles with demons. Those were the royal family, the summoners family, the sealer clan, the spiral clan, and the three noble families now known as Vivian, Rumin, and Paradex.

At that time, even powerful monsters ate humans and demons in groups. But their murder was never near the casualties the battles between the humans and demons made.

However, some humans and demons fell along a thin line. A thin forbidden line no one wished would one day happen. Some humans and demons, in places and times unknown, some normal humans and demons… fell in love.

And produced … the hybrids.

The hybrids at first were rare and lesser. But with time, they increased. The information on the hybrid was vague to humans and demons. Both of them didn't want to meet a hybrid or touch one. The hybrids were despised and hated by the two races.

And so were not welcomed.

The battles continued between the demons and humans. The world at that time knew no peace. Some species were involved in the battles, like the fairies and the spirits. Some say that the ghosts made a move in those battles. Some noted that The Dragon witnessed some of them. But nonetheless, their involvement was minor and was just a way to kill time.

The ghosts were known to be dirty beings, after all. They would enjoy blood anywhere and would welcome the corpses wherever they were.

After all, the battles between the humans and demons started when both met for the first time. And even though the time for that wasn't known, it was no less than a million years. That's why the knowledge wasn't as clear. The records weren't gathered in one place, and historians were always killed as they were weak people.

But what was sure that the battles reached a halt when a group of hundreds of hybrids joined a battle.

The Red Land.

The Red land used to be a grassy field in the middle continent. A land that bordered a demon settlement. And the humans made the first attack, and a decisive battle began. The battle of red land is said to have continued for three days. And in the fourth, the third party joined the struggle. Only hundreds of hybrids joined the battle against thousands of demons and humans.

And the result was the red land.

It is said that when a crew of hundred human mages went to investigate, they found the whole demon settlement eradicated. The land the demons had occupied was made of ash and blood. No demon or human was identifiable, nor did a gender…

The reason wasn't known, and the source wasn't known. How both sides died like this was a mystery for both races until the monsters told them the truth… the hybrids made a community.

One great monster called LashinBal, whose age exceeded ten million years, saw a prophecy and made the word for both races to understand.

That the Emperor woke up. The hybrid would gather the hybrids together and kill their way through to let their name be carved in all heads, memories, and history.

When the messages reached both sides. Lana-Haute, the sixth, the most powerful human at the time and the twenty-third king of the human race, chose to not believe it.

It is said that Lana-Haute, the sixth, was the first human to be able to embody their elements. His body took the shape of lava, the combination of earth, fire, and wind elements, and with the flicker of a finger, would turn land into a pool of lava.

Year 290 before the fall-B.F- was the first year the 23rd king chose to participate in a battle. His army had one million mages. Approximately 5% of the human population at the time.

Lana-Haute was determined to extend his territory to the middle continent. The humans were known to populate way faster than the other races. Every half a year, a female human could hold a baby. On the other hand, a demon female could have a baby only once every five years.

The demons had around fifty percent of the middle continent under their control. And even though the monsters walked as they wanted there, it was a broad part of the world with many spacious and uninhabited areas. After all, the middle continent was the biggest continent of the four that constructed the world.

The war the human king carried took a month. The enforcement kept on coming on both sides. And the humans were on the side that seemed to get a victory. Until the hybrids appeared on records for the first time.

Their number was inaccurate, but they weren't more than twenty thousand hybrids.

And the demons and humans both were eradicated.

Some said that the hybrid won that war because they benefited from the fatigued humans and demons. But even so, their number was significantly lesser at the time compared to the other two.

'The Million War' was what it was called. The humans lost their 23rd king, and the demons lost more than two hundred thousand soldiers.

And the hybrids disappeared again… for decades.

The battles between humans and demons were less visible at that peaceful time. Both sides lost a lot of resources and pawns.

The demons retreated to their continent of origin. Which was called the demon continent. And the land of the war didn't take many years to be cleaned. The corpses were already burnt beyond recognition, and some had said that this was the hybrids doing. The hybrids didn't leave any evidence of themselves, not even their dead bodies.

The demon king at the time issued a rule to kill any child hybrid or even children that look like ones.

And in that age. In 208 B.F, a young human was assigned to the throne, the only son to the Lana-Haute the sixth. He was a wise young man. His name was Siesha, and he was the first king to be named like this.

After five years of peaceful ruling of Seisha, he understood that the lack of appearance of the hybrids might be due to extreme losses by their side. And thus, he had quite some time to rebuild a strong nation.

Seisha created the first academy in history, the royal academy.

The Royal Academy was free and open to all humans to attend. In ten years, the Royal Academy went through its first expansion. And after another decade went through another.

The Royal Academy made talents shine, and talentless people have a use. Seisha, in fifty years, produced several mages the humans couldn't ever produce. And in another fifty years, the number tripled.

At the age of ninety, Seisha was already one of the most powerful mages in history but also one of the most humble.

Seisha made a decision. A decision that shook the human kingdom. His relatives and supporters were against him, but he chose to go with his decision.

He sent a messenger to the demon king. To form temporary peace to eradicate the hybrids.

Seisha suggested that the hybrids would appear again in a few more decades, with greater numbers and powers. But the demon king refused.

The demon king threatened Seisha of a new battle between them sooner or later and that the best way to stop the hybrids from increasing was for the humans to go extinct.

The human king Seisha in a decade sent another messenger but was refused again.

Years passed by, and the demons slowly crawled back to the middle continent, but Seisha refused to make any battles. Just defense.

It was in 140 B.F when things changed.

The human kingdom was on the border of the abyss or the ocean that bordered them from the human continent.

But the news reached them non less. The hybrids broke through the demon continent. Their numbers were no less than a hundred thousand hybrids. And the demons couldn't stand a chance even though they were more than twenty times their numbers.

The demons retreated. And flew to the middle continent. And the demon continent became a settlement for the hybrids.

The demons at that time still had many settlements in the middle continent. Their powers were strong, and their numbers weren't light either. But it was the perfect timing for the humans to make an attack on them.

Yet, Seisha chose to send a messenger and make temporary peace. This time, the demon king agreed to meet the human king in the sealer's sect.

The sealers were the only people who could, in seconds, extinguish a fight by absorbing the powers of both parties. It was the best place to have a peaceful meeting.

And there, it was to be made, the best possible strategy and the only strategy they had to do was to go all at once.

Decades of peace passed until the time was perfect for making a move. The demon king used that time to make as many soldiers as possible. Even if they were young. The demon king assisted them seriously, and nourished them with the humans, inside the royal academy.

And sixty years later, both knew they weren't the only ones who reproduced. But the human king Seisha ensured that it was their victory.

It was the humans and demons who made a move at the time. Their army consisted of ten million mages and approximately three million demons. Walked toward the demon continent, bordered by green forests and mountains.

And the war began.

The war was an all-out one. A week of continuous blows and magical powers. And at its end. The hybrid emperor fell.

His last words were that even if he fell, someone, one day, would inherit their will.

But in the end, all hybrids died, and more than half a million casualties were taken from humans and demons.

It was 60B.F when the hybrids died, and sixty years later, they ensured that no runaway hybrid was around.

The human and demon kings announced the peace between the humans and demons, and a new era began where there was no limitation for both races in the middle continent. The human king and demon king were awarded great statues in the capital. The rules of forbidden sex between races took around, and powerful forces took care of looking for newborn hybrids.

A set of rules came by. Demons shouldn't enter the human continent only under the king's permission. And humans shouldn't enter the demon continent only under the demon king's permission.

The Royal Academy became the ground where both races could learn, and the capital became the city of a bright variety of races.

The humans were awarded for initiating peace by making the middle continent under their supervision and monitoring. And the human language became the official language for races to communicate with.

And the date was restarted, the day the official peace hit, was year 1 After the fall(even though everyone knew that the fall was sixty years ago.)
