Edina Hackett, the intrepid adventurer, kleptomaniac, and gambler extraordinaire weaved her hands like conducting an orchestra. She swayed left and right, humming along happily to a tune only she could hear. Kanae, Esta, and Arenade watched in horror as the squirreling necromancer's undead army excavated an entire cliffside, displacing dirt and rubble by the tonnage.

Skeletal soldiers pushing wheelbarrows of dirt raced past Kanae to dump their payload elsewhere. Empty ones came back to pick up more. Stronger undeads like death knights and bone brutes attacked the ground to break through tough bedrock. It was quite the steady workflow.

"Wasn't there a better way to search for the entrance than, I don't know… desecrating our lands?!" Arenade exclaimed.

"Quit griping. I'll put everything back after we're done! You could help me with your Plant Growth skill, you know?" Edina fired back from having her symphony interrupted.

"You're absolutely sure the entrance is here?" Kanae asked worriedly.

"It better be!" The necromancer choked the air with both hands, recalling a terrible memory. "I got my back blown out to get the deets from that old geezer. Lemme tell you, a tiny body like mine shouldn't be fucked by a minotaur with dick half my height."

Kanae and Arenade finally found time away from managing the Commonwealth. Today was supposed to be their day off, but Edina strongly insisted they help her uncover one of the items Master Marwin told her about. To the surprise of no one, the particular piece of equipment was sealed away in none other than a necro lord's tomb.

Normally, they would have told Edina to take a hike. Kanae would much rather be home, spending time with her children. However, amid a looming demon threat, Kanae was willing to wager the slim chance to equip their necromancer with a powerful weapon. She also owed her a solid from all the help back in Aidenhall.

Esta folded her arms. "Are we sure whatever this weapon is should be uncovered? Depending on how dangerous— if we even find it for that matter— I believe it is best vaulted in Aidenhall."

"You think that old coot would tell me where to find the Scythe of Soul Reaping if it's so dangerous?" Edina shot the drakeling a measured look.

Scythe of Soul Reaping did sound like an incredibly powerful and dangerous weapon, but…

"Well…" Kanae quietly debated whether or not she should mention this. "Maybe Marwin only told you because he doesn't think it's dangerous enough to keep hidden. Unlike the Lich Lord's Skull."

The four of them fell silent until the gears in Edina's head turned.

"That fucking geezer," Edina muttered under her breath.

A trio of skeletal soldiers raced up to them and stood as straight as their crooked spines could muster.

"Don't tell me they actually found the entrance?" Arenade remarked in disbelief.

They led the party directly to a gated entrance on the side of the cliff— a stone's throw away from the original digsite. Kanae, Esta, and Arenade gave Edina a dirty look and her undead minions shrugged.

"Did you even bother double-checking the map?" Kanae sighed.

"Aha… At least we found it?" Edina laughed nervously.

A copper placard on the cliffside etched with 'Necro Lord Tomb #5' served as proof of that. The Knight of Silver and two death knights pried open the gates with their combined strength. Stale air rushed past them. A deep, dark cavern awaited the party much like their first foray. This time, however, they weren't underleveled and underequipped.

They descended into the depths with Arenade lighting the way. Her Halo of Holy Radiance was bright enough to illuminate a large enough swathe that nothing could ambush them. With every step they crossed, the stairs widened, the craggy cavern ceiling rose higher, and a doubt nipped at the back of their minds if there was ever a bottom. Gargoyle statues the size of dogs began to appear atop pedestal columns. Their ruby eyes drew Edina's attention.

"Why hello, pretty little things." Edina flew up to one while rubbing her grimey hands together.

"Edina…" Kanae glared at the no-good thief.

"Cut me some slack! We're in an abandoned tomb made specifically for looting. If not us then—"

Arenade clamped a hand down hard on Kanae's shoulder. It was shaky. Her other hand pointed to another gargoyle statue a little farther down. That one had a skull clenched firmly in its jaws.

"Perhaps it is best we not tempt fate. If something were to happen, I am only beholden to save my master," Esta reminded Edina in particular.

"The greatest necromancer to ever walk this planet can handle herself! Now… if I can just pry this damn thing out!" With both feet planted on the gargoyle's chest, Edina pulled on the ruby eyes until they popped out. She came crashing into Arenade, sending them tumbling down a few steps.

"Damn it, you ratwhore!" Arenade yelled. "Everywhere we go with you is—"

The gargoyle with the skull crushed and shattered the brittle bone. Others were coming to life, their necks cracking as they turned to face the party. In seconds, a swarm of the statue-like monsters had formed to attack with sharpened claws and spears.

Kanae lassoed one gargoyle, yanking it down as hard as she could. The creature hit the ground, barely registering the impact and shaking it off like nothing happened.

"Construct-types are resilient to physical and magical attacks!" Esta warned and drew her greatsword to shove another gargoyle back.

"In that case, run!" Kanae exclaimed.

The party made a mad dash down the stairs with gargoyles hot on their tail. Suddenly, the steps closed shut. They started sliding down until Kanae unfurled her wings. Arenade and Edina did the same, but Esta continued skidding.

"Why does it feel like we're always running away from everything?!" Arenade cried.

"If you want to fight something resistant to our attacks, be my guest!" Kanae fired back.

Two gargoyles slammed into Arenade's back. They hurled ahead past an opening with her screaming for help.

"Master, behind you!" Esta shouted.

Kanae glanced over her shoulder as three gargoyles closed in. Esta plunged her greatsword into the ground, using the momentum to veer around and draw the weapon back out. She leaped into the sky, smashed one gargoyle away, and kicked the other mid-somersault.

"Arise, my minions. Come to my aid!" Edina called forth undeads, opening portals above for them to rain down on the unsuspecting gargoyles.

They emerged from the tunnel and into an expansive underground city of scrawling buildings. Instead of a dungeon like Necro Lord Zogoth's domain, this tomb was an uninhabited metropolis. There wasn't a single person in sight as far as their eyes could see. At the far end of the city was a pyramid or ziggurat built into the cavern.

After descending to the bottom of the stairs-turned death slide, they found Arenade incapacitated and lying on the ground. The gargoyles had petrified, holding her in uncompromising positions. One of them looked like it was groping her breasts when it had turned back to stone.

"Will someone… GET THESE THINGS OFF OF ME?" Arenade shouted.

Behind them, the gargoyles had shaken off the undeads and were just now coming through the hole.

"No time. Esta, pick Arenade up!" Kanae ordered.

The drakeling knight lifted Arenade, gargoyles and all, onto her shoulder, and they bolted into the first house they saw. Dozens of gargoyles flew past in search of them. They breathed a collective sigh of relief once the coast was clear.

"I guess this is how those gargoyles defended the place," Kanae said of their stuck priest.

"Har, har. Now get me out of this!" Arenade thrashed around despite being firmly trapped between two gargoyles.

It took some brute force, but they eventually managed to break the statues' arms to free Arenade from their grasp.

"Stupid statues!" Arenade kicked one in the face and immediately regretted it, dropping down and clutching her foot in pain.

"Between the gargoyles and slide, this place looked like it was meant to trap adventurers down here. We're lucky we can fly. There was a big, castle-looking place we should check out. Bet that's where the scythe is," Edina said while peeking past the drapes.

"What do we do?" Kanae asked the group. "Should we fly there and check it out?"

Esta, the only one who couldn't fly, shook her head. "Too dangerous. We should move together as a group. It will be slower, but we will be safer for it."

Everyone agreed. There was no telling what was up there, and leaving behind their most capable fighter would be a fatal mistake.

"Faster we get outta here, the better. Something about that place gives me the creeps." Arenade shuddered.

Kanae faced the party with a reassuring smile, mustered from the depths of her adventuring soul. "Alright, we can do this. We've cleared a necro lord's tomb before. We're stronger now and have Esta with us. Arenade will light the way with—" The three stared past her and went pale. She hesitated to look behind herself. "There's something behind me, isn't there?"

They nodded. Unbeknownst to them, ghastly hands and faces hovered just behind the three.

"There's something behind us, too, isn't there?" Arenade asked reluctantly.

Kanae nodded. Everyone turned around at the same time.

"Hello, there!" an apparition greeted Kanae with a smile.

The party scrambled out of the house, screaming and knocking the door off its hinges with them.

"Stay behind me. I'll exercise the shit out of them— Sacred Exorcism!" Arenade's Halo brightened to a blinding pitch.

"Are you doing what I think you're—?!" The apparition rushed out only in time to be blasted back inside by a beam of divine light.

The entire street they were standing on lit up. When the beam subsided, numerous souls rose up from the house in a column.

"Uh… What if they were trying to tell us something important just now?" Kanae asked.

"What if they were trying to possess our bodies? You should be thanking me for my quick thinking!" Arenade grinned smugly.

"I think you spoke a little too soon." Edina tugged on Arenade's sleeve, directing everyone's attention to the sea of ghosts emerging from the buildings around them.

Their ghastly, translucent appearances formed vague shapes that were undeniably humanoid bodies. Soon, the streets filled with blue and green ghosts.

"What happened?"

"Did Jannick and his family pass on?"

"Us, too! Help us pass on, too!"

The gargoyles returned. This time, their glowing ruby eyes flashed blue.

"Stop, stop, stop!" One gargoyle opened its mouth, yelling with the quality like through a dying megaphone. "Are you four the ones freeing these people from their eternal torment? Stop that! Lord Charron has ordered that their punishment last for another…" Papers rustled for a moment on the other end. "For another 734 years!"

"That sounds like an arbitrary number," Kanae retorted.

"He said a thousand years 266 years ago. Look here, bitch. I don't make the rules. As Necro Lord of tomb #5, I'm just here to enforce them," the angry voice explained.

"Screw what my brother wants. Esta, Edina, Kanae— get down!" Arenade boomed.

They threw themselves to the ground as Arenade cast Sacred Exorcism again, beaming down every apparition within sight. The grateful dead thanked her in their moaning voice, rising into the sky to meet their maker.

"Damn you! I've had it with you meddling cunts… Seize them now!" The gargoyles dive bombed for her, but Edina raised her death knights from a portal in the ground to fight them.

However, Arenade spun a full circle and caught the death knights unaware. Part of their souls were beginning to escape.

"Watch where you aim that thing, you stupid lighthouse!" Edina yelled, leaping onto undead minions to shove the souls back into the bodies.

"Lighthouse? Excuse me?!" Arenade stopped firing her spell to confront the necromancer.

"Can you two stop fighting for one moment and—"

"Master!" Esta shoved Kanae out of the way.

The gargoyle pinned Esta to the ground. A ghostly ectoplasm oozed from the mouth and into the drakeling's body. She stiffened, then slowly stood back up while inspecting her hands.

"Esta…?" Kanae called out worriedly.

"This body… this strength… I'm alive!" Esta exclaimed with uncharacteristic zeal.

Someone backed into Kanae and made her jump. It was Arenade. The former demigoddess whipped around in fright and grabbed her by the horns.

"Kanae! Is that you? You still in there?" Arenade asked while violently shaking her by the shoulders.

"Quit it! Yes, it's me! What the hell are you freaking out about? Something's wrong with Esta!" Kanae cried.

"Well, same goes for the ratwhore!" She pointed to Edina, who was slightly dazed and feeling up her flat chest.

"Boobs? I prefer a man's body, but at least this flat chest is close enough." Edina shrugged.

Both Esta and Edina were acting weird. Completely not like themselves.

The lead gargoyle from earlier taunted them from above. "They have been possessed by wraiths. Soon, the same fate shall befall the two of you!"

Two more gargoyles snatched Kanae and Arenade, holding the both of them still. When the one on Arenade expelled its ectoplasm on her chest, it sizzled like an egg on a pan.

"Ew, gross… not again…" Arenade grimaced and pulled her head back.

Ectoplasm landed on Kanae's face. She braced to be possessed, but the strange and sticky substance slid right off. Confused, it tried to slither up her body and enter through her mouth.

"Mmmphh— ptooh!" Kanae spat the ectoplasm out, causing it to return to an inert gargoyle lying on the ground which immediately came back to life.

"Uh, oh. Take care of them! I'm heading back to the ziggurat!" The remaining gargoyle flew away towards the underground city's castle.

The possessed Esta and Edina stood over them with wicked smiles.

"Sorry, Necro Lord Cantu's orders. We'll be sure to take good care of these bodies from now on though," Edina said.

When Esta reached down for Kanae and Arenade, they shut their eyes and awaited the killing blow. Instead, she picked the two up and dusted them off to their confusion.

"What are you doing? Kill them!" Edina growled.

"I can't! My body won't let me kill the succubus. I can kill the elf though." Esta balled up a fist.

"Don't!" Kanae ordered, and Esta's body tensed up to obey her.

Their possessed party members were flabbergasted.

"Wh-What's going on?" Arenade asked.

"I think it's… Loyalty Fixation?" Kanae answered, although slightly unsure of herself.

"If you can't do it, then I will! Being crowned as a necromancer, talk about hitting the jackpot. Undeads, kill them!" Edina ordered.

As the death knights traded looks and shook their heads.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"I think it's… because of Sisterhood?" Kanae cast an unsure look to Arenade. "Both of you, on your knees."

The possessed pair did as ordered, dropping to their knees and prostrating before Kanae. Their brave faces contorted with fear.

"Want me to try exorcising them?" Arenade asked.

"Not yet. I think we can gather some info from them first." Kanae went behind them and groped Esta's body first.

The drakeling was tough. She was all muscle. What little fat she had was concentrated around the thighs and chest. Kanae squeezed her breasts and nipples, making Esta shiver with pleasure.

"Oooh… What is this feeling… it's like I'm craving being touched…" the wraith inside her said.

"There's more where that came from— Turn Horny," Kanae whispered seductively into Esta's ears. She doubled over, eyes rolling back from the stimulation.

Too bad for the wraith— or maybe lucky for it— Kanae had more in store, loosening the buckle enough to wriggle her tail into the drakeling's loins. A wet pussy waited between the stocky legs, and Kanae's tail opened to lick it with a voracious appetite.

"No, wait… if you keep that up, I'll…!" Esta shuddered from climax and fell forward.

The possessed Edina stared with her hanging mouth.

"You said you used to be a guy, right? Did you know, having sex as a girl can be very addictive?" Kanae smirked, lifting her tail up to lick the juices that dripped from it.

"Ha! As if your tail scares me. Do your worst, succubus!" Edina growled defiantly.

"Who said anything about using my tail?" Kanae switched on Futanari, growing an erect penis before her terrified eyes.

The wraith snapped to Arenade. "Hey, priest! Exorcise me now! I'm begging you!"

"If that succubus dines on you, then I don't have to be the one feeding her later. Sorry, pal. You're on your own," Arenade said, turning a blind eye.

As Kanae drew closer, the possessed Edina tried to escape. She placed a charm on her to stop her from running.

"What do you want to experience first? Giving a blowjob? Or experiencing an orgasm from your pussy?" Kanae asked.

"No… No! Get that thing away from me!" the wraith cried.
