Su Wan returned to the beach from the cave.
From a distance, Su Wan saw the figure of Jiang Xuecheng lying on the beach.
Su Wan immediately heaved a sigh of relief.
The setting sun was like blood in the sky, and the bonfire that had been lit was blown by the sea breeze. The flames flickered from time to time, as if they were going to be extinguished at any moment.
Looking at the unconscious figure at this moment, Su Wan’s tears fell silently.
He doesn’t know anything, but that’s good too…
Su Wan could feel the wound on her shoulder continuously turning black. She was afraid that before long, she would feel numb all over and die.
It was already a miracle that she could hold on until now.
Su Wan sighed. She quickly ran to the beach and straightened Jiang Xuecheng’s figure.
While moving Jiang Xuecheng, Su Wan had been carefully avoiding the bleeding part of her wound to prevent the virus from spreading to his body.
With Jiang Xuecheng’s recovery ability, he would probably wake up in the middle of the night or by tomorrow morning.
What she needed to do was to first place Jiang Xuecheng in the cave to ensure his safety while he was asleep.
After all, with such a 1.8-meter-tall man leaning on her body, Su Wan had to pay attention to her movements from time to time. She could not let her blood touch Jiang Xuecheng’s wound.
Su Wan walked with difficulty.
Fortunately, the cave was very close to the beach. Su Wan spent a lot of effort to help Jiang Xuecheng into the cave, almost panting.
Jiang Xuecheng frowned a few times, and a few murmurs escaped from his lips.
Su Wan thought that Jiang Xuecheng was going to wake up because of her actions, but when she turned her head, he still had his eyes closed, showing no signs of waking up.
This was good…
Su Wan sighed. The only thing she could be sure of was that she had to protect Jiang Xuecheng before she died.
The bonfire in the cave was still burning, but the fire was much smaller. The faint yellow light shone through the cave, making Su Wan feel an inexplicable sense of relief.
Su Wan bent down and carefully leaned Jiang Xuecheng against the stone wall. Then, she carefully took off his shirt, which was still wet.
Soon, Jiang Xuecheng’s strong body was revealed. He had all kinds of abs and mermaid lines, and his muscles were delicate and flexible. He was more attractive than the male models on the runway.
If one ignored the bloodstains that Jiang Xuecheng had when he fell off the cliff, it would be even more perfect.
Even at this moment, Su Wan could not help but blush when she saw Jiang Xuecheng’s bare upper body.
She took off the shirt that was soaked in seawater and mud and hung it on a tree branch to dry it by the fire.
Then, Su Wan moved Jiang Xuecheng closer to the fire, hoping that he would be more comfortable.
After doing all this, Su Wan added a lot of dry firewood to the bonfire. When the dried branches burned, they emitted a faint wood fragrance.
…
Other than the crackling sound of the burning wood, there was no other sound in the entire cave. It was so quiet.
Su Wan stared at Jiang Xuecheng’s slightly pale unconscious face, and her heart felt slightly bitter.
She didn’t know if it was despair or sadness.
She could only blame the two of them for their bad luck today!

First, the vehicle failed, and then they fell off a cliff into the sea. It wasn’t easy for them to swim to the beach, and they even encountered a venomous snake?!
The heavens are trying to kill me…
Su Wan turned her head and glanced at the row of purple teeth marks on her left shoulder. Her skin was already showing an abnormal layer of black and purple.
The color was thick, and there were faint traces of blood. It was terrifying to look at.
In front of her, the warm and clean fire was still burning, and the fragrance dispersed in the narrow cave.
Su Wan half hugged her knees. She no longer had the imposing manner she had when throwing the venomous snake. She was only left with the most helpless and vulnerable side of a girl.
Was she going to die?
Su Wan’s mind was in a trance. She suddenly recalled everything that had happened since she had met Jiang Xuecheng.
In fact, the first time they met was not pleasant. That night when she had just gotten off the plane, she had almost thought that Jiang Xuecheng was some kind of evil person!
Although she had saved this man’s life out of kindness, Su Wan had not taken it to heart at that time. She had thought that that side was over.
She didn’t expect that she would be tied to Jiang Xuecheng for the rest of her life.
Wasn’t it for the rest of her life?
Jiang Xuecheng’s kindness to her, Jiang Xuecheng’s smile, Jiang Xuecheng’s violent face when he was angry, Jiang Xuecheng’s gentle call, everything about Jiang Xuecheng…
Perhaps, everything about Jiang Xuecheng would belong to someone else in the future.
Although she thought that she must find a girl who understood him to take care of him for the rest of his life, now that she thought about it, she could not help but feel sad.
Unexpectedly, tears fell again.
They slid down Su Wan’s cheeks, bit by bit, to the corner of her lips, and then fell onto her knees.
When such tears fell on her skin, they actually had a scalding temperature.
Life could be so short, and there were too many wishes that could not be fulfilled in time, so they could only become regrets.
Su Wan’s vision turned black. The wound that had been bitten by a venomous snake was now in a fine and dense pain.
It was as if she had been pricked by a needle, the pain could not be ignored.
Just as Su Wan was in a trance, she did not know if it was an illusion or something else, but suddenly a low voice called out from behind her.
“Wan Wan, what’s wrong?”
Su Wan was stunned. She suddenly turned her head and saw that Jiang Xuecheng’s upper body was bare, and his originally tightly shut black eyes had already opened.
Under the bright light of the fire, although his angular face was slightly pale, it was still too handsome to look at.
“Xuecheng, I’m fine.”
Su Wan forced a smile. She wanted to do her best not to let Jiang Xuecheng worry, but the pair of eyes that had just cried had betrayed her!
How was she fine?!
When he had fallen off the cliff to protect Su Wan, Jiang Xuecheng had suffered too many injuries. He barely managed to hold on and realized that a part of his leg bone seemed to have been broken.
Jiang Xuecheng’s heroic brows instantly furrowed even deeper, and a crease appeared between his brows.
Su Wan hurriedly stood up and gave him a reproachful look.
“Don’t move! Your bone is broken!”
It was this standing up that allowed Jiang Xuecheng to instantly see the bloody teeth marks on Su Wan’s shoulder!
The part of her shoulder that had been bitten was already covered in purple bruises. It was definitely not something he had bitten in his sleep!
It was obvious that the wound must have been poisoned!
“Wan Wan, what bit you?!”
Jiang Xuecheng remembered that they were on a deserted island and he had fainted earlier. It was probably Su Wan who had been protecting him the whole time!
What had that delicate woman, who usually did not even dare to kill a chicken, just experienced?!
Jiang Xuecheng shivered all over and his heart was filled with regret. He had clearly said that he would protect Su Wan well, so why did he let her be bitten by a venomous thing?!
Although there was a bonfire here, the light in the cave was not too bright.
Su Wan had never thought that Jiang Xuecheng’s eyes would be so sharp. With one glance, he had seen the teeth marks on her shoulder!
