After leaving the tennis court, Xu Xinduo put away her racket. She walked over to Tong Yan who was standing behind the fence and said, “Tong Yan, I’m sweating.”
Tong Yan understood what she meant straight away. He took off his jacket and threw it over the top of the fence to her.
Xu Xinduo quickly put on the coat after catching it and lazily walked back to the court.
Most of the crowd that came to watch the game saw the interaction between the two.
After watching it, Mu Qingyi retracted his gaze and noticed that Shao Qinghe was smiling. He knew that Shao Qinghe was probably fantasizing some sort of drama, he couldn’t help but feel helpless.
The competition was held in a single-elimination structure. She had already finished her match for the day so she had nothing to do til the next round of the competition.
The Ping Pong competition had been going on for several days already and today happened to be its finals, while today’s tennis match was a qualifier. The combination of the two made Xu Xinduo feel a little pressured and exhausted.
Fortunately, her opponents were very weak.
At least, that’s what Xu Xinduo thought.
After Xu Xinduo finished the match, Yin Shaoshu went back to the classroom with his tennis racket.
Mu Qingyi and Shao Qinghe, also left after Xu Xinduo’s game was over.
After packing up all her stuff, Xu Xinduo joined Tong Yan, Lou Xu and the others at the fence to watch for a bit, but left after a bit. She already planned to return to the classroom after the match.
Tong Yan took out a napkin and helped Xu Xinduo wipe off the sweat from her forehead. He asked her: “How about you drop out of the competition? With your physical condition, playing an outdoor competition is simply courting disaster. At this rate, you will catch a cold.”
Xu Xinduo looked like a decathlon athlete, but in fact, her body as well as her immune system was very poor. She would catch the flu every year. Tong Yan couldn’t even remember how many times he got sick when he was in her body.
It was really worrying for him to watch her participate in this kind of competition with her poor physique.
Xu Xinduo shook her head: “I need the bonus points from this.”

Tong Yan felt a little helpless, but he couldn’t say anything.
Mu family’s villa.
Mu Qingyi and Mu Qingyao sat down, side by side, at the dining table. They were obviously sitting together, but neither of them said a single word. Just half a year ago, the relationship between the two people was completely different.
Mother Mu also noticed the situation and felt uncomfortable. She didn’t know what to say.
Father Mu was the last to enter the dining room. After entering, he sat down and looked at the place Xu Xinduo used to sit. His face sank as he said, “Her chair should be removed. Since she has left the house, there is no need to reserve a place for her.”
Mother Mu hit Father Mu’s arm and motioned him not to say such things. As she knew that every time Mu Qingyi heard such things, he would be unhappy.
Father Mu was also angry that Xu Xinduo actually left after she said that she would. He was planning to cut off Xu Xinduo’s pocket money. Once Xu Xinduo couldn’t live on her own, she would naturally return back to the family.
Mother Mu was really worried about Xu Xinduo
What if Xu Xinduo is living in an unsafe place? What if Xu Xinduo ends up going astray for money?
She was even more worried, since Xu Xinduo was very beautiful.
Mother Mu wanted Mu Qingyi to persuade Xu Xinduo to come back, but he refused, saying that he could not afford to lose her. He saw how Xu Xinduo was doing and hoped that the Mu family would let her go. It would be easier for both parties, if they acted like they had never met each other.
Mu Qingyao even said that Xu Xinduo never liked her, so it would be counterproductive if she did it.
After thinking about it, Mother Mu decided to visit Xu Xinduo’s school in a few days. She was the daughter of the Mu family and deserved to live a good life.
