"Xiao Ke, do you know which school Auntie wants you to go to?" asked Han Yanyan.
Tang Ke knew. "Dong Chen."
Dong Chen was the school that Han Yanyan attended. All the students there were from good families and wealthy backgrounds, with a minimum innate spiritual power level of A. Everyone there was destined to be an excellent mecha warrior from birth.
It had the best education, the best mecha, and many successful people had forged their circle of contacts here as teenagers. It was the circle of the rich and powerful, the cream of the crop.
Xinya wanted Tang Ke to squeeze into this circle. It was very understandable if one looked at it from the perspective of a mother. But according to Han Yanyan's background setting, it was for the sake of cultivating Tang Ke into an elite mecha warrior despite being unable to afford it that she had put aside her pride and resigned herself to being one of the mistresses of the Han family patriarch.
Han Yanyan wasn't going to let the plot go in the direction that it should have gone. She had her own plans. She planned to stay in this world for as long as possible before Leo woke up.
She didn't need Tang Ke to regain consciousness.
"Xiao Ke, I know that you are a very smart child, so let your sister explain the situation to you." Taking Tang Ke by the hand, she sat them down on the lawn in the shade of a tree, and gently explained the situation at Dong Chen to him.
"Every person there comes from a wealthy family. They like to hang out with people from the same background, and get better together," she said. "But they are very cruel to children who don't belong. They will look down on them, exclude them, and even bully them."
She tore apart the child's innocence and laid the cruel reality bare to him. When she looked into his eyes, she knew that he had understood.
"Your mother is wrong," Han Yanyan said. "She thinks that you'll get the best there, the best learning environment, and the best friends."
"But no one will be friends with me, right?" Tang Ke asked. He was an intelligent and precocious child, and immediately knew what she was saying.
"What your mother wants won't come true, and the bad relationships will hinder your studies. Paying for the expensive tuition will force your mother to do something she doesn't want to do."
Tang Ke's face suddenly became very ugly. Unexpectedly, he had even understood the suggestive implications of her words.
Xinya was beautiful. These past few years, as she had sought treatment for her husband, it was inevitable that she had met some disgusting men trying to take advantage of her. Tang Ke must have seen something to make him able to understand.
"Xiao Ke, although it's the first time we've met, your sister likes you very much. Will you listen if I give you some advice?" Han Yanyan asked.
Tang Ke looked up at her beautiful, angelic face, and nodded.
Han Yanyan turned on the smartwatch at her wrist, projected the screen and brought up a piece of information. With a flick of her finger and a whoosh, she sent it to Tang Ke's smartwatch.

Tang Ke raised his wrist, looked intently at the screen, and read out loud, "Aolin?"
"It's not a dazzling first-class school like Dong Chen, but the teachers are just as good as Dong Chen's and you'll get an excellent education there. Their biggest shortcoming is that their hardware isn't as good as Dong Chen," Han Yanyan told him. "But there will be many classmates there that you can make friends with, and you will be able to study with your mind at ease."
She patted the boy on the head and looked him in the eye. "Auntie wants to give you the best. But she's wrong."
"You don't need to have the best, you just need to do your best."
From a distance, the maid saw the visitor boy standing and running to the main building. Coming over, she asked the Eldest Miss, "Do you want me to follow him?"
"No need. Continue with what you were working on," Han Yanyan said.
When the maid had left, Han Yanyan stared at a small flower at her feet.
There was a strange power in her body. Han Yanyan had prior experience with superpowers in the apocalyptic world, so after a few tweaks, she easily adapted to using it. She blinked, and the little flower was crushed by an invisible force, withering into the grass and disappearing from her sight.
Spiritual power. How nice. Unfortunately, it was fake. Han Yanyan sighed.
The spiritual power she had was bestowed by this world onto "Girl Han Yanyan", just like the superpowers that "Apocalyptic Han Yanyan" had possessed. They belonged to the setting and were inseparable from their character. They could not be brought out of the world.
But it didn't matter. She had a lot of time in which to study it well.
Zheng Yao had destroyed his world with spiritual power, and Yao Chen had stopped a bullet with spiritual power.
Han Yanyan also stopped a bullet. At that moment, there had been a strange force about to explode from her body. She didn't know if the reason it hadn't done so was because Leo had pulled the plug on that world, but she was sure that it didn't belong to Yao Chen's world.
That power was outside of a world. It belonged to her. And on top of that, it gave her the same feeling as the oppressive aura she had felt from Yao's true self.
She didn't know why, she, an ordinary person, had spiritual power. Han Yanyan thought about it and guessed that it might have something to do with the gene therapy Leo had mentioned.
If Leo had been present, he would probably have cursed, "Shit, she called it again!".
