In the intensive care unit, only Su Wan and Lin Fei’er were left.
Su Wan saw Lin Fei’er’s sad look and her heart ached. She slowly bent down and carefully hugged Lin Fei’er.
“Don’t worry, it’s all over. We will still be with you. He’s only a scumbag and you deserve a better man.”
Lin Fei’er’s eyes were red. She choked and finally cried in front of Su Wan.
She cried not only because of grievances, but more so because of the relief in her heart that she had finally let go of him.
Li Peng probably really liked her but it was obvious that Li Peng loved himself more to be so selfish.
When Lin Fei’er’s parents returned, they saw Lin Fei’er hugging Su Wan as she cried.
They had just gone out for a while. What had happened?
“Fei’er, what happened? Why is Li Peng gone?”
Although Lin Fei’er didn’t allow Li Peng to enter, Li Peng would not leave her just like that.
Lin Fei’er wiped off the tears on her face. She looked firm and resolute, “Father, Mother, I’ve asked Li Peng for a divorce.”
Hearing this, Lin Fei’er’s parents were so shocked they couldn’t breathe. Mrs. Lin’s tears were not clear. She sniffed and said, “My daughter, don’t take it too hard.”
Lin Fei’er smiled faintly, “Mother, I’m not taking it too hard. On the contrary, I’ve thought it through very clearly.”
After a moment of silence, Mr. Lin sighed softly and said, “It will be very hard for you to be alone in the future…”
It was not that they didn’t love their daughter, neither were they siding Li Peng. It was because Lin Fei’er’s current condition was special.
Now in Jiuzhou, compared to men, it was more difficult for a woman who had divorced to remarry. Moreover, Lin Fei’er had an injury and couldn’t get pregnant in the future.
Under such circumstances, it was more difficult for her to find another man as good as Li Peng.
No matter what Li Peng did, he was remorseful toward Lin Fei’er and his feelings toward her were sincere too.
Lin Fei’er looked into her parents’ eyes. She knew they were thinking for her sake but the idea in her mind was firmer and firmer.
“Father, Mother, I’m a person who can’t accept sand in my eyes. If I were to be with Li Peng, I’m afraid I’ll be truly sad.”
Mr. Lin saw Lin Fei’er’s stubbornness and nodded. “The most important thing is that you’re happy. I’ll support you in whatever decision you make.”
Mrs. Lin sighed and finally gave in.
What else could she do?
If she were to continue getting stuck with Li Peng, their relationship in the future might not be as good.
In this incident, Lin Fei’er was the biggest victim. They were her parents, and their biggest wish was for their daughter to lead a good life. Her happiness was of the utmost importance.
Mr. and Mrs. Lin gazed at one another. They wanted to say something in private and so walked out of the ward silently.
Su Wan shot Mr. and Mrs. Lin a look and then touched Lin Fei’er’s hair. “Fei’er, what’s your plan after this?”
Lin Fei’er leaned against the cushion behind her. Suddenly, a soft smile appeared on her pale face.
“I wish to go out.”

Su Wan was stunned and sensed that Lin Fei’er wanted to change her environment. She blurted immediately, “Where would you like to go?”
Lin Fei’er half tilted her face. There was a beautiful feeling flowing between her brows and she seemed to have been rejuvenated.
Su Wan looked steadily at her and suddenly thought that Lin Fei’er who used to laugh and play was back again. How nice!
“Haven’t you been to Dong Chen Country? I wish to go there. What do you think? While appreciating the local conditions and culture, I can write my novels. As for the online shop, I can ask someone to help me with delivering the goods for the time being…”
Upon hearing this, Su Wan suddenly understood Lin Fei’er was serious. She had thought Lin Fei’er wanted to go to another city but she had not expected that she wanted to go abroad!
When she thought of Mr. and Mrs. Lin, Su Wan asked hesitantly, “Dong Chen Country is pretty good and people there are more friendly and lively, but would your parents agree, Fei’er?”
Lin Fei’er had just met with an accident and her parents would wish to keep their daughter by their side for the time being, wouldn’t they?
“That’s why you must help me think of an idea. Just say I have depression and you know of a doctor who’s very good at treating patients with depression in Dong Chen Country and so you recommend that I go over there…”
The more Lin Fei’er spoke, the more she beamed with joy. She held Su Wan’s hand with a smile, “Don’t worry, I won’t be there for too long, at most a year and a half. Just consider it as a time for relaxation.”
Su Wan had not expected Lin Fei’er to have thought of the excuse. She sneered and immediately hugged her gently.
“As long as you’re happy, everything will turn out well. Don’t worry, I’ll talk to your parents.”
Her Lin Fei’er should be the most carefree person in the world. It was so good that Lin Fei’er still had the mood to go for a trip abroad.
“Mmm, Wan, could you do two things for me, please?”
The smile on Lin Fei’er’s lips faded and she looked more serious.
“Do you still need to be so courteous with me?” Su Wan rolled her eyes, “Just tell me directly.”
“I think Li Peng will come troubling me in a few days. Please find me a lawyer to write him a letter.”
Su Wan nodded smilingly, “Sure, if you let me look for a lawyer, I’ll be merciless. It’d be interesting to have the scumbag divorce without getting anything.”
Lin Fei’er was amused by what Su Wan said. She pursed her lips and said faintly, “While I’m in Dong Chen Country, please help me look after my parents when you’re free.”
“Alright. Uncle and Aunty Lin are nice to me. I’ll treat them as my own parents. Don’t worry.”
Lin Fei’er looked up and she looked serious, “Thank you, Wan.”
“I said that we don’t need to be so courteous.”
Sensing the faint fatigue in Lin Fei’er’s look, Su Wan hugged her once again.
“Alright, you’re tired today. Your majesty, please get more rest. I’ll take my leave first. Call me when you need something.”
Lin Fei’er felt warm in her heart. She took a breath gently and said, “Okay.”

After leaving Zhao Hua Hospital, the lights outside were on. Su Wan looked at the stream of people in the street and suddenly, she missed Jiang Xuecheng.
After witnessing Lin Fei’er’s and Li Peng’s affair, Su Wan appreciated Jiang Xuecheng more and more.
However, what she did not expect was the appearance of a tall figure after she took a few steps.
Su Wan was pleasantly surprised. “Xuecheng, why are you suddenly here?”
Jiang Xuecheng caressed Su Wan’s hair and smiled faintly. “Someone was out for too long and I got worried.”
After getting onto the car, Jiang Xuecheng’s dark eyes moved. “I heard a piece of interesting news on my way here. Would you like to hear it?”
