Eros didn't know if he could breathe underwater so he panicked when she pulled him under. He struggled and pulled away from her but when Caide spoke he stopped. Her voice was intoxicating.

"Shh you can breathe and swim as long as you are with me. Do try to relax and enjoy," Caide said as she slipped her hands back around his waist. "Don't you want to have fun?"

Caide could tell what he was thinking and she laughed as she embraced him, "Eros, I am magical. Haven't you realized that by now? I can see all the pain you have felt for so many years. Eros felt awful for her, "Wait how long have you been here?" They were under the water now. He found he could swim and talk to her as if they were above water but this buoyancy made him feel like he could glide. He was free but was she?

Caide looked away feeling a pang of sadness in her heart. "Year after year I was alone in the water. I am only allowed to come to the surface every one hundred years, but then I have a mission. Each one hundred years, I have to work to keep the lake alive or I will die. The lake feeds on love, and if the town is lacking in love, it will dry up. I have to spread love to the town, which means there is never any love left for me."
