"So how was your first adventure?"
"Hmm….well, it was easy in a way but, it would have been harder if I didn't have my eyes, that mission was all about handling deception, so."
"oh! So you participated in Alina's mission. What was it again? Hmm…..killing all the kamilozes right?"
"Yeah, they were even mutated to a level that most of them could easily take human forms."
"Well, that's why it was counted as an Alibion mission. Imagine those buggers in a city instead of in a middle of a jungle. They would create absolute mayhem for sure."
"That's true, so, now that I am part of the Alibion, you can tell me more about them right? The memory losing charm. The Equade and most importantly those…..Monsters. I'm still confused about them, do they really exist?"
"haha…..you have a lot of questions, don't you? Well you know me, as a merchant if you want something, you need to…..mnnnnnnn"
Atlas connected his lips with hers right away, her eyes wide in shock, feeling his tasteful lips. He pulled her closer drawing her body near him, her soft chest touching his. He wanted to do more than just kissing but he controlled himself and let her go, giving her time to breathe.
"haa….."
Bela finally had time to breathe and came back from the sudden pleasure. She didn't know why, his lips were more delicious than before and his single touch on her body made her even more sensitive. Like he was attracting her body more and more like a magnet in disguise.
She gazed at him with half-open dreamy eyes, her cheeks all red. She wanted more, she wanted to devour his lips and taste it once again. Her body which was slightly warm was now all hot from within, feeling the rush from her insides, slowly turning her bottom, damp.
She came closer to him for another bountiful kiss but a finger came in between, interrupting their touch.
"You need more? Info first Bela, Give and take, you are a merchant, no?"
Bela came out of her dreamy state after hearing his rejection, pouting her right cheek in a cute way.
"I see, being with me has influenced you in some way huh. Okay, I will take the loss for now." She said with a smile. "So you wanted to hear about the great and almighty Alibion?" she asked.
"yes."
Bela spread her mana all around her office and locked it as usual.
"Ok, listen. Their story dates back to the day when we humans came into power. After winning the war with all the other species, we conquered the lands containing the greatest degree of mana which we now peacefully reside in.
It was a peaceful time then, we didn't face our population dread. After years and years of being condemned by all the races, with mana and the God symbols in our hands we were literally invincible, until, ha.... the leviathans were born."
"what?…so those monsters are called Leviathans?" Atlas asked.
"Yes, there were a total of nine of them born and evolved from the sudden insurgence of mana around the globe as you are already in knowledge off. We were still conquering more lands and resources from all the other races back then but those nine beasts came in the middle, hindering our inevitable rise.
Their every step destroyed mountains passing high magnitude of earthquakes around them, their single breath would create natural disasters bringing tsunamis and tornados, their movement alone would destroy countries along their way. Even their size wasn't enough, they could control their affinity-wise symbols with more precision like us but with an enormous amount of mana at their disposal.
They were the literal embodiment of natural disaster born and evolved to the apex of their species."
"...…"
Atlas was quiet for a while, the images he saw back then only showed him parts of what seemed to be true but the reality was much worse than he imagined.
"h…how did we face them, from the information I got during the participation. It said we fought them?"
"You are right, we didn't stay silent and let them meddle in our road to conquering the whole world, so our first fore-fathers and first fore-mothers battle with those heathens…"
"wait wait wait…..you mean humanity battled with those titans like leviathans?"
"Ha-ha….yes, it's only a myth now but the first humans, born through the struggle from the years and years of wars between all the races weren't like us as of now.
They were equal to gods, utilizing mana to their full potential, using all the twelve God-symbols left by the ancient dragons. As those Leviathans were destroyed, the first mages of human history which were named the Originals existed as the creators. With a swing of their hand, forests were born, Mountains were created. They even changed the weather itself altering them to humanity's needs and liking.
As such powers clashed with the Leviathans, lands and seas changed to a whole different level. New continents were born while the old ones drowned. In that time of battle, the whole globe was slowly changing and consumed in chaos as the battle continued.
All the other races went to hiding, trying to escape their inevitable doom from the clashes of the Leviathans and the so-called gods.
After clashing for months and months, the Originals finally killed three of those monsters, only six of them remaining as of now but….. we humanity also lost a third of our Originals. So…"
"So? Go on…" Atlas said in curiosity and wonder. He was listening to the real history of humanity itself where the books didn't have a record of. He was literally amazed by humans and their prowess. When he was still in the palace taking history lessons, there wasn't a single drop of knowledge, which he was now heeding.
There wasn't mention of the Leviathans, the Originals, anything. All he was given was how humans, who were at the bottom of the food chain, who were treated like cattle and slaves by the other races came to power after the Dragon's appearance and their gift of mana and symbols.
"Come on, Go on…." He said in a hurry.
'haha….ok ok, just wanted to annoy you, seeing you so focused on me unlike other times…so where were we, oh right…..So after losing their members on both sides. The clashing of the Leviathans and the Originals finally stopped. After colliding with each other for months, the Originals finally started to understand, they were not just mindless, instinct-driven monsters like others. They also had some form of intelligence, the difference was that some had higher and some had lower and with that knowledge, they tried negotiating for the first time.
They didn't want to battle it out with them to the last breath as they wanted what was best for humanity and to their counter the Leviathans, Seeing three of their fellow Goliaths die, the Alpha of their assembly also tried interacting with the humans for the first time.
It was very hard at the beginning, as some Originals weren't ok with negotiating with those monsters, the reasons were plenty. Of the one-third that died, most of them had family, friends and loved ones, of course, they would reject negotiating with the ones who killed them but the number of other members out weighted them, finally starting the first negotiation between humans and monsters."
"Then what happened?" Atlas asked.

"Then, they came up with a deal or a pact they say. The Leviathans wanted mana, a whole lot of mana for all of them to live under and the areas where humans were living were the locations available with the most concentration of mana within the whole globe. So the Originals agreed, giving them locations at the borders of human society, decisively dividing them from each other.
And a deal wouldn't be a deal if we humans didn't get anything In return, so take a guess what we took in return?"
"…hmm.....the bloodlines??"
"Correct!!, the Originals demanded a portion of their power in return to have them live in our region, and with that both parties came to a conclusion and accepted the pact sharing the power to all the humans, to empower all of humanity even more."
"Wait, was that the reason we humans started having our childbirth problem?"
"that's what most of the people would think after learning this story but no, According to research the problem had already begun when we started to use mana, it was just not serious at that point as there were still a number of humans back then."
"hmm…..i see, so most of the Bloodlines that people possess now were from the pact made with the Leviathans. So where are the remaining six? Did we just left them as they are?"
"No. that's where, Albion came to be, created by the remaining members of the Originals to watch over the Leviathans roaming around our borders.
As everywhere they went, they would leave their remnants, may it be their concentrated mana affecting other monsters or their children….."
"Wait, wait….I'm lost again. Those monsters give birth??!!!!"
"Yes, but, they aren't powerful as their parent, as they were born from reproducing with other weaker monsters but nevertheless, Leviathan's offsprings are a dangerous bunch, reaching the Five-star threat level easily. So you now know what Alibion's adventures are for.
They deal with dangerous monsters that humanity doesn't need to know about."
"I see. Then is the memory glitching charm? Did the Originals created it too?"
"hmm...that's classified information that even I don't know. I only heard rumors that…." She said gesturing him to come closer. "it's not done by us humans…" she whispered.
"...."
"It's just a rumor among all the high-level Albion adventures, so….don't need to take it so seriously."
"Then, do they still exist?"
"Who? The Originals? Hahahaha….they are only a story of the past now. If they really existed, Humanity wouldn't be ruled by peak and supreme tier bloodlines, would they?"
"...I see, that was stupid of me to ask but what if the covertly kept Leviathans retaliated."
"hmm…..I also don't know but, it was said that the pact was done with complicated means which couldn't be broken no matter what.
I know it's ominous to believe such things but, look at us, after thousands of years, we humans are still here doing as we please."
"Yeah, you are right on that. Didn't wanted to act like a worrywart."
"That's normal, we all want to know what or who is above us, all the time. It's instinct. The only proof of the existence of the original is that, Alibion." She said pointing at his heart, where the black star remained.
Atlas nodded, touching his chest, feeling his heartbeat rush a bit.
"So can I get more details on this history which you told?"
"This is all I was allowed to procure from decades of being an Alibion adventurer myself. Further info is pretty impossible if I have to say."
"….ok, then…..the Equade?"
"sorry that's also clas…."
"classified." He said, completing her words.
"….well, you want answers, you need to climb up the ladder first and what I told you just now must be kept secret up to your grave ok, this is actually a five-star ranked top-secret, only the Black chosen ones being the exceptions. If the public knows about them, all of humanity will be restless, creating more chaos than harmony." Bela said seriously.
He gulped looking at her serious face for once. She was right. These kinds of power were too much for humans or any other species. So that's the main reason all of this was kept secret as much as possible.
'But won't the other races, the giants, the elves, dwarves, and the others would know about their past existence, or are they also affected by Alibion. If I ask Bela, I'm sure she will say it's classified again, ha….."
"Umm, and one last thing." He asked.
"What, I'm ready to answer anything you ask, for another taste for your lips of course."
"About you and Alibion…"
