Chapter 47: The Lost Crypts of Gothmog – Page 97

As you enter the dungeon room, you are immediately aware of the musty smell of damp stone. It is pitch black inside, and you cannot see anything. You take a few steps forward, and your foot hits something soft. You jump back in shock, and your hand goes to your sword. You take a few deep breaths to calm yourself and slowly reach down to feel what your foot hit. It is a body. A dead body. You cannot see any wounds on it, but it is stiff and cold to the touch. You stand up and take a few steps back, trying to make sense of the situation. It is then that you hear a soft thudding noise like something big is approaching in the darkness. You unsheathe your sword and prepare for the worst.

Suddenly, the walls start glowing an eerie green light and a bear zombie emerges from behind a curtained alcove. It's a giant, hairy, ferocious creature, and it's coming at you with its sharp claws and teeth. You have to be quick and decisive if you want to survive.

You raise your sword, prepared to take this beast down. The bear zombie swings its massive paw at you, but you duck under it, jabbing it in the stomach with your left fist.

The bear zombie roars in pain and fury, swiping at you again. You dodge out of the way and deliver a powerful kick to the bear zombie's knee. It staggers under the force of the blow but remains standing.
