After Aarom, the elderly driver, rode off on the horse he rented, Osmund remained polite to Aoh and called over an elderly woman named Doris to assist her. The children were observing Aoh with strange expressions, as if they had never seen a beautiful half-human like her in the rural area before, especially the overweight one who had just spoken rudely to her, his gaze fixed on Aoh's innocent appearance.

Osmund Alkayde reprimanded the children, shouting, "Stop staring and do a hundred sword swings!"

Doris politely requested Aoh's company, saying, "Come with me, Miss."

Although Aoh was excited to learn, she was also curious to watch the young sword-fighters for a bit longer. But she didn't want to appear odd as a visitor rather than a student.

Despite her eagerness to learn, Aoh wanted to spend a little more time observing the young sword practitioners. However, she didn't want to come across as odd as an apprentice rather than a guest.

"Miss, this house is where Lord Osmund, the Mistress, and some knights reside, along with the young sword learners," the older woman warned Aoh as she followed Doris through a wooden corridor. “The majority are young men who are single. Stay in the back and avoid wandering to ensure your own safety and avoid trouble."

Aoh listened to Doris' advice because the old woman knew a lot about the area.

Gazing at a particular young man, Aoh couldn't shake off his disturbing behavior. Doris warned, "Pay extra attention to that overweight boy, Pyke. He's the Mistress's favorite nephew, strong, but vicious. He's harmed demihumans and girls in nearby villages and is rumored to have killed some. The Lord has accused him, but the Mistress always protects him." Doris expressed her frustration.

"Thank you for the warning, I'll be careful," she said, tensing up. Aoh had hoped that everyone here would be as honest as Amara's grandfather, but it seemed that wouldn't be the case. She was grateful that Aarom was the first person she formed a connection with besides Amara. Aoh thought she could learn techniques and styles in this place safely, but it appeared it wouldn't be that simple.

"Aoh was brought here by the Grandmaster, would the naughty children really harm Aoh?" she wondered to herself.

Doris and Aoh walked down the winding hallway and arrived at one of the houses at the back. Upon opening the door, they saw a small desk with a towel on top set up in the room. "Miss, please rest here first. I'll go prepare some juice drinks and bath water for you," Doris said.

Aoh was delighted at the news she could take a bath. She had been on quite an adventure and had sweated a lot.

But Aoh was still a bit anxious.

"Granny Doris, may Aoh ask where the bathroom is?" She felt awkward asking. Aoh hadn't been able to use the toilet since coming to this town last night, like the one used by Amara and the women at the inn.

"Is the young lady referring to the washhouse? It's in the backyard," Doris replied and opened the back door of the room. The backyard was a wild garden, overgrown with grasses and vines.

"Thank you," Aoh said as she tried to appear calm while walking through the garden and entering the bathhouse in the vegetable garden corner.

The bathhouses were bigger than she was used to, so Aoh closed the door of the washroom behind the kitchen and covered her eyes with a white towel before undressing.

As she soaked in the wooden tub with her eyes covered, Aoh reflected in silence.

Although she couldn't see anything, Aoh could smell the sweet fragrance of the candles on the sides when she raised her hand. Each candle could last for months and was a sought after item among women. The smell was enchanting, reminding Aoh of the times she spent with Amara in their only bathtub.

"Socializing is scary, Amara," she thought to herself.

She remembered the advice to get along with everyone, but it was going to be difficult. As she resolved to become an adventurer, she had to build her mental strength.

That’s right, an adventurer! In order to live in the outside world independently, she had to rely on herself! Rely on her own strength to protect herself, to make Amara proud and to live with dignity!

After her bath, Aoh felt rejuvenated. Upon returning to the room, she saw that a bed was set up and refreshments were laid out beside it. Despite not feeling hungry, Aoh ate one fruit from her backpack. She suddenly felt exhausted and lay down on the bed, drifting off into a deep sleep without any dreams.
