Chapter 1: Prologue

Under the cloak of midnight, the fox girl gazed upon the starry sky from her secret haven in the desolate mountain ranges of Maryland.

She was the only one of her kind, with an unknown background and a heart full of wonder. The garden of twinkling stars and the gentle, lovely blue moon were her only companions.

She marveled at the reflection of the stars in her meek eyes, her blooming countenance a testament to her innocence and independence. Untouched by the outside world and the cruelty it held.

But one fateful day, a group of nefarious individuals discovered her haven. They plucked her from her peaceful existence, not understanding the beauty they were destroying.

The white fox girl, who knew nothing of good and bad, let them cage her effortlessly. She was blinded by her excitement and failed to see the sneers of evil on their faces. As time passed, she realized that she was nothing more than prey to them, a creature to be used and then discarded.

In a moment of clarity, a divine premonition came to her.

She closed her eyes, accepting her fate with a serene smile on her face. Tears flowed down her pinkish cheeks as her consciousness began to fade away.

In her final moments, a glowing angel descended from the heavens, knelt before her, and wiped away her tears.

The fox girl could not express her gratitude for the peaceful life she had been blessed with, even if it was for a thousand years.

As the sun rose from its slumber, the fox girl's soul ascended to the heavens, leaving her lifeless and cold body behind, leaning against the rusty metal bars of her cage.

It was a death that was peaceful and without regrets, a release from the suffering of this world.

But to the men responsible for her downfall, her death was a mere footnote in their nefarious actions.

To the average onlooker, her lifeless body trapped in a cage was a stark reminder of humanity's cruelty.
