The more I looked around at the beastkin in their cages the more I felt rage. I think the rage coming from Eliah was somehow resonating with me. ‘Humans are truly despicable creatures. I should have ended them all when I had the chance.’ She was saying something pretty insane, but when I looked around at the beastkin in their cages I could only agree with her. These humans were truly disgusting for doing this.

The beastkin’s cages were filled with their own bodily fluids, and the food that they had just reminded me of dog food from earth. “It’s a horrible sight isn’t it, master? Maybe we should destroy this whole kingdom.” Rela must have noticed my angered expression. I sent Erevyn away to bring a letter to the lord of this awful city. If they don’t have the balls to show up, I was thinking of leveling this city. A lot of the beastkin were looking at me with terror, but I could see hope in some of their eyes.

We hadn’t yet let any of the beastkin out of their cages. The little beastkin girl that we followed here perked up inside of her cage. “Did you come to save us?” She asked while grabbing the bars of her cage. She was extremely malnourished, and that only served to further my anger. I was boiling at this point. That was when I heard that dragon's voice inside of my head. ‘Are you angry?’

‘Yes I am angry.’ I start to feel something in my core heating up. ‘Do you want to destroy this place?’ My core heated up even more. I started to feel my eyes burning. I was brought back to reality by Eliah’s voice inside of my head. ‘You need to calm down.’ Like that I felt a certain calmness resonating in my core, and then the heat subsided. ‘Tch’ I heard the dragon click his tongue.

I looked back at the little beastkin girl who was waiting for an answer. “Do not worry. You will be safe now.” She released a relieved sigh. I then turned to Rela. “Release all of the beastkin from their cages. Don’t let any of the humans out. Be sure to watch over the beastkin that you release. I am going to get some fresh air.” I left the warehouse and walked outside. When I was outside of that forsaken place I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding in.

I started to think of all of the beastkin subordinates that I had within the game. After observing the scene in the warehouse, I could only hope that they were all okay if they were still alive. I don’t know the lifespan of a beastkin, but I imagine that they could be made to have an indefinite lifespan if they were made into a vampire.

The faces of the beastkin in cages came back to me, and with it came a memory. I remembered a certain NPC in the game that would always make me smile. They were coded to be mischievous, and they would always play pranks on the other NPC’s. Remembering that brought a certain sadness to my core, and it was followed by anger when I thought of the cages.

“I will make the lord of this city listen to me. If he doesn’t I will raze this whole kingdom.”

[??? POV]

“What happened to the ritual?” I asked the bald burned faced man in front of me. “It was a failure, my lord. The true lord Eliah usurped it.” I smiled while looking down from my throne. “It is fine. Perhaps she knew what we were trying to do? I just don’t know why she would get in our way with this. Then again it was always hard to know what she was thinking. At least now the dragon will be in good hands. Our true lord would never allow that dragon to control her. What of those people?”

“I don’t think they will be a problem for us. If anything they could serve our true lord's revival even faster. It will be a nice obstacle for her. Even if they are weak humans use despicable tactics. They are currently meeting with prince Eren.”

“Very well, you are dismissed. Continue your diligent efforts from the shadows, and remember to report back to me.” He quickly vanished from the room.

I smiled while thinking about my queen, Eliah. The only thing I have wanted for years was to be reunited with her. It is a shame that I can’t see her now. I just have to bide my time. Her true resurrection shall come, and with it I will come from the shadows to heed her call. The machinations of this world will be finished, and I won’t have to live in hiding any longer.

The true lord is currently lost, and she needs direction. That is why I founded this organization. I knew she would be revived. Rela wasn’t the only person that was privy to this information. She called me a despicable traitor for the things I have done, but she is the real traitor.

“How could she follow a fake?” It might be the same body as the queen, but her true self is hidden, unable to come forth. That is why we must be diligent. We have to do what we can for the sake of our true lord. This is why I had Erevyn procure that arm. It is necessary for our end goals. Once Eliah sets her eyes upon it the truth will be revealed, and I will be there for the awakening.

After the queen died I struggled for years, but I became motivated by the fact that I knew my queen would come back to us. I developed this organization as well as a grand scheme, so that I could welcome my queen into this world. I confronted Rela to tell her my plan to awaken the queen, but she wouldn’t listen to me no matter what I said. She even called me a traitor! She was a real traitor! “How could she not want everything to return to how it was?”

Rela and I got into an argument that quickly turned into a fight, but no matter what I did I couldn’t beat her. Try as I might, I was never stronger than Rela; however, I will show her next time! I will show her that she is a real traitor!

My pride might have been shredded by Rela, but I will have my revenge, and I will only ask that Queen Eliah will forgive me for what I will do to Rela. “I know my queen will forgive me. She always has! Even when I used to play simple pranks on the people in the castle, she would forgive me.”

Sadly I can only wait for the events to play out from this room. Rela created a barrier in here that doesn’t allow me to leave, and for that I will never forgive her! I might have played mean pranks on people in the past, but Rela went too far. It is not fair that I have to wait here. It matters not though, the stage is already set, and I will get what I want.

In a few weeks this barrier will also mean nothing to me. I will be beside my queen once again even if Rela despises me.
