Chapter 37: Ava’s turn

The girls all excitedly awaited their turn alone with Akio but for now, it was time to give attention to the woman who made everything possible. 

Akio yet again said his goodbyes to the girls before he opened a portal and walked through it. 

When he came out he arrived at nothing. There was no light, no air no planets no stats, etc. Akio was incapable of completely isolating concepts such as time and space. 

This space represented a lot for Akio and Ava as well. This is the condition in which they met and the one where Akio had lived for all those years. 

This was also the closest thing Akio could make that was comparable to the place Ava was born into. Of course, when she willed herself into existing concepts didn't exist until she herself built them. 

Akio waited for a few more seconds before suddenly something happened.

A crack opened in the place he was in and a beautiful woman with long flowing white hair and golden yellow eyes appeared. She stood at a height of 5'8 and a white cloth ran down her curvaceous body.

'Interesting a soul managed to escape the cycle of reincarnation.' The woman who produced her own light in this deep darkness formed a telepathic link with Akio, she stepped out of the rift with a warm smile on her face. 

'It feels like yesterday when you first said those words to me.' Akio internally chuckled remembering his first encounter with the beauty in front of him.

'Time flows fast for those who have lived long enough, although I can't call what you went through exactly 'living'.' Ava's words made Akio put on a distant look. 

'Agreed.' Akio's facial expression made a wave of guilt flow into Ava, this did not go unnoticed by Akio.

Akio flew over to Ava before hugging her from behind and began talking through their link, 'Do you feel guilty for not finding me earlier?'

'*Sigh* Now who's reading who's mind.'

Akio internally chuckled again remembering his first interaction with Ava. 

'I cannot expect you to save every lost soul you have awareness of Ava, I would happily go through it again if I could end up in the same place I am now.' Akio wrapped his right arm around Ava's waist and put his left hand on her cheek. 

The two inched closer until their lips overlapped. After around a minute, they broke apart with Ava resting her head against Akio. 

'You've reached far you know, I'm proud of you.'Ava who was still resting her head on Akio looked up at him and grabbed his face. She stared deeply into his eyes that almost exactly matched hers.

The two remained like that in each other's arms for a while. 

'How do you like the place I built for us?' Akio was the one to break the telepathic silence.

'You did a good job achieving what you were trying to. I'll admit it matches what I saw when I first gained awareness.' Ava admired the darkness and complimented Akio's work.

Receiving the praise Akio smiled before he even more closely hugged Ava, not even leaving a gap of space between the two. 

'I like this, I don't mind doing just this the entire time.' Ava bathed in her lover's warmth and also wrapped her arms around Akio.

For an unspecified amount of time, the two drifted about in the infinite darkness. They needed nothing else at the moment besides each other.

They spent the time mostly talking, it didn't matter the topic they would simply talk and listen to one another. 

When they desired each other they would indulge in that desire and without shame begin passionate sex. 

When they were satisfied they would remain there naked floating around in each other's embrace. 

The two as if they were the only beings in existence spent 6 days with just each other. No time was spent away from one another and it was hard to tell where one began and the other ended. 

During these 6 days, they were truly one.

On the final day, the two had to spend alone Akio spent time doing the same thing he had done for Aurora. 

He had made a ring with a simple design and on top of it was a mix of crystallized white and golden yellow mana. He did the same as with the other ring and placed over 500,000 barriers around it. He ran his divinity through the ring again connecting it to his soul. 

Ava who watched the creation had a smile on her face the entire time. When Akio finished his creation and made sure it was perfect he for the first time in the last 6 days broke away from Ava. 

Again like Aurora he used no words as he slipped the ring into her outstretched hand. Just like Aurora Ava stared with a gaze full of passion at the ring until she was forced to give her attention back to Akio.

'Forever and always, my lovely wife.' Akio spoke before he drew Ava into another passionate kiss.

'Yes, forever and always my magnificent husband.'

With enough words spoken the two's figures yet again merged in the infinite darkness, yet again becoming one.
