Chapter 42: The Lost Crypts of Gothmog – Page 90

With no time to lose, you drop to the floor. Vents open in the ceiling above you, raining down arrows on your prone form.

You lay there for long, agonizing moments, gasping for breath as the pain starts to sink in. You try to get up, but an arrow has pierced your lung and you can feel the warm blood gushing out of the wound. You know you're not going to make it out of this one alive. You can hear more arrows thumping into the floor on both sides of you as you lay there slowly bleeding to death.

A loud boom is heard that echoes out through the dungeon. You fancy it’s the dungeon itself laughing at you as your vision turns dark you lose consciousness.

You are dead.
