The entire room was quiet and empty. Only Su Wan alone was sitting on a chair.
She lowered her head slightly. The gorgeous crystal chandelier sparkled, making the cup of cappuccino look darker.
She didn’t know why her heartbeat became faster. She felt a layer of heat seeping from her skin. Her brows knitted in doubt. What was wrong with her today?
She didn’t feel right all over…
Su Wan shut her eyes and opened them very quickly. She tucked the hair scattered across her forehead behind her ears and quietly went to open the window.
A cold breeze blew from outside and Su Wan felt more conscious. She pursed her lips and thought in her heart that if Sheng An’ning didn’t come soon, she would be heading back to the office.
Just then, there was a knock at the door. The knock on the door was rhythmic but it didn’t sound like a waitress.
Sheng An’ning was finally here!
Su Wan suppressed the inexplicable excitement and answered faintly, “Come in.”
When the door was half-opened, a tall figure appeared. Su Wan’s eyes widened. Why was it not Sheng An’ning but a man instead?
The man entered very quickly. He had a suit draped around his arm while he was wearing a white shirt and a pair of pure black trousers.
Even in such simple dressing, he looked extremely elegant, exuding an air of nobility.
At the sight of this familiar handsome face, Su Wan’s smile slacked and she seemed to have been struck by lightning.
It was Gu Zihang!
Su Wan pursed her lips and blurted out, “Why are you here? Where’s Sheng An’ning?”
“Wan, aren’t you happy to see me?”
Gu Zihang tucked his hands in his trousers’ pockets while examining Su Wan from above. There was a faint smile in his eyes.
Su Wan snorted coldly and her brows were tightly knitted.
“Do you think I look happy? Gu Zihang, we aren’t related anymore. Please don’t disturb my current life and I won’t disturb you too. We have nothing to do with one another.”
When Su Wan heard her own voice, she was shocked. She thought her voice would be cold but it turned out to be soft and coquettish.
What was wrong?
Su Wan didn’t know why but felt a flame slowly igniting in her mind. The flame kept spreading and growing stronger.
What was happening to her?
Su Wan couldn’t help holding on to the window. After finding a spot to support herself, she felt a little better but her consciousness felt like half-sea and half-flame. She felt inexplicably excited and a little dizzy.
It wasn’t right, this wasn’t right…
Gu Zihang raised his brows and looked at Su Wan’s flushed red face with great interest. Sheng An’ning’s words earlier on kept appearing in his mind right now.
‘Your fair lady is here.’
Sheng An’ning paused and a sly and vicious smile crept into her beautiful eyes.
‘I’d like to offer you a big gift. Su Wan’s coffee contains hallucinogens imported from Dong Chen and lots of ingredients that arouse desire. Please accept this gift.’
Gu Zihang examined Su Wan’s drunk look and his heart was as if seized by something. This was the first time he saw Su Wan looking like this. Her red face gave one the urge to take a bite.
Gu Zihang looked at her steadily and he gulped.

She looked like a seductive spirit.
Why did he love another back then? Su Wan’s unconscious glance was much more seductive than Su Yurou’s.
“Wan, are you feeling dizzy? Don’t be afraid, I’ll help you sit down.”
Gu Zihang’s voice came like ripples. It was so near yet Su Wan felt his words were echoing.
She hit her head hard and her heart lifted.
‘It must be that cup of coffee! That’s right, something is wrong with the cup of cappuccino!’
“You drugged me?”
Su Wan’s face was completely red but there were chills on her back. She had never thought Gu Zihang, whom she had once admired, would use such a mean tactic!
A faint light flashed through Gu Zihang’s eyes and he let out a soft laugh.
“Wan, did you only realize now? It seems a bit late.”
Su Wan’s forehead creased. Feeling dizzy, she supported herself by holding the window. While her body felt hot, there was a kind of coldness which was hard to contain.
“Gu Zihang, you scumbag!”
No matter what, she could not give up.
Su Wan estimated the distance from where she was standing to the door. Then, she dashed toward the door with the speed of a hundred-meterssprint.
However, before she could take two steps, there was a strange sense of chaos in her mind. She gradually lost her consciousness.
Suddenly, she felt the room spinning and her chest tightening. Then, she fell directly to the ground.
Gu Zihang’s pupils contracted. He stretched out his arms and with sharp eyes and agile hands, he caught Su Wan’s slender body.
When he saw Su Wan in an unconscious state with her lips opening and closing unconsciously, his throat moved. He couldn’t help touching her delicate and warm face.
The touch was much better than he had imagined.
Gu Zihang held Su Wan’s waist tighter. He looked at Su Wan with nostalgia and his eyes darkened.
They were both engaged when they were very young and Su Wan had liked him all along when they were in school.
Now, she had married Jiang Xuecheng but it was merely because she wanted to get back at him for loving another. The person Su Wan loved must be him.
Gu Zihang stared at Su Wan and his voice became hoarse.
“Wan, we’re fated to be a couple. I’ve wronged you in the past but I’ll treat you well in the future.”
The unconscious Su Wan seemed to have heard what Gu Zihang said. She frowned and felt herself entering a nightmare.
Gu Zihang recollected himself. He draped his suit on Su Wan’s shoulders and then messed up her hair.
After doing all these, Gu Zihang brought Su Wan out of the room.

Gu Zihang brought Su Wan out through Blue Mountain Café’s back door and walked directly towards Anzhi Tinglan Hotel.
Taking the exclusive elevator, they went straight up to the sixteenth floor. He walked to the presidential suite on the corner of the floor and swiped his card before entering.
Gu Zihang placed Su Wan carefully on the cashmere blanket. Su Wan’s black hair was scattered around her waist.
Su Wan curled up on the cashmere blanket just like a sluggish cat. The hand embroidered flowers on the blanket were not as beautiful as her sleeping look.
She was so delicate and pretty that one had the urge to rub her into one’s bones.
Several words appeared in Gu Zihang’s mind at that moment—beautiful and charming!
