-----POV The Sage Oka Teruko-----

"Even though it is unbelievable. This memory we're experiencing right now can only be from that person."

"But how can that be...He was certainly born in the other world. That is unquestionable."

I told her what I thought was the certain truth no matter how unthinkable it was. But Chiharu seems to be denying the truth.

"There's no way this is the truth."

Still trying to deny it she shakes her head rapidly.

"No matter how you look at it the truth is that the memory we're in right now. Undoubtedly belongs to the Blood Emperor and why the reason his memory contains memories of Japan. We can only continue forward to find out about everything."

After hearing me say that, Chiharu stopped shaking her head and looked at me. Seeing her nodded her head reluctantly with an unwilling expression, and muttered to herself something quietly. While I turned around and looked at the door in front of me.

"Seems like our only choice is to go through this door. Maybe we can even find Sachiko in there."

Still with my back turned away from Chiharu I told her.

"So if we want to know about the so call TRUTH Sachiko said. We need to go through this door, learn everything, and walk to the end of it no matter what."

'After all that person, that figure... that's my mother. The person who is supposed to be missing when I was born, is here.'

I turned around, looked deep into Chiharu's eyes, and said. While also thinking about the person I saw when I woke up here.

"Haaaaa...F-fine but if I feel a-anything wrong we are running out. You hear me?"

'Seems like she's back to being herself. Not stuttering at everything she said.'

'Must be because of the guilt she felt when she causes the whole situation.'

"Yes, yes I hear you."

She stutters at the start then slowly stated in a commanding voice. And me knowing her personality. I could tell that the things she said is because she was worried about me. So I replied to her while smiling wryly and throwing my hands up.

"Let's go, shall we?"

"Hum."

I asked her. Hearing she hummed an answer

Both me and Chiharu walk to the door looking at each other. We nodded and reach our hands toward the door handle and slowly pushed it open.

White lights seep through the opening of the door blinding us even with our enhance bodies and senses while also engulfing us in it.

"Fuck!...not...again..."

Feeling the familiar sensation of our conscious blurring. I curse out loud.

After I lost consciousness again. I woke up in bed. In a completely white room with the color white on everything. From furniture, clothes, the food on the table, and even the bed I'm on is white. Everything is in white.

"What in the fuck..."

Looking around while wondering where the hell I am. I blurted out.

"Experiment NO.27 are you awake?"

A voice came from outside the room.

"WHO?!"

Hearing a voice that doesn't resemble a guy or girl but instead, the voice resembles what you would normally hear from a robot trying to speak like humans. So I yell out while moving my head to see if there is any movement in the room I'm in.

"...yes..."

Hearing a small voice. I look at myself even around the room to see nothing but then when I moved out the bed. I quickly turned transparent while my body seems to be floating in the air away from the bed.

"What is happening..."

I asked myself. And turning my head back to bed I saw something that shake the deepest part of my soul. An individual whose limbs are chained to the bed. Looking up at the white ceiling with her dead eyes seemingly in deep thought.

"Experiment NO.27 how are you feeling?"

"...fine..."

The robotic voice rang out again from the room asking the individual. While she muttered an answer. Meanwhile, I was floating there shocked to the core while looking at the individual I know.

'B-but how...t-t-that's not p-possible. I-it have t-to be a-a lie.'

"Experiment NO.27 do you still who you are?"

"..."

That voice asked while the individual just stayed quiet this time. And still looking at her I faintly saw her eyes glow for a second but they quickly dim back to those dead eyes.

"Experiment NO.27 do you still who you are?"

The voice asked again but even though it is clearly robotic. I can tell the voice sounded much colder than before.

"...Teruko...Oka Teruko...my name..."

While I heard her mutter hers. No, my name slowly but surely. And that's when my jaw dropped and my eyes widen.

'That's...me...but...I don't recall ever being here?... So how...'

I thought to myself while still glaring at the supposedly younger version of myself.

'Even though I don't ever remember being here or anything that is linked to this place. I can't deny that the person chained to the bed isn't me.'

I looked at the person closer, staring at her body closely not wanting to miss any details even the most overlooked ones.

'Long auburn color hair that ran throughout the bed covering most of her body. But even though her hair covers most of her face I can still see her dead black eyes.'

"Experiment NO.27 forget who you were. Now your name is 27, not Oka Teruko remember that."

"...but that's the name mom gave me..."

'Huh? Mother name me? But didn't Sachiko, Chiharu, and me came up with our name together at the orphanage when we were young?'

'Now that I think back about it. There were indeed a few weird moments back then when the three of us decided to name ourselves in the orphanage. Like how the name just came to me, no us naturally. And when we told our name, we all just accepted it with no questions asked. It was almost as if we instinctively knew that these names belong to us.'

Meanwhile, I was in deep thought about the problem with my name. The voice said in a commanding tone to my younger self. While the younger me seems to be subtly rejecting the order of the voice.

"Your name is 27. Either you comply or your test shall commence right away."

While still staring at my younger self. The voice told my younger self in a commanding tone to forget who I am.

'Test?'

I think to myself and decided to wait and see where this will lead to.

"U-U-UNDERSTOOD! M-MY NAME I-ISN'T O-OKA TERUKO B-B-BUT 27!!!"

"...Very well then experiment NO.27, your next test is 10 hours from now."

"Y-YES, I W-W-WILL D-DO GOOD O-ON T-THE TEST!!!"

Seeing her eyes quivering, looking around the room frantically, and her voice stuttering like crazy while also yelling out her answer. Seeing the suppose younger me who had dead eyes a few minutes ago being so afraid of the test, it took me off guard for a moment, shaking my head. I was determined to find out what happened.

'I need to dig deeper, learn more about this place. It is somehow  related to me even though this is supposed to be the memory of the Blood Emperor.'

'I also can't rule out the fact that this might not be his memory but a spell that fabricates and replace my memories about my life and possibly makes me, Chiharu, and Sachiko his loyal subordinate.'

'If that's true then he must have somehow faked his death and secretly use a spell on all three of us...'

'Even if that's so, why would he show us the fabricated memories...'

'So many questions yet no answers...'

'Well, I just have to see what awaits me at the end of all of this.'
