" That's not even the best part." Leo said, slipping his fingers out of her and Becca's breathing returned back to normal.

Given an orgasm by the sexiest man alive right getting off work, what an excellent way to be welcomed home.

Becca's lips parted, a hint of a smile on her gaping mouth. " What's the best part?"

A voice in her told her that Leo was cooking up something shameless as soon as she caught sight of the naughty smile smirched on his face but because of how open minded she tends to, she chose to give him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps it was the effects of the orgasm he just gave her that was making her assume things.

Seconds trickled by, Leo didn't answer as he kept peering into Becca's eyes, the smile on his lips growing naughtier, giving her the long-awaited response. Whatever he was thinking of just had to be shameless. No doubt about it. He was utterly shameless and she was equally brazen for deciphering his lewd thoughts.

" You would get more than just my fingers." His smile became a full-blown grin, sinfully beautiful just like he was.

Becca rolled her eyes at him, still smiling as fought hard so she wouldn't be swayed by him as always. She failed, obviously. His arms curled loosely around her waist, his muscles flexing and relaxing against her and that sexy grin on his face were just tactics to lure her into his beautiful inescapable trap, a trap she had long gotten lost in. She didn't even know her out anymore, she didn't want to know the way as long as it meant he would also be with her, then she would be more than willing to stay.

Her smile brightened as she remained hovering over her, careful not to put any pressure on his wound so it wouldn't open up again.

The proximity of Becca's lips teased him, nudged at his sanity but he did his best to stay still, stay calm and most especially, stay under her.

" Then I can't wait for you to recover."

With that, she trailed her hands down, a seductive smile curving her lips as she slowly eased off. She alighted the bed, her hips swaying as she sashayed her way to the closet, her original destination.

Becca knew he kept staring after her. She practically felt his eyes on her, the heat and intensity of his gazes permeating her.

She ignored him though, ignored the way his stared gazes ate her up bite by bite until there was nothing left. Until she felt a fresh arousal pooling between her thighs. The uninvited throbs. Her eyes squeezed abruptly.

Leo. He was way over there, on the bed yet somehow he still managed to arouse her as if their distance apart didn't mean anything, to show just how badly her body craved him. His body.

No matter what, her brain would always choose to associate him with desire.

" So how was work? "

Leo's voice cracked her stupor and her eyes open.

She tossed him a glance. " It was okay."

His deep masculine tone did nothing but worsen the throbs, making them unbearable. She shouldn't be reacting like this, not when he just gave her an orgasm but here she was, wanting him to wreak more beautiful chaos on her. To vent out his expertise on her, to intertwin herself with his darkness. The same darkness that, for some reason, makes her feel safe. His darkness was far thicker than hers ever was but yet it still guided her out of the high walls she once built around herself. He helped her recover from the grief and guilt that plagued her, maybe someday once he finally opens up, then she too can help him heal from his trauma.

Someday.

Days passed and Leo's recovery sped up. He finally got his bandages removed. The wound had closed up but left behind a scar, a reminder of the havoc a single tiny bullet could cause. His orthopedic therapy continued and to add to the list of miracles that were happening, Leo, for the first time in over three weeks, moved his legs. He stood on his own two feet. His legs quivered as he planted them on the floor, holding his wheelchair firmly as he forced himself to straighten but failed miserably. With his back arching slightly forward, he staggered four steps forward before his legs gave out and he fell face flat on the floor.

Becca witnessed it all, shedding tears of joy while Leo glowered, annoyance and shame flooding him. He was like a toddler learning how to work. Pathetic. But for Becca's sake and the fact that he was just a small milestone away from getting rid of that dreaded wheelchair, he decided to behave and cooperate with the Orthopedist.

Soon, Leo got so accustomed to falling on his face, it almost seemed like he was communing with the floor. Nevertheless, Becca still encouraged him through his slump, occasionally impeding amused laughs. The last thing she wanted was for Leo to catch her laughing at him.

Her job was to cheer him on, not ridicule him but the sight of a man as strong and muscular as Leo tripping over like that was just too funny. Especially after it happened over and over and over again.

Luckily for her, she managed to record a short video of Leo trying to walk without him noticing. Long story short, it was hilarious.

Leo's efforts paid off. Life returned to his legs. After feeling nothing for so long, now he finally felt something. He could feel the blood rushing down his leg. His leg hurt whenever he fell and boy, did it feel good to be in pain.

In his case, pain meant progress and progress meant no more wheelchair. He smirked at the thought.

Despite all his vile sins, the heavens still smiled down at him. The day he longing for ever since he set eyes on that demonic seat from hell, came after a long time spent waiting and falling. The day he would set his wheelchair on fire. It was the same day his doctor relieved him from his bondage and prescribed a walking cane for him instead. It was the first time he had ever smiled so brightly in a door's office before.

Leo paid for the cane and the next thing he did was torch his wheelchair with Martino. He smiled at the flames as he watched it burn. But his smile faded away when he remembered Raphael was still on the loose. He had been so caught up with the progress of his legs and destroying his wheelchair that he forgot about the trash he had to take out, preferably incarcerate it.

He gripped his cane firmly in his right hand as he careened his way toward his car and sat on the backseat with no help whatsoever. The best day was his life.

" Are you okay back there?" Martino asked as he got on the driver's seat.

Leo smirked. " Never been better."

The car cruised smoothly into the vast compound that surrounded Leo's estate and Leo stepped out, smiling up at Becca as she peered down at him from their bedroom window.

She smiled back at him before rushing downstairs to met him, almost bumping into Fernanda on the way.

Fernanda's lips parted to ask Becca where she was going and why she was in such a hurry but her answer came where she heard footsteps behind. She looked over her shoulder and saw Leo approaching, Martino walking behind him. Then all the pieces of the puzzle fell in place.

She glanced at Becca then at Leo, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. However, the didn't

" Leo, you're home. It appears someone has been eager for you to return." Fernanda tossed a teasing look at Becca, who turned crimson before going ahead to hug her grandson, her nose again drinking at the repulsive smell of smoke. " You smell like smoke, again." She whispered to him.

" It's not what you are thinking this time." Leo whispered back, at the same time shooting Becca a smile.

" Oh really?" She whispered once more before breaking their embrace.

Leo, however, didn't respond, his eyes fixed on Becca and his mind thinking of nothing other than her and all the things he wanted to do with her body. Her sweet, sweet body. It was so good to have his legs back.

Becca walked up to him, not missing how Fernanda's eyes gleamed as she watched her wrapped her arms around Leo's waist as she gently helped him up the staircase. They could have easily just taken the elevator up to the third floor but both of them chose the stairs anyway. An excuse to hold each other. Fernanda shook her head, seeing right through their little excuse.
