It was just another ordinary day at Fujimoto Academy for Young Ladies, who had just returned from a skiing trip in Wonsan. The food was great, but why even bother going to Korea to ski? My home town Niseko had plenty of snow to ski down.

Well, my father wanted to go because his friends were having a birthday party at a ski resort. My mother urged me to follow my father as a caretaker. I didn't mind because she gave me a credit card, so it was worth it.

As I was saying, it was an ordinary afternoon and a serene atmosphere in my favorite spot in the library. I was reviewing a book because of a test tomorrow on the topic of "How the Mongols almost conquered Japan." I was bored, super bored, and sleepy when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head. I blacked out, my body collapsing onto the floor as I hit my head on the edge of the table.

When I came to, I felt a wet sensation on my nose and realized that I had been unconscious for some time. I tried to sit up, but found myself unable to move. It was as if my body was being pulled by an unseen force.

"H... e.. l... p..." I managed to utter a word, but I was still falling. My perspective shifted and I felt as if my life was no longer in my control.

I tried to cry out, but my body wouldn't respond. I was sucked through an endless hole, tumbling, spinning, and falling through a sea of colors and lights.

When I finally landed, I felt my body splash on the water. As I touched the water, my consciousness snapped back, and now I found myself in a strange and exotic world, completely unlike anything I had ever seen before.

"Haa!!" I screamed and looked around in confusion. I was standing in the middle of a vast, open plain, surrounded by rolling hills and tall, green grass. In the distance, I could see a dense forest and a shimmering lake. It was a beautiful and peaceful place, but I had no idea how I had gotten there.

My knees were trembling as I tried to get my bearings. I suddenly heard a commotion behind me. I turned to see a group of knights riding towards me on horseback, their armor shining in the sunlight. They stopped a few feet away from me, dismounting and bowing low before me.

"Your majesty," one of the knights said, his voice filled with reverence. "We have been searching for you for weeks. We are overjoyed to have finally found you."

Still not recovered, I stared at the knights in shock. "Your majesty?" I repeated, not understanding. "What are you talking about?"

The knight looked at me with a confused expression. "You are Queen Akiko, the rightful ruler of this kingdom," he said. "We have been searching for you ever since you disappeared from the royal palace."

My jaw dropped. Queen? I was just a normal high school student from Japan! How could I possibly be a queen? I had no idea what was going on, but one thing was clear: I was way over my head.
